FAQ
- How can I get this awesome pie thing to work?
The "nav pie" is actually pretty easy to enable. It´s important that you set your device into expanded desktop mode! Press the power button and click on expanded desktop!
After that go to Settings-> Toolbars and enable "Pie controls" From now on you can swipe up from the button (or any place where you set it to be) to get the pie!
Choose gravity, size and style!
- How can I theme the pie?
Exactly like the nav bar! Go to Hybrid properties and apply individual colors for every app under "Apps" or for all in "Interface"/ global colours
- I can't find developer settings
To activate developer settings, open Settings > About Phone & start tapping the "Build Number" (at the bottom). You'll see a countdown and then a message "You are now a Developer". Go back into settings main list, right above the "About Phone" you'll have "Developer Options".
- How can i get rid of the navigation bar?
To make the navigation bar disappear, go into hybrid properties & put "Navigation bar size" toggle to 0%
- How can i change the dpi of the lockscreen?
Lock screen dpi/size toggle is right below the navigation bar size toggle
- How can i make a screenshot?
Vol. down + Power.
- How can i get PIE + statusbar?
Turn navbar height to 0 and you're done.
First, thank you for your work, keep up it
Thanks will try:good:
Looks, good, but where is the Menu icon for apps?
Looks really good. My question is where is the in app menu icon located? I've tried a number of apps, but can't seem to find it. The one normall just right of the task switcher on the lower left menu bar.
Never Mind, found it in settings.
Really looks good.
Re: [ROM][AOSPA 4.2.2 JDQ39][PARANOIDANDROID 3.1] Unofficial Manta Builds (Mar 06)
Its built into the recents button. There is an option to remove it from there and make it separate. Open something that usually has it and look at recents. It should have 3 dots in there too so long press and yay menu

Not much at all. PA is so awesome that I'm not going to butcher it trying to add stuff in. I've been building my own for a while and since jaybob had issues his build machine I decided to share.
The only literal difference is : this one was up to date with PA github as off Wednesday night. Plus the other items mentioned in the op.

So with that said. If I use the stock browser instead of chrome, would I be able to watch a video that requires flash like cnn . if not what browser can I use

I don't think so Mopar. Once volume gets half way it doesn't get louder. . Can't wait until this issue gets fixed. Its a big problem for me as I love loud music. I'm sure it will eventually get fixed in the near future once ota is released.

So far I haven't run into any major issues. Been running for a few hours now. The only bug I've experienced was the same in the last build. The status bar color change doesn't stick after a reboot. Obviously this is not a big deal since one my device is setup, it is rebooted about once a day. Thanks for bringing this build back to life.

I didn't see it mentioned anywhere, and either way is fine but is this any different from the last KBizzle build, or is it the same thing, just ported into snipers name and with it's own thread? I don't really expect him to have updated it so quickly after picking it up, I just want to know if there is any reason to update.
Also, SO glad someone picked this up, I was worried for a little while. Good luck sniper.

This ROM is based on the Android Open Kang Project (AOKP). This was original made out of pure boredom and for personal use. After sharing it with a few people, we decided to take it a step further and turn it into something special while still having fun. Since then we've decided to share this ROM with the community and have ported it over to several devices to include the EVO 3D, EVO LTE, GNEX(toroplus), Nexus 4 and the HTC One
Since we do not take ANY credit for the original code used in this ROM we would like to give credit and just say thanks to all the teams and individuals that have helped us in one way or another!
The names below are in no specific order.......
| AOKP / Team Kang | CyanogenMod | Paranoidandroid | Preludedrew | Tomzefi | NYCHitman1 | Tommytomatoe | JMZtaylor | iBlowpot |ChaOS Team | Liquidsmooth |
| CarbonROM | Rohan32 | LorDClockaN | Dastin1015 | Bajee11 | SlimROMs | Ramjet73 | Sean8172 | Thyrus | TUN_SD | Daxxmax | Beerbong | Sammyycakes |

These posts, are starting to get old.
When will you people start doing research for yourself? HALO is not opensource which means it CANNOT be added to any other ROM including this one. If you think I'm mad, your correct. Most times 9 out of 10 when a feature like HALO comes out it would most likely be added to a ROM such as this because most developers make their unique features open source as soon as the feature is released BUT, PA does not Open Source features like HALO for a while for their own reason.
For those that do not like reading here's the quick version. HALO = Not Open Source = Which means no developer can add HALO to their ROM = Which means if you want this feature on your favorite ROM then ask PA to open source HALO, NOT AOKP, CM.

Finally, reboot back to recovery and install gapps of your choosing and, if desired, a custom kernel. Note that the official LiquidSmooth is EXT4 only. DeltaJen
DeltaJens are ROM upgrade patches that are usually less than 10 MB. The /system partition will not be wiped. Unchanged files, files you changed, files you added, and files you removed will be all be ignored.
NOTE: You MUST be on a specific OFFICIAL LIQUIDSMOOTH build to use DeltaJen. For example, 9/14 to go to 9/17. You CAN'T go directly from 9/14 to 9/22, but you CAN go from 9/14 to 9/17, then to 9/22.

Here is an Unofficial LiquidSmooth for Toro. Liquid is still working to keep our Gnex's alive. Rom is sweet and of course being Liquid is Liquid Smooth.
All appears to be working except Settings FC's on the volume menu.
I will try to post builds as Liquids git is updated as it pertains to Toro.

What are some safe kernels we can use with ART enabled?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I have used mpokang's kernel modified by metalspring for kitkat, should be able to find it in either the mpokang thread or metalspring's OmniRom thread. I've heard good things about tiny's 4.4 kernel. I'm at work right now if I have time I will look for and post the links.
Updated to latest twrp and keep getting error when flashing the zip. Have tried two different downloads now

Yes built in superuser.
OK this is weird. If touch the upper right corner of the home screen it vibrates and an appbar appears for like 1/2 second......
Wait if I hold down it pops out. I don't see any app bar options in settings. I'm confused.
I was using cover lock screen app and I just uninstalled it. Now the app bar is gone. That's what it was I guess.

I have seen that also, it looks as if "maybe" the liquid team does not have the settings in yet. This is all a work in progress. I am a bit of a flashaholic and kept trying to build from Liquids source until I got a good flashable build (couldn't wait for them to drop it). I was given permission to post what I build as long as I mark it unofficial.
I would assume there will be issues and possibly incomplete options along the way.I've been running the rom for about 24 hours and am very happy with what they have put into it so far.
