So I recently receieved a 4300mah battery from tmart.com for days when i just need that extra amount of power when i'm going to be away from an outlet for some time. The battery has proven to stand up to some of my heavy usage, which included MANY texts, a mixture of 4G and wifi, a lot of Netflix high def video streaming (2-3 hours worth), and well over an hour of music streaming via bluetooth. After some days of use, I've decided to throw up some average stats that I got, and I'm quite pleased with them!
First, here's some images of the battery to compare to the stock samsung battery. yes, it's a bit thicker, but it comes with a back door replacement. The back door replacement is kind of a pain to take off (since it doesn't flex like the stock one) but it doesn't seem too bad.

as you can see, it's pretty much double the size of the stock battery.
and here's my usage for the last day i've used it:
i probably could've gotten atleast another 30-45 minutes out of that 10% judging by how it was draining throughout the day. Either way, for the stuff I did with it, it was quite impressive!
for such a low price, this battery seems pretty damn good!
the only con that i'm seeing so far is lack of NFC. but of course, for a battery that's only around $8.00, NFC isn't to be expected.
other than that, it's a pretty good deal!
check it out here:
http://www.tmart.com/4300mAh-Extend...er-for-Samsung-I9300-GALAXY-SIII_p157061.html
check it out. $5.99...price drops? Really cheap.
More updates? How is the cover looks like in the phone? Is it awkward.
Looks good but I can get upto nearly 5 hours screen time with my standard batery and my setup as in my Sig.
What rom and all are you using?? custom kernel??
I have i9300 seems you have LTE version?
Are these the same??

Seems to be good, I decided to buy it
Has anyone gotten a wireless Qi charging receiver pad working with these bigger batteries? If so how'd you go about it?

found a nice bundle pack on ebay today, 12 dollars, comes with screen protectors which ill never use, a usb cable which is always handy, and more importantly, 2 spare batteries, 2 capacitive touch pens and external battery charger!
ive bought these chinese bundle packs before, the batteries work fine, cant tell a performance difference, the charger will charge the battery up to 70% faster than the phone can, but after that, it takes like 24 hours for the next 30% to fill up.. but blah, im really only buying it for the batteries

Yeah have fun, i wonder who will be the first dead.
exploding in your ear, while holding it in your hand, pwnd
unlikely, but who knows?
And who want to be the first to make this experience ?
I've always been reluctant to buy cheapo batteries on ebay for a reason.
In my Blackberry days (when I was a hardcore BBer) I could see the difference even if they said that they were OEM. They were copies of OEM, with printed lables that looked just like them. If the battery costs less than 20 euro (or lets say 25 USD) WITHOUT shipping OR it's coming from China, then I'd say no to it just to be safe. I just spent a lot of money on my phone. I'm not going to have it explode or have a battery leak into my phone just to save 10 euros.
My first and last aftermarket battery for my Nokia actually turned from white to yellow from the heat of charging and started bulging after a few months. After that experience, I decided to never risk my phone just to save a few dollars on batteries. After all, the battery is the lifeblood of the phone!
Hi guys i was looking for a external battery cover and found this
couldnt find any reviews
might be fake
could it damage my phone?

just google the title of the thread and ull find a couple of shop
seems kind of sketchy... i did a quick look around on it and can't really find anything about warrenty, returns or one single review :S personally i would not risk it. that's just imo.
What ever it is, the concept is nice. I would love to get such a cover if that really exists...cover + external batery with Off/On option is a great idea...
Look for 'EEB-U20BBUG' Samsungs original battery case for I9100.
Btw, this doesn't fit with the extended battery.

the samsung one is only 1300 mah...
but does it work with the extended 2000 mah battery
Hmmm ,I'm pretty sure I've seen one of those selling for about 25$ or something here in Baghdad.
I'm also pretty sure the capacity was around 1000 mah if the retailer is to be believed.
It looks Identical to this photo though ,with the power, button drawing my attention when I saw it.
Can't tell you anything about actual performance though as I'm already stuck with the over priced - under performing samsung 1300 mah power pack.
I don't think this is fake or capable of damaging the phone ,I've asked the retailer and he said that he tried it and that it's rather good ,and I don't think that he was lying either.
I dont think they have battery cover with that capacity... I found cases like that in ebay but the capacity are below 1650mAh
I'd definitely be interested in obe of those!
simple and great
a friend of me just bought this and it works awesome. its nice looking and battery is sooo much better
edit: its a bit different than on your picture
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/genuine-...0-extended-battery-power-pack-case-p28950.htm
mate ,this one is the original samsung power pack which is completely different.
I have this model and it sucks ,says up to 300 hrs standby ,when infact it will drain in about 8 hrs even when attached to a fully charged phone.
So tempted... but 54 quid is a fairly expensive solution to my battery woes.
I recently bought the Anker 440mAh for the very small price of £9.99

I was skeptical about buying this due to how cheap it is, to anybody looking for a cheap alternative, this is for you.
Click HERE to view the battery on Amazon (UK)
I've seen people saying some batteries will not charge or that it's slow. This isn't, I've charged it a few times and it gets up to the 90%~ mark and remains neutral, it doesn't slow down whatsoever.
I completely forgot to screenshot my battery use after a solid 5 hour Final Fantasy 7 session with still 60%~ remaining.
The battery fit isn't great, it does fit in but it could be a lot better.
The extended case is cheap, it's made out of plastic and very hollow. With the added weight no doubt it would crack if dropped.
To sum up, the battery is well worth the price depending on use. I use it for playing games when I'm just chilling at my friends house, so here's for those who are wanting something for a similar use.
I had this battery, but it was less powerful than the original... weird.
Having used Anker batteries and travel chargers since my s2, i can safely say they can have my money any time, they make affordable but really great products. There batteries certainly last longer than stock.

If it was, you had a dud. I have this battery and it works great.
WOW, 4400 mAh are good. The only problem is the expansion cover..doesn't look very well
But with 4400 you will have more power of course

The problem with the cover I had is that nobody makes a case for it. I'm using a Q cell cover with mine.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
I have this as well, the back covers they come with are not the best quality, and the battery is great, however it blocks the NFC capability. Ordered a Zerolemon 6300 Mah from Amazon a few days ago, should be here Thursday.
Hi, guys.
I've just replaced phone's battery with this "HSABAT 3800mAh" ... Everything is ok but I'm guessing the battery percentage info in system is adjusted to old 2300mAh value. I'm using AICP Oreo.
What I need to do in order to get accurate battery data??
Thank you in advance :fingers-crossed:
I think you have noticed by now that it all works without any additional settings.
However - i do not think the new battery is 3800 mAh - at least not in this phone (voltages). The battery tech has not evolved so much during these few years and the battery compartment physically does not allow so much energy. (you need to have certain amount of chemicals for any Ah).
Everything is OK, except for battery life... I guess this "HSABAT 3800mAh" was a rip-off.

I'm not sure if I should try another replacement battery.
It's a shame be forced to say goodbye to this nice device because of this.
Just buy a genuine battery, they are available on the internet (about $15-20). I have replaced my battery twice with full success.
Just stop and think a little bit before buying. Original battery is 2300mAh and your fake one is 3800mAh. How on earth you can pack almost double capacity into the same size battery? The same chemistry gives the same capacity in the same size. Simple. Forget about 3800mAh and if it holds charge properly just use your phone. Probably you still have 2300mAh in it.

You can use your current battery if it holds charges properly e.g. no sudden drop from 50% to 0%. I got my battery a year ago from this shop and it works fine https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32870459998.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.1ec633edTwqvQZ

Some will disagree but I find accubattery pretty accurate after letting it run for at least a week. For a battery with approximately 25% battery degradation I think you're getting the expected battery life.

which battery i can bye to replace it?
is it here something good to change it?
Many people who had the battery replaced can no longer fast charge. There is a thread on here about it. Most likely because the battery is aftermarket and to my knowledge oem batteries aren't available and the ones you find online that claim to be oem are counterfeit. You could replace the battery with a good aftermarket from ebay but no fast charging, or send to google for oem battery replacement if that's possible where you live.
