I want to make a team so we can build together cm7 for galaxy y

Port cm7 from other ldpi phone
Or build it from source

how can I help?? i want to join up, but i am not a dev, themer or modder, i can be your tester.

come up with a kernel first plz.... sgy first needs a custom kernel or else cm7 wont work....

Now if it gets buggy too, then move to cm6.

the above thread was closed. the more recent thread is much more productive.

Most Productive CM7 so far!!
The Most Productive one is By Razor 083, Maroc nd others! has lot of bugs.. major one like no network! but still the best so far.. as U can do more than having just a look inside! But it's a Port.. Not from the source!
Here's a nandroid backup of my installation! If u want.. U can try this.. I tried on stock kernel!
And Recently MadTeam is working on one.. nd It also has lot of bugs but.. IT's FROM THE SOURCE!!!

my friend porting the AOKP, not the CM9..
though the Adreno team already got the permission for the CM9 so i just need the permission of Team Adreno.. as far as my logic go

I tried two times to install it but it freezes at Installing System... what can i do ?

I tried your rom, it's stable and smooth but there's still a little bit of flickering. But keep up the good work, you're doing it right!

Why modder cannot write: "It's only modded by me, based on CM9 ny Macław"... Tell me why?

what recovery do u use? and what freeze mean.. can u tell me de detail?
my step to flash this were :
Backup > Factory Reset > wipe dalvik cache > flash > reboot.. and it works ok

I made aokp for g fit then ace ..
Now it comes to gio also

This rom has flickering.
We didn't published kernel sources with fixed flickering.

This uses Maclaw's kernel, so you do need his permission. Did you ask?

I have completed my porting . As the title says , it is in beta stage but it is good enough for daily usage .I need community's help to complete my project .
First of all , all the thanks goes to :-
1.Free xperia team and CM team.

3.The three Muskeeters(Especially Shingers{My mentor })
4.Sony.
5.If i have left anyone , please let me know.
Installation Instructions:-
Obviously you need Unlocked bootloader and CWM installed and a brain.
1.Download ROM and Gapps and place it in root of your sd card.
2.Reboot into CWM.
3.Wipe data, dalvik and cache.
4.Flash ROM and Gapps.
5.Reboot and enjoy.
To have good battery life , FOLLOW THIS POST
Bugs:-
1.CM10 bugs ( I guess almost everything is working in CM 10)
2.You tell me.
As i dont have this device , i have to rely on the beta testers . I hope they continue to give their support as they are giving now.

I do show some interest, but this is main driver so I can't flash beta/alpha ROM's. Hope this project does become successful! Looking forward to the final version!

Anyone could port ChameleonOS to our wfs ?

i was trying to port ChameleonOS to our wfs by buggy cm 10.1 but i get stuck in bootloop can anyone else try ? :silly:

Just wait until we get a stable CM10.1........Right now it wouldnt feel that good using roms based on 4.2.2

No offense, but you're new here so if I were you, I'd wait a bit before starting make ROMs. Maybe you haven't got enough experience. I mean yeah, everyone can delete some apks or build.prop lines if he/she wants, but porting a ROM isn't always a piece of cake, especially when the base isn't stable yet (as @csoulr666 said).

Actually making it official will be pain in the butt mahn! ...pawitp will be bound to release updates and all as soon as cm releases, that will contradict with his private life too!!!!!...
it takes alot to make a rom official,
we all can see it with @xenon92 ...he gives so much time for developing roms just for us, i highly doubt he enjoying the side life,...
