Started having a really odd issue where this loud buzz sound goes off like immediately when I get a call and my ringtone starts playing. It's annoying especially when my ringtone is a song and this loud awkward buzz just goes off right after it starts playing.
I thought it might be the Vicious JB 4.1 rom so I installed BB4.1 8/7 build to see if the rom was the issue and I'm still getting the same issue. I'm running franco kernal on Interactive with the minimum cpu for screen off at 729.
Any ideas what might be causing this? It just started about two or three weeks ago, really makes the phone sound cheap. :\

So since Dastin1015 started with the CM10.1 rom. I've been following it. The only issue I have is that the mic is way too low when I'm doing a call. Is there a possible fix for this???
Hello, there are two annoying issues
First earphone mic doesn't work.
Second no voice during call. It could be fixed by making dial out just after a new boot.
So anyone are there having the same issues? Any idea when they could be fixed?
Btw it is nightly build uptodate

Just wondering if the sound issue on cm 11 has been resolved?
To clarify, the sound on cm 11 is currently extremely quiet even after turning everything up on the dsp setting. Is there a quick fix for this as thats the only thing stopping me using it.

Can anyone give me any ideas on how to boost the call volume at all? I have the volume set to MAX but the sound is so quiet it's driving me nuts. It cant be me going deaf as I can still hear the wife
It used to be fine when I was on M2 of CM11 but needed to move to a newer version (now on nightly from March 14th) in order to fix a couple of other issues with GPS, camera and bluetooth.

Check the themes and apps section, I remember seeing a fix for the volume in there somewhere.

I also have the same problem since using CM11. When using the Samsung Stock Rom, the volume was much louder.
So what app should I use?
Did you guys find a solution for this problem? I have it too...
I found a workaround. Once the call starts press volume down button and then volume up. It works great. The problem is that you have to do this each and every single time...
Has this been fixed in M11?
