As the title says, is there already a port or someone working on a port?
I'd love to see that for my nexus and I guess many others too.
If not, would someone like to take a look into it?
What do you think about it?
(i think a full rom would be great too, but that will most likely never happen)
no one interested in this?
Oh how the sound of crickets is relaxing... Lol

I didn't know what Zoe was.
HTC says, "HTC Zoe gives people the ability to shoot high-res photos that come to life in three-second snippets. These Zoes, photos and videos are then displayed in a unique way that brings the gallery to life and transforms the traditional photo gallery of still images into a motion gallery of memories. These highlight videos can be remixed or set to different themes, and can be easily shared on social networks." Found on knowyourmobile.
Its the cam app from htc one?
Sounds cool enough.

The ROM hasn't been leaked or dumped by anyone yet, so this is a bit early.
Would be great if someone would be able to make a port of Zoe!

Yep, and just software (impressive software!!). So... anyone???
Guys. No one is willing to give the time to port this since it requires the framework from Sense 5.
Sorry to sound negative but that's how it is. I haven't seen any ports of anything here(Motoclock, S Note, etc)

If I have helped you.... hit that sexy thanks button. ^_^
Just got Blinkfeed from Sense 6 working on my phone last night.
Installed it from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2696399
Works great and I love it.
I installed the HTC Service Pack that went with the download (v7), but I couldn't install Zoe Camera, HTC Music, HTC Gallery, or any of the other apks.
If blinkfeed can be ported I would think Zoe could be.
Sweet
Its in the play store i believe. Now for more devices

Hi guys,
Well i was on my mates nexus 1 the other day and i went into his gallery section and found it was different to htc layout, i dont know if all of you have played around with the gallery on nexus but its pretty neat! nice 3d layout, pinch to expand tiles or hold on tiles, i liked the whole setup.
Anyway i was wondering is there any way i could get this gallery instead of htcs' own ui one, not that the htc oneis bad, just like the nexus one better.
Anyway im on a debranded htc desire 2.2.
Thanks.
here ya go, just install it like you would any other .apk

Cool, I saw this on a video and thought it looked cool - does this replace the HTC one or install at the side of?
Just want to know before I install so I can remove if it's taking up too much space... internal storage is at 19mb free

what a great find indeed, it removes the problem for blurred images when opening in the original gallery.
thanks for posting.
I used that for a while, but even when using the 3d gallery with the "fix" I found that the default gallery show pictures at a better quality.

first time i see my desire struggling to process
If only there was a car dock apk file to install to the desire.

For the longest time most Android camera apps are incapable of auto adjusting exposure to suit the touch-focus area, a feature that's found in HTC Sense camera and iOS camera. Not sure if this has been mentioned, but I just realized that this feature has finally been added to Jelly Beam on GNexus!! For this feature alone I'll stick with Jelly Bean instead of AOKP ICS.
Just wanted to share this as I thought some might find it useful.
Cheers.
--
Edit: I'm really surprised by how many people have absolutely no idea what touch-exposure is. The keywords are highlighted in red above. If you still have no idea what it does, borrow an iPhone from your friend, try touch-focus a few different areas with different brightness levels within the same view, you'll know what I'm talking about. Sadly most people don't even know what they are missing out....
This is awesome if true!

Of course, but until then, this makes it easy for me to choose between AOKP ICS & JB.
another feature I miss in camera is the pause button while recording video, unfortunately this as not been added

im running JB but how do I use it? is it just an auto function?
I think it's automatic... uh "touch-auto-exposure" is in the name. Wherever you touch on the screen automatically applies the correct exposure.
You can also take pictures while recording video, just tap on screen.

I'm always baffled why Google didn't implement this earlier. iOS and HTC Sense have had it for a while.
And guess what, even Galaxy S3 still does NOT have this feature..
better known as touch to focus :silly:
I'm confused. What exactly are we talking about? Does touch-to-focus do something it didn't do before? And autofocus doesn't do it?
I think Touch to Focus was absent in AOSP until JB. I used it today without realizing it is a new feature, works exactly as it should.
How come the .gifs I download don't play or animate? I kinda find it ridiculous that a BlackBerry can and this power machine can't, I love my S3 to death, I don't know, maybe I'm doing something wrong. Help please

Because the default gallery sucks?
Animated GIFs work in QuickPic -- a much faster & better gallery.
(animated gifs also work in the stock browser & chrome)
It is pretty amazing it doesn't handle gifs.
Hey, installed 4.2 on the GN and love it so far. I also love the new camera interface, but hate, hate how I can't preview the pictures immediately after I take them any more?
Is that normal? Is there a workaround for this?

Thanks dude. Another question, I recently copied all my photos from my other phone into the DCIM>Camera folder, but when I view them all in the gallery, they are not sorted by date like they were in my old phone?
I'm assuming it goes by file name or something, but is there a way to change that?
Help, Nexus 7 & Android nerds! The just-pushed Google Play Music v5.0.x is utter, unmitigated crap. It looks like someone ate a box of orange creamsicles and vomited them on my tablet, it is difficult to navigate playlists, and it's hard to differentiate between music I actually have versus what they're trying to sell me especially if I'm using it on the move.
I want to downgrade to the last version, but I'm new to android and have only gotten rooting my tablet down so far. I have a .apk of v4.5.9, I have root access, and I have Titanium installed. But I do not know how to make all of the above result in v5.0.x being nuked from orbit (its the only way to be sure!) and the older version working in its place. Also concerned about blocking further "updates."
Just unistall the update like you would do with any other app...
Instead of "uninstall" there is an "uninstall update" option.
There's an inverted one already too. I didn't like the orange and white either. Lol

That's one of the craziest things I ever heard. The new update is one of the best designed apps on Android, period. All the gestures make it a breeze to navigate. I think I would actually vomit if I went back to the old version after using the new one LoL

Total agreement. This guy is crazy.
Yes yellow is ugly, Ill load up the darkened. But my wife uses spotify and can sync/cache her playlist on your phone, like from WiFi, how can this be done with this?
Hopefully orange and white isn't the new KeyLimePie color scheme.

Hopefully they're just using different colors to distinguish the apps and the holo light ui. Google Play Store was green and white. Equally as bad in my opinion. But as long as there's great themers like the ones in Team BlackOut it'll be great

I have most of my music on my laptop, so I installed Google Music on that, once its synced you can stream it through data or WiFi to your phone or whatever device. I think you can sync multiple accounts too.
I honestly have no problem with the way it looks, but it functions rather poorly. I literally rotated my nexus 7 and the whole app just gave up while trying to change orientation.

Uhh maybe because
Green = apps
Red = movies
Blue = books
Orange = music.
So yeah the music app is always going to be orange.

I made this account just to agree with the OP. I had to say something about this, I am actually shocked there are so few who are..
He is right, this is horrible. It was so much easier to use before, I don't need a picture of every artist and so on.. Just a bunch of fancy nonsense.. I simply want to listen to my music and find it easily. I notice things like recent albums is missing which I used a lot to find new music I uploaded easily, is it really just gone? Or am I doing something wrong? Before I never had to use the search function.. Now I do which sucks. The orange color is awful also I mean horrid, I don't know how you go from grey and black to freaking orange.. I hate it, it reminds of that horrible Cingular Wireless orange icon..
I personally would take green over this sherbert orange any day.
I really wish I payed attention to the update, not like I knew they would do a complete overhaul ruining the entire app for me. I really don't see how anyone thinks it looks better or even functions better but to each their own.
I thought it was completely fine the way it was. Reminds me of when iTunes was ruined.. People can't just stick with what works well.. Anyway just my take on it. I absolutely loath this new update.

Thanking the gods for this.. Black is all I need.. That orange honestly makes me sick.
I agree as well. The new UI I think is horrible. Never mind the look and colors, etc. The general setup of the UI took a turn from the worse. Most the people I have talked to feel the same as well.
Honestly, I would of never bought the music I bought if I knew they were going to IMO destroy the app.
didn't really like the old one but it worked but new one is just terrible... are there any other reliable 3rd party Google music players?

Or.... you could try out ZPlayer.. Noozy is just ZPlayer illegally hacked and rebranded hence why it's no longer available and is highly controversial.
If your into that kind of thing of course.
