[USB DRIVERS] 4.0.1.002(most updated and official) - HTC One V

Htc guys greetings! I'd :good: to share the most updated Htc drivers upto 2/28/13. It must on C drive due to Windows terminal emulator is essential to flash a Slim w/ G-apps, TeamWin recovery and Hellboy, TK kernels I recommend guys to install into your PrimoU, within fastboot files contained. Moreover EXTRACTING HIM ON C:/Android IS THE BEST DUE TO I HAVE PUT THIS LOCATION INTO THE EXTRACTING PASSWORD. It's a SevenZip archive so plz install the SevenZip v9.30-alpha(most updated) in x64 from his official site.
My drivers is working moreover on alternative Htc phones which MUST BE COMPITABLE WITH Sync Manager.
Unfortunately, and I'm :crying: on my drivers which is operating on the Windows 7+8 in x64 only, because I'm using a PC on Windows 7 x64 and Htc must provide just driver files which are equivalent to my system officially.
Thx to have fun with your PrimoU and ask me on these anytime!:highfive::victory::laugh:

Is the ROM rooted or was your phone already rooted when you flashed it?
I already had that RUU on my phone (before the 2.3.5 update) and it wasn't rooted for sure. Back then I used the normal procedure for updating the phone but I don't see why it should be different to extract the ROM and flash it via HBoot.
As I said its not very special . The Rom is rooted (my phone is s-off). I put the extracted rom (from the RUU) in the android kitchen. So there are some extra option like a2sd. The bennefit is that you can use some tools that need root. You can even use setcpu and underclock for longer battery life.(use perflock disabler option).
If the phone is s-off its better not to use an RUU you might destroy the S-off.
Thanks mate, Using this as my base for SenseMOD V2. If you update to 2.13...
Can you do that? I need a solid base for SenseMOD since I don't have the ROM.
Extracting from RUU seems to dangerous then since I can't test. That's my handicap....
Left a thanks in advance!

Maybe someone has a link to the rom only deodex?
Thanks in advance for your help.
For some reason I have the feeling "downloadmanager_Setup.exe" isn't the ROM file I'm looking for.

I think it's one of those download manager type deals, you download the download manager and the download manager does the rest of the downloading..............which I honestly think is always fishy

My 'download manager' is called Google Chrome. It's so good it even downloads the 100% legit 'download manager' that I apparently need for this ROM.
I'm never going to open an executable I get from the internet when I'm not expecting it. Especially when I expect a ZIP file.

I'm good dude! I was just popping by to grab a ROM for a friend who owns this phone and wanted an unrooted but stripped down version of stock.

[Q] hwo to port rom/dev?

ok so i extracted a rom from a ruu, but now where do i start?
what do i need to extract from the rom.zip? i know i need system.img but what else?
Which RUU did you extract the ROM package from? Is it from the Evo 4G RUU, or are you porting from a different device's RUU?
Might I suggest downloading a stock updated ROM and look how /system is set up? The most basic folders of a ROM would be /system and /METAINF (this contains the scripts for the ROM to be flashed and .apk to be installed).
Are you planning to theme? Do you have ADB set up (Java installed beforehand)? I would suggest looking for PapaSmurf's Everything Android thread and downloading the tools there.

Ah, ICS Sense. We currently don't have a kernel that will even let the phone boot. We are missing valuable libs and drivers, and the fact that the Evo is EOL'ed doesn't help, so we won't be getting updated packages. It would be nice if HTC dropped kernel source for ICS, but alas, they have not.

If you would like to continue, I can look for some links to decompile the images.
While it is not impossible to port, it would be very difficult. Some drivers might have to be written, considering Sense 4.0 uses ImageSense or some nonsense like that. An ICS kernel source drop would definitely help, especially for the lowest-end One-series phone.

if you could find some links that be great. thanks

The Primo doesn't have Sense 4.0; it has 3.6. It's got a single-core, 1GHz CPU with WVGA resolution, and the ROM size is only around 300MB. I think this IS the lowest end ICS One series phone, but it'll definitely be a while before the source drops.

[REQ] can anyone port this wp7 rom to wildfire

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1458227

i think most of us think 2 try wp7......

This ROM isn't WP7, it's just "themed" and by themed I mean it has apps that look like WP7 installed.
Just download the ROM and extract the .apk files that have something to do with the WP7 looks and install them?
i saw a similar version for the galaxy mini which is themed as well but may aswell try it or fun
i know that it is just themed but i don't know how to port a rom...
and how to make changes in framework...

Are there any major differences that you know of for doing this on a Mac? I could do a Parallels Linux boot, but I'd rather not.
i have no idea dude....i dont think there's much difference...you will have to google some of it i think
If you can't download the entire source, type in terminal
regedit manifest.xml
And then remove stuff whose source you wouldn't require...
This would shrink up your 11gb source...
Excuse the errors, if any...

As far as I know, you need Linux to decrypt the RUUs first, as HTC Now encrypts them
