I see that there are some apps like Dev Tools and Spare parts, that was already in CM 7 and as I need more space I was thinking of removing them but I am not sure if they will cause problems afterwards, does anyone know if it is safe to remove them and will not cause any trouble?
You can delete them . no worry

Hi there.
I where in the need of a list of included Apps in official HTC rom that can be safely removed and couldn´t find any list with descriptions so i wondered if anybody have such a list so it could make it easyer and less fustration to remove apps you don´t want in the roms without you having to reflash 100 times to figure out what ones can´t be removed without making it buggy.
so does anybody have a list of Safe to remove apps Perf. with descriptions of what the apps does/is for?

Dude - are you sure you should be removing apps if you don't know what to be removing them with. No disrespect, just saying.
Anyway, if you want to remove apps, I assume you aren't talking about just any old app ??? Because of course, you can just uninstall apps within Settings, Applications, Manage Applications on vanilla Android.
If you want to remove system apps and stuff that can't be removed in Settings, Apps, ..., then you need something like Titanium Backup (I'm sure thats what most would recommend). Again, if you didn't know this already, I would recommend reading up on it. It needs you to be rooted, which isn't a problem if you read the threads on here. It also needs some know-how about what is safe to remove (see here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1089470).
If you just need to get rid of bloatware, you could flash a cleaner firmware that doesn't have lots of useless apps (I'm thinking of all the apps included in the France Orange firmware).
I hope this helps.
I'm an AOKP fan. As anyone knows, this is one of the ROM's that are frequently updated. Problem is, every time I upgrade I have to re-flash Gapps and also remove all the unwanted apps all over again.
I end up removing about 15-20 apps every time I flash an upgrade.
Is there a script or something I can create to take a ROM zip and automatically add only the Google apps I want and remove all the apps that exist, which I don't want? Something other than doing it manually every time?
I've never made a complicated script before. Not quite sure if it's what I need or how to make one.
If your interested in setting up a gscript script I could probably do a quick tutorial for you. I used to use it on CM7 on my dext to get rid of unwanted system apps. Let me know and I'll shoot you a link to the tut I did on Simply Android.
I am looking for something similar to sdmaid but for not rooted phone. Can someone give me suggestions?
You can't access /system without root...
Swype'ed on my CM10 Galaxy Nexus
Ok, I understand that I can't access /system without root, but I was thinking of some app that will clean as much as possible of the leftovers of uninstalled apps. I hate when the phone gets full of leftovers from apps that are not on my phone anymore. I don't know why the system (android) is functioning like that. Why files and folders are left on the phone when the app is already uninstalled?
Someone

What you are looking for IS SD Maid .
SD Maid will try as hard as it possibly can without root, but as previous posters mentioned, some things are just not possible without root.
It's not like devs say "oh, lets give those things only to root users" .
Find 7 rooted and running on GUMMY
