hi guys, i'm looking to find a long life battery MIUI ROM.. i love MIUI roms but the last ones are all low battery life..
i need one (even GB or minor) with long battery life.
thanks and sorry for my bad english, you can reply me in pm
You cant ask for too much. But if you're asking for a ROM with long life, simply turn to sir Arco's CM9. The CM9's battery imo is much more better if combined with the right Kernel.
You can install an MIUI themed launcher after that.

Hello, this is my first post.
I have a newbie question, which custom rom to use?
I don't need fancy stuff on my phone, i just need a stable and speedy custom rom, and good battery life.
Barebons, MIUI, Pays, CM 7 or ... ?
thanks in advance, and sorry for my English
If you want speed than go for CM7 and if u Eye candy than MIUI and if u want good battery life and stock apps than go for Barebones and Pays...
Thanks ifu, stock app are fine for me, I think battery life is most important thing. I know it depends on usage (data, wifi, bluetooth etc), but I was wondering if I could get 2-2.5 days out of it.
So barebones or Pays than.
Thanks again.
even the stock leaks on 2.3.3 is nice. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1106375
I say try them all yourself and see which is best for your tastes! Barebones gave me excellent battery life and Pays are a good choice also. IMHO I prefer Jboogie's liquid arc over Pays. But nothing compares to CM7 in terms of speed and coolness! But you say battery life is a major factor so I would try Barebones, Pays, or Jboogie3's roms
hi it's again me i have a simple question to ask you wich rom has the best battery autonomy using sense 2.1 ! gingerbread? Miui? or froyo please tell me what's the best thank you veryy much guys
No way to tell.. You'll need to try them out and find the ones you like/find least battery consuming.
I've seen plenty of people trying to compare battery life on different roms based on anything from feeling to sleep voltage numbers to screen battery consumption, and it just isn't anything to go by.. The numbers are completely random from device to device and from user to user(depending on how you use the device), so no there is no one great/low battery consumption rom EOS
I'll suggest oxygen as a nice and lightweight aosp rom, but try different ones out
In my opinion, Gingerbread(Android 2.3.x) Roms must be much better than Froyo(Android 2.2.x) Roms. And if you are looking for the Rom with the best battery, I may tell you that Miui is you last choice...
I know this is a pretty dumb and common question but i wouldn't have asked if i didn't need to ask it badly. I am leaving leaving my place for a month and i would need a longer battery life between charges because i will mostly be on picnic outside or doing something else where the connection won't be possible. Two things i would ask is that whether the LC ICS atm has good battery life because i had stopped flashing a while ago and i don't have time to go through every rom just to record battery life. Also how is the 480p on LC ICS compared to the 720p on GB roms because i will be recording A LOT from my phone. If LC's rom isn't that stable then can someone link me to a good GB rom with smooth interface and good battery life. By "good" i mean 8-12 hours with moderate use, is that a lot? and of course more is better.
EDIT: oh yeah, Mods! please don't lock this right away xD
Thanks a lot in advance !
This gotta be in the Q&A section.
Back to your question:
I would maybe recommend cyanogenmod 7.2 or ARHD roms.

I guess that CM7.2 is your call...has no sense at all, but works great and battery life is great. Take into consideration that battery life is not awesome in this device, but CM7.2 is not bad at all...also paranoid android is awesome, but is ICS and camera is not as smooth as in GB.
If not, you can try CoreDroid V9.4 or the Energy Rom...both have great battery life and no lags at all at least for me....

Hope it helps....
The best rom I ever had in terms of battery and smoothness was Bindroid. It's Android 2.3.5 and sense 3.5.
I don't have a link but you should easily find it by google.....

I am back to CM9, trying out the official Weekly's, just had too many issues on the various CM10 ROM's to use as a daily for now. I appreciate all the tough work the dev's are doing on CM10 for the One X right now, and with their blood and sweat it will surely be bad ass, and perfect in time, but I need stability and battery life first, so CM9 it is for now. I know a Sense based ROM would give the best battery and stability, but YUCK, can't stand the look and feel Sense or any UI besides good ol vanilla Android
Which kernel would you recommend best for battery life on stock CM9 ? And what setting ? OnDemand or Interactive ?
Or is the stock kernel from the 0923 Weekly the best ?
Thank you

I got the same question but can't find help from anywhere... i am on cm9.1 nozomi, and i got problems with battery draining faster than stock ICS even when on standby... so I've search if different kernels could improve my battery life. i really hope someone could help...
Hi All,
I updated my phone to ARHD 9.7.2 but i see a little help with battery drainage, have seen that some custom kernels can help with getting a better Battery Life.
Is anybody out there using the custome kernel and getting a good battery life.
Note: I use it mostly for calls and WiFi and some gaming it last me only 6hrs max :'(
Different ROM + different kernel = different result
You have to test it yourself and tell which combination is the best for you..
And for God sake there's no need to make another thread like this..
This thread belong to Battery Stats thread..just keep your post there..
All the best..
