So I'm using jmz one v stock Rom and I love it but I wanted to know is there a way to get the stock browser with a tabs button next to the search bar so I don't have to go to settings tabs etc, and also is there a way to make it so I can close all tabs like on the stock browser you cant close every tab but on cyanogenmod and other phones it's able to close every tab. I like when I open my browser for it to go to the home age and not the last thing I looked at and I love the stock browser and honestly don't wanna use a different app to use the browser. If there's no way it's fine but I just figured I'd ask

did not really understand the question, but if you mean you want an alt contacts app then try ExDialer... it comes with a customizable dialer and contacts app...

Android 4.2 keyboard - Youtube link
Download ZIP file, and flash it in recovery. That also means you're going to need root. as you'll be writing to /system/apps. Before you do, though, either back up the stock keyboard (if you don't know how, you probably shouldn't be doing this) or create a full image backup, just in case.
Here's that ZIP file:
Download
Enjoy
P.S.
Set a new keyboard as default.
On Android keyboard settings you have a text correction.... you must to download dictionary.
Without this swype function doesn't work.
Cool!

Just installed.. Doesn't look like the keyboard in the video. Is this a swype hack?
nicely done. would be better if there is arrows when you swipe the spacebar upwards like in gingerbread keyboard
This probably not working with Sense ROMs, anyone tried it?
i tried, not showing , where do i change in settings to get that keyboard .. not showing in settings ..
??
Same, I flashed it, using ARHD 9.7.2, didn't change anything

It works, you need to set it as your default keyboard! (the one that doesn't have (AOSP) written), cheack at your settings.
I'm using and it's the best keyboard since it's launch...
link is down

Great app!
Update: Also available in the playstore http://goo.gl/7djlm
v1.0.8 is the latest as we speak
Works on cm 10.1 ROM. Nice job.
Any chance of using them as additional notification LEDs since the actual one is a little too stealthy

Fantastic mod and app! Just what I was looking for!
As the developer of that app, I just wanted to chime in here. First of all, it was very cool to find this thread! I'm glad to hear that it was working for some of you. Second, I've done some work to make this app work correctly on the HTC One. If you'd like to try the latest beta version, please see the newly-created thread in the HTC One forums: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2402153. I'd really appreciate your feedback. Thanks!

Any change you could make it a cyclic 1x1 widget please? I can always find a spot on a homescreen for something this useful but rarely bother searching for an app.
Cheers.

Thanks for the idea. I've got an issue for this on the Google code page, and so should be implemented some day. I agree that it would be useful too.

Is there a APK out there for the new Sense5 Keyboard.
Or is anybody about to port this to the HTC One X?
The thing i like about the new keyboard is, that there a no arrows anymore even in landscape mode.
Use swift key way way better imo

Guys,
off course swiftkey could be better, but could you please answer the question? I mean, maybe somebody doesn't want 3rd party apps like swiftkey but stick to the default ones....
I personally don't know where you can find an APK for Sense5 keyboard.. should be somewhere on this forum though..
Good luck!
there are some sense 5 theme mods where you have the apk inside so it will be installed together...if you don't want the hole theme download it and extract the htc_ime.apk ...it should be in system/app/ in the zip...then just put the apk on the sdcard of your phone and then use a root file manager like es file manager or so take the htc_ime.apk and put it in system/app/ and set the rw-r-r permissions then reboot and you will have it
Doesn't it need the new sense framework?

i don't know if it is themed from sense 4 to sense 5....but it looks like it and yes for the real sense 5 keyboard we need the new framework which isn't that easy to port now...we need then just to wait for the official update it's just one or 2 months away from us

Any one know of any apps that handle multitasking like the Nexus devices do, or even better like how CM10 handles it?

The Nexus devices show a transparent floating list on the right side of the screen where you can swipe away open apps, CM goes one step further and gives you a button to close all open apps. The HTC One takes you to another screen with really small pictures of apps you swipe away one by one to close. Ideally I am looking for the CM version of that, or would even settle for the stock Google version.
Wait until the Google edition then flash that.

You see the whole part about me posting here is that I don't want to wait. But thanks for the suggestion.
TrickDroid rom has an option in its settings to change from sense multitasking to the nexus style you are referring to. Only thing is there is no close all option like CM.

Its a framework change. I've done it before on another phone. And by the way, you don't need to wait for the google edition. CM10.1 is exactly that with more features.

You'll probably have to ask someone to make it for you specifically, or Flash TrickDroid which isn't far off a stock rom other than some theme options
