This will be my last Update to this ROM. Supporting 10 different devices when I dont even have most of them is just crazy. I will be continuing development of Kernel for the S3 but just dont have the time and energy to further this ROM. Sorry guys, maybe when things in the real world get a little easier I will pick this back up, but until then......................

This rom is att ported so in the OP he states the build.Prop
is already setup for att. Plus other stuff you would need for att phone. Flashing this rom would probably be beneficial over the t-mobile rom

Description
Vanilla RootBox is built straight from RootBox sources and always carries a very light installation with no extra/useless apps. This means, you can enjoy a pure Android experience combined with AOKP/CM features and some CM cherry-picks. Keep in mind Jelly Bean is only at the beginning stage of development and there will be minor bugs. Every RootBox releases are stable and always up to the challenge for a daily usage. I personally have a high standard when it comes to releases and this is why this project always meets the expectations of users. If you're wondering how this ROM differs from any other AOKP roms out there, I only have one thing to say: Try it yourself and choose the one that meets your requirements.

Question: does the mms app work for threaded group mms chats with multiple people?

[MOD] Multi-User on 4.2.1 (AOKP/CM)

Hello there!
First of all thanks to:
- monx® and rfmalta for their guides
- Wes Foster (wesf90) for his awesome framework flasher application which decompiles, compiles and makes a flashable zip of any framework-res.apk
- my brain for reading all that
I was just playing around with the new 4.2.1 ROMs that came out and I was wondering "Wouldn't it be neat if we had Multi-User?"
And then yeah, I set off on my adventure and then got through it using these guides:
[MOD][GUIDE] ENABLE MULTI-USER ON ANDROID 4.2.x - PHONE MODE
[MOD][CM10.1][4.2.1][GUIDE] Enable Multiuser (for noobs)
So I decided to make a ZIP so it be easy out there for any noobs who have difficulty in this (I know I did )
Instructions
1. Download the ZIP
2. Copy onto Internal Storage or SD Card, whichever you like.
3. Reboot into Recovery
4. Flash!

Bugs
- Phone calls can be received in any user, but only can be answered in the primary user. Same with SMS.
- The account switcher on the lockscreen is overlayed onto widgets, so it will interfere with it - Fixed
- When plugged in, the "charging" text will overlap some widgets (depends on the widget itself) - Removed lockscreen switcher
Basic Info
Maximum Users are set to 8, 2 was reasonable but I was trying this for fun anyways so yeah
monx® said:
BASIC INFO
Tablet vs Phone
Tablet has no Phone nor Messaging function so in this case, switching to other than primary user may cause Phone app (com.android.phone) force close. This is normal & make sense bcos we dont share phone to others. Whenever there is incoming call in other(s)user account, phone will ring as usual + LED notification but u need to switch to primary account immediately to pick up or will see miss called notification in primary account. Any activity related to Phone will force close in others account (outgoing call, ussd dialing, etc)
SMS messaging can be sent thru other(s) account but any received sms only viewable in primary account.
Click to collapse
Important Notes
- To get to the user settings go into Settings > Users
- When you add an account the framwork will restart, don't mistake it for a force-close
- Add more here
Updates
08022013
- Fixed switcher overlap on lockscreen
- Updated both ZIPs so that the switcher is now on top of the lockscreen
26022013
- Updated finally, sorry for the wait
- CM is now only for 24th nightly
- AOKP is now only for build 4
- removed lockscreen switcher because of the UI issues
Todo
Fix charging text overlap on lockscreen - Got rid of lockscreen switcher altogether

Nope, just enables the hidden 4.2 feature for the phone mode.
You can however use SwitchMe which is kind of like this

Hi. Thank you for this mod. I am having issues booting with your mod installed.
My device is running preview 2 with an inverted 4.2 gapps package located in this sub-forum. I also have a jelly bluex theme applied and I've installed the Sony sketch font.
I rebooted into recovery, flashed your mod and rebooted system without wiping cache/dalvic. Upon system reboot the ROM hung at the cyanogen bootanim for 10 min.
I rebooted into recovery by holding down the power and volume rocker. I wiped dalvik/cache and rebooted. It got past the animation and optimised the apps. Then a dialogue saying finishing boot appeared and hung. There was another dialog before (I think) that said $#%& is running. (Those may not be the exact combination that displayed.) It seemed odd to me.
What was your environment that you successfully flashed this with?
Do you have any guesses as to what could be the culprit?

You have to use CM recovery or CM based like phils. Sorry about that I wrote it in install instructions but I realize now it's not that informative, will fix.

Sent from my LG-LS970 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Sorry peeps, had a bad upload. New download in op. Flashed it and everythings a go. First time flashing, give it a minute, its a little slow the first time. Use CM recovery
Sweet! CM based Roms! :good:
Just flashed this ROM with the f93 CM kernel, and I have to say; this ROM is BLAZING ****ing fast, man. I don't know if its the combination of the built-in tweaks with the updated gproj sources or what, but goddamn. I'm definitely gonna stick with this for a while and see how it runs! Great job, brother.
Sent from my LG-LS970 using Tapatalk
Oh, and just for the record, I actually did manage to flash this with twrp 2.6.3.0 this time around. So I guess it really was just a bad upload

I am proud to present to you W03 Slim. This is a build forked off SlimKat with added features and tweaks under the hood. A huge thanks to the devs for the bases making this possible. Slim for their rom, CM for their device tree, and teams like PA, AOKP, Omni, etc for their features.
This won't be the AOSP rom with a thousand features, if that's your thing there are better alternatives. Ultimate battery, performance and reliability OUT OF THE BOX, that's the goal of the rom. When a feature gets in it's been tested to be bugless and high quality. SlimRoms has always been my favorite source so I added my layer of features and tweaks over it, made for our device and it's hardware, more than a bot building the same source for 15 different devices.
Feature List
Slim based
Edits/tweaks to make this build absolutely fly
W03 Slim kernel
Native call recording
Heads Up with many options
Peek
Floating windows
Lockscreen blur
Lockscreen notifications

SlimPIE
Slim recents and options
Stock recents with ram bar and clear all button options
Dialer lookup
Custom lockscreen targets
Customizable nav bar and power menu
Status bar options (clock, date, network speed, etc.)
Full hardware key rebinding
Notification drawer Shortcuts
Notifications and Quick Settings options
Custom system animations
ListView animations
Many more
