plesse delete - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

So, my wife's phone is having issues with her camera on every ROM I have tried with her. It starts our working find and then out of nowhere it throws the cannot connect to camera thing pops up. I have to reset the phone in order to get it working again. I have done a complete wipe, format system, data, and cache then fix permissions. I have also tried the other apk's out there. they always end up with the same result. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to correct this. I was thinking about going back to stock and re rooting but wanted to exhaust other options before doing that. Thanks in advance

Can't format, Constant Errors, Strange Issues

So on Wednesday, I woke up to find all blank screens on my droid incredible. No apps, no widgets, etc. Thought this was odd. Rebooted, and they all came back. Then, came the error/force close messages. For everything. My contacts would randomly disappear, everything would just crash etc.
Went to clockwork (most recent version, whatever it is) to try to wipe the dalvik cache, regular cache, and fix permissions. Dalvik and permission fix went fine. When I tried to format the cache I got an "error formatting cache" message.
Over the last couple days, I noticed other strange problems. App updates wouldn't install properly, Every time I would reboot my phone, all my text messages from tuesday on would disappear (including any I have sent since a reboot). Apps I tried to uninstall would magically reappear on reboots. It seems that every time I rebooted my phone, it would revert back to this state prior to whatever went wrong with it.
This morning, I got a strange "UID Inconsistencies" message and telling me to wipe the phone data. My Only choice was to select a button that said "I'm Feeling Lucky"
I said screw it, I'll just backup what I need and wipe it.
Tried to do a data wipe via CW and.......when I rebooted it was like I never did. All the apps I had uninstalled were present, same issues (though slightly less prevelent), it was like I never did a factory reset at all.
I am really confused by this. I installed NO new apps prior to this, was not doing anything fancy on my phone. I rooted my phone last fall sometime, and have Touch of Blue 2.0 Rom installed. My only purpose for rooting and flashing this rom was to get rid of the dreaded "memory low" errors that plague the Incredible. I didn't experiment with anything so I am unclear how this problem arose or how to fix it. My phone basically works, but it's like the state of the phone continually reverts back to sometime between Monday and Wednesday of this week every time I reboot, no matter what I do to it, along with a slew of crazy errors that makes it extremely frustrating.
Hoping for some help. Thank you.

Are you s-off, bootloader unkocked, or both? Have you tried reflashing recovery?

s is on, because it seemed like too much effort to downgrade/turn it off than it was worth since my reasons for rooting didn't require it. I'm not sure what you mean by the bootloader being unlocked so probably not, and no I have not tried reflashing recovery. Will try that now.

Well if you have a custom recovery and have flashed a rom, then you have to be unlocked. Use fastboot and type without quotes "fastboot erase recovery " and then " fastboot flash recovery recovery.img ".

Can't do a factory reset

Hey everyone,
so I've been using Cyanogen Mod 10.1 by Owl Project thus far, but I've decided to switch the ROM to Marvelous CM10. I followed the usual procedure, backed up what I needed, did a factory reset (that was always enough), flashed the new ROM, and rebooted. But it rebooted into the same ROM, not the new one. So I did a factory reset again, but this time I also wiped dalvik cache, battery stats and such. Re-flashed Marvelous CM10 again, but the phone still booted into the old ROM. Had no errors when doing the factory reset (I saw other people not being able to do it because some of the partitions could not be mounted, etc.). So what shuold I do? Any help would be really appreciated.
EDIT: I managed to restore my backed up stock ROM. I'll try flashing something of my choice in the near future. If anyone has any clues as to what caused the problem, it would be great if you shared your thoughts. Not necessary, though.
EDIT #2: Turns out the installer for the ROM I wanted to install doesn't work at all. So if any admin could delete the topic, it would be appreciated. I can't seem to figure out how to delete it on my own.

[Q] Help Needed!!

Somehow the reset wiped everything my backups the OS everything. I have no idea how to get the files on the phone to re-flash. Can anyone please help!

This is in the wrong section, and your answer could probably be found easily with a simple search. Just fyi for future reference.
You can use odin to flash back to stop, or what I would do is download whatever ROM on your computer and use ADB Push/ADB Wireless and push the ROM to your phone. Then you can flash and viola!

Unfortunately NetworkSystemProvider has stopped (Google Play services)

I just got done taking the PG1 update and things were working fine except TitaniumBackup had the issue with the writing to SD Card. So I did some research and thought that I could modify the
Code:
/system/etc/permissions/platform.xml
, however when I rebooted the phone, I started getting the dreaded "NetworkSystemProvider" and "Google Play Services" stopped errors every few seconds. I have put the file back the way it was, rebooted, cleared cache & dalvik, but still I get the error. I really do NOT want to factory reset if I can help it.
It's frustrating even more-so because I generally run TitaniumBackups nightly and even TWRP backups pretty regularly too. I just hadn't gotten to one of the later, and ironically I was trying to fix the damn SD card write issue so that I could in fact do my TBs!! #FML
This seems like it should be something fixable no? I do have root and TWRP. I just can't find a good site that explains how to do it. I also tried to run the TWRP 'fix permissions' button too to no avail.
Can I just re-ODIN the PG1 or something worse case? And then re-root? ... without a factory reset I mean, so I keep my data and settings as they are?
I really don't understand how things go so jacked up from just changing an .xml file (and putting it back the way it was)??
Please help! Thanks!
Did you make a backup before you started modifying?
Did you try wiping cache and rebooting? Did you have a backup of the file you modified to restore? Check name and permissions?
If neither of the above help, factory reset and Odin again. Make a backup right after TWRP in case this happens again. Marshmallow is tricky and petty sometimes, unlike the earlier Android OS versions.
What you need is a PG1 modified services.jar for custom ROM. Don't recall seeing one shared for PG1. But there is a custom ROM in development forum.

Tried to encrypt, now stuck on boot screen!

Ok, so... This is a Galaxy S, 10.5". The T800. I'm running Resurrection OS: the Luis build or whatever. The one with the dog. I attempted to encrypt this thing with the built-in tool. From Settings. I tried and probably failed. I checked on my tablet a few hours later and found it stuck on the boot screen: spinny colors, all that. It never reached the end.
I rebooted into TWRP, and that worked fine. I checked to see if I could access the file manager, and I could. I could peer into various directories on the Data partition and see the files there. So I figure that's a good sign. I figured, I'll wipe the cache and the dalvik cache. That's good for what ails ya. No help. I found some recommendation about using TWRP to repair the data partition, so I tried that. No difference. I tried to boot into Safe Mood, but the key code didn't seem to make any difference either. No good.
So, any suggestions? There wasn't anything essential on there that couldn't reasonably be gotten back. I know I could just wipe... everything and start anew, but it would be a pain in the neck, pardon my French. I'd have to download and reinstall everything. If there's a quick way to get this thing back to normal without that hassle, I'd appreciate it.
If it failed,i fear your app data, information, etc might not work normal y any more?Just get to twrp, plug your usb and get your file, etc back.
Would it help if I provided a logcat?

Even if I have to just wipe and start over, I want to know what the heck was going on!
