[BOOTANIMATION] Galaxy S Bootanimations UPDATED: 15/12/2010 [CWM & DIY]

I made four custom bootanimations so I thought that it would be cool to share it.
You can only use the bootanimation if you use a kernel that supports bootanimations like:
Speedmod by hardcore, Voodoo 5.0.2 by Supercurio, Advanced Voodoo by trasig and z4mod by DamianGto
If i forgot one then please let me know.

Installation:
CWM: Just put it on your SDcard and apply with CWM.
DIY: Use Root Explorer, mount system as R/W and move bootanimation.zip to /system/media/

yes that is possible if you're a bit handy with a paint program you can do it yourself.
But why do you want to remove that text?

Hi, this is my first thread. Well, I have ported a playboy bootanimation for ya. It works perfectly on our Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini.
The bootanimation is under the attachment. Little tips: this bootanimation match with Virginity ROM.
Enjoy and become a PLAY BOY!
To have this bootanimation please follow these steps :
1-Download the bootanimation under attachment
2-Copy it to /system/media
3-Paste and overwrite the old bootanimation
4-Set permission to rw-r-r
5-Enjoy your PLAYBOY !

A big thanks to @iZylon for being my first tester & "reporter" for helping me.
Updated-I removed the background colour and change it to white colour so that the "white outline" will not appear anymore.

theres a simple fix for this problem just wiping cache/dalvik and fix permission after installing will make it very smooth

All that can be used form the Android L preview is the boot animation and wallpaper. Everything else needs at least API 20 to run, and apktool cannot yet decompile it.

Keyboard works though. Grab the flashable version in android apps and games section and flash it away. Set material type under advanced in keyboard proprieties.

If the flashable zip doesnt work try this:
go to designs and take the standart design/theme and after that paste the bootanimation.zip to
system/media.
u cant use the bootani if u use a custom design

you must be rooted have the right firmware and it should be deodexed best is with twrp recovery
if not deodexed delete the odex file

After using this MOD none of my other mods related to status bar works, all restored back to stock, I am using Asis ROM for s6 edge G925I.

normal..as this is only patched with the battery mod..ask the developer if he can implement it into his mod

@Alex-V Is that the Nexus dialer you're using with your S6?! And also, is this mod compatible with the Sprint GS6 (non-edge) running stock but rooted Odexed ROM "OE2"?

..no..but i would like if we can run that dialer...
but its one of the best themes that are out..heres the link.. (his themes would be in some time also in official themes store) if you dont like the icon kit..you can simple delete it (as i did )

I use the dark material theme too lol... I just thought it was the Nexus dialer for some reason.

the original still looks best..I hope we get cm 12 in future..simply porting is not easy because of Exynos

Would never use CM anyways. Camera is crap compared to stock. Not worth it IMO.

I've made a new bootanimation for our beloved OnePlus X. The animation contains a glitch effect and it was made using Adobe After Effects.

Boot into TWRP
Flash "X Glitch.zip" package
Enjoy!

Open Themes app
Go to Boot animation and select X Glitch
Apply boot animation
Enjoy!
Manual installation
Open your favourite file manager
Browse to system/media
Paste the new bootanimation.zip (and overwrite the old bootanimation.zip) and do a refresh in the file manager.
Apply the correct permissions: rw-r--r-- (0644)

Flashed via TWRP and the boot animation was there after pressing Reboot system. So no issues here.

Maybe the bootanimation on CM has a different location than OOS.
EDIT: The flashable zip works fine on RR, it should also work on CM. Maybe you applied a bootanimation from theme manager which overwrites the default bootanimation.

You should have the option to change permissions from your file manager. I'm using Root Browser and by long press on the file I can open a menu and select "Permissions".
