Any Touch Wiz ROM
Carbon 1.5 | Kroz Hue Brown Theme | Crack Flasher
Just stay stock, if you have the skill set to root, then you would also know most if not all roms have a list off what they do and don't do

Hi!
I needed to root the original Galaxy Tab 7" Samsung sent me (thanks to Samsung!)
Its a Korean SHW-M180S running latest official Gingerbread TH12 firmware, 100% stock.
Root is quite useful for what I do so I repacked quickly a kernel as insecure (adb connect you as root)
If it can be useful to you, I share it here:
SHW M180S Gingerbread TH12 insecure Kernel (tar)
Nice to see you here.
Any chance we may see a kernel for the original Verizon tab?

I'm trying to root my new Note 2 with Build AMC2. It looks like Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Toolkit 4.1 doesn't support this build and that I need 4.2.5. Does anyone know where I can find it?
Thanks.
first off the toolkit is in a sticky and not to mention it does support mc2. Plus there is any easier one click method that will flash you to stock with root and mc2.

I did clearly you didnt. He said that it doesnt support but it does because it should be number 92 in the toolkit menu to root it so I do know it supports it.
but why would he go through all that trouble vs the one click method that does it all for him much easier and better user friendly.

On my Note2 Toolkit, #92 is
Code:
SPRINT MODEL [SPH-L900]
91. Android 4.1.1 [Build ALJ1-ALJC]
92. Android 4.1.2 [Build AMA7]
LostSoul, do you have a different version of 4.1 that supports AMC2? If so, please send me a link.
Thanks for your help.

thanks a lot. think i'll just flash cleanrom to lose all the bloatware. i kinda wanted the stock stability since this is a work phone i think cleanrom will be a good fit.
Cleanrom is just as stable as the stock firmware.

can I use this method on a boot looped condition Samsung S7 edge exynos via twrp?
If your Samsung s7 is looping, try flashing the latest stock ROM via Odin.
I am a noobi when comes to roms, kernels and modems. I do not know what is compatible with what. Here is my set up.
Phone: Samsung Galaxy Note 2 , Sprint Edition
Current Rom: Goodness Noteworthy v. 1.0.6
Base band/Radio: Stock L900VPMAC2
Kernel:3.0.36 Perseus Alpha 35
My question is, will my modem be compatible to ASOP roms ? I am interested in trying the sprint jelly bomb rom v.21.
If my modem is not compatible where can I obtain the right one?
Thanks for your help.

No it won't root you either. You can use kingo root or downgrade to 4.1.2 and install a prerooted 4.3 ROM.
