Does anyone know of a messaging app/mod... - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

edit: ***Forgot to add I'm looking for TW***
That is
1)Inverted
2)Doesn't have people's pictures taking up all that space in each individual convo
3)Has emoji support
To me that is the perfect messaging app. I can only seem to find apps that satisfy 2 out of the 3 I listed. Most of my contacts don't have a picture and the emply picture square annoys me. Emoji's are that big of a deal but I'd like to find something that is inverted and has the contact picture removed. Any help is appreciated!

I'm not seeing any of those options at all. Is the screenshot you posted AOSP? I've never seen that screen before.

Yeah I know but there is an AOSP version and a TW version. Pretty sure the person that made that mod didn't put as much into the TW version, which is why I was wondering if the screenshot that was posted came from the AOSP version. I've searched the TW version and that option isn't in the settings.

Capacitive buttons are working fine with this ROM on my Bell D-Z.
I think I have a keeper with this one.
There are several reports of poor battery life with this version so I'm waiting for the next release candidate.
Is it not an issue that we only have 2 custom keys on the keyboard where they have 3?
Custom Keys don't even work yet so, no
Nice one. So are we talking a different keyboard layout or just those not working?
I'll go read up.

I don't think the keyboard layout is different, no, because there seems to be no problem flashing G2 ROM straight onto a DZ.

Ah sorry, my bad.. As it was in the CyanogenMod topic and I did see ADW Launch & HTC, with no additional text, I assumed it was the difference between the roms/launchers..

[ROM][CDMA][KANG] Miui 1.12.9 12/24/11

First and foremost, the script used to create this is from jt1134. My complete boredom wanted an updated MIUI build that will stay updated. This is my only android device worth a damn so I am just bored with it. Without his script I wouldn't have been able to do this. So many thanks to him.
Ported from the latest official fascinate rom and will stay updated. The theme in the picture is not default, it is only shown for theme working purposes.
Just flash in CWM Recovery
Issues
-------------------
-Didn't test too many things so please feel free to let me know
-The kernel will replace your cwr. For now at least
-Lyrics in music app dont work
-Built-in screenshot broken
-Be careful using themes from the builtin app. Use the ones here
Working
-------------------
-SMS
-3G
-Wifi
-Bluetooth
-Themes
-And anything else not listed above

Two more things I noticed, the trash can menu that up when deleting an icon doesn't stretch to the end of the screen, as well as the sound recorder app.

The lockscreen also is not centered in some themes, making it unable to unlock the screen. I had to reflash once.
Guys if you want to fix off centered Widgets you have to set dpi to 300

This is great news. Good to see one of the best ROMs in my opinion, MIUI, now available for CDMA Tabs. Keep up the good work!
I'm curious if GPS works in this build.

[Q] Jelly Bean 260dpi Lock Screen Center Mod?

Hey guys,
Anyone running a Jelly Bean ROM with a lower than 320 dpi will understand how annoying it is for the items on the lockscreen (time, date, lock-ring, provider) to be off-centre, justified to the right.
As far as I can see, there are no mods / patches for this problem at the moment. I'm not a developer, but it appears that it is possible to fix this:
http://localhostr.com/files/IOkAg3b/06-07-2012_114518.jpg
http://h10.abload.de/img/basiansmod_jellybelly4yrr6.png
If this IS possible, it would be great if one of you fantastic devs could put together a little mod for us to flash in recovery
Is this theoretically possible?

Unfortunately, I don't know. I stumbled across this screenshot on one of the ROM forums (can't remember which one ) and somebody was claiming to be able to fix the problem, but he was pretty much ignored..
I was hoping a dev might recognize some of the code and be able to identify where it came from
If someone will get me that file name I will make the changes now and test, this is also driving me crazy, I am looking into it as I type lol
ok, i found the .xml file to change with the code I need to change, however changing it does nothing.
the file name is "keyguard_screen_unlock_portrait", found here "framework-res.apk\res\layout"
again the changes do nothing, even after clearing cache nothing happens. They only thing I was able to get to change was moving the "charging text" to the left of the screen. I am not a dev so I have no idea why this is not working.

[REQ] Battery Icon Mod

Looking for a GS3 Sprint mod, - Battery mod -
Just the upright battery with the percentage displayed, all percentage numbers. I found one, or so I thought, but it only shows certain percentage numbers, (Ie. 100/85/57/42/33/12/2) So its... not very accurate.
Any help would be awesome. Even just a verticle bar with an accurate percentage would be awesome (I have something similar, but its limited on the numbers. :/)

Its possible. You need to get a rom, or systemui with the mod in it and change the images to what you want, or do it yourself. There is a thread in the internation forums that has a bunch of battery icons with %, but you would have to mod your systemui and change the images. You need to decompile SystemUI.apk and edit res/drawable/stat_sys_battery.xml and res/drawable/stat_sys_battery_charge.xml. Check this thread out.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1686464 You should be able to make the mod yourself from that.....also check this http://rootzwiki.com/topic/16728-how-to-random-mods-for-the-do-it-yourself-er/
