Hi!
I'm new here!
Recently i installed the latest version of Froyoloco on my LG P350.
In just 2 days I got 3 kernel panics and many times the phone just freezes.
When i play a game or listening to music the screen freezes and the touch buttons under the screen begin to blink, the only option I have is to remove the battery.
Is there any fix for this? I followed every step from the istallation guide.
What you recommend me to do?
One more question. If I have to reinstall another ROM is there any way to backup may applications? I have limited data plan and I can't redownload them.
Thank you!

Good Afternoon,
I flashed my phone with a bunch of stuff a few weeks ago, and it's been running spectacularly, but the past few days, I've been having some issues getting my phone to boot completely. ADW would keep force closing, and my phone would randomly reboot, and I'd sometimes need to battery-pull to restart it from being frozen completely. Also, my volume buttons no longer work, and the screen occasionally goes 4-split screen from the keyboard opening ( I'm assuming flex ribbon ). Now today, after the the splash screen, the phone screen just goes black and stays like that. From reading around, I think I know what the problem is, but I was wondering if anyone more knowledgable could give some insight as well, specifically, if there's any chance it could be a software issue and **crosses fingers** not a hardware issue. I attached what I could get of the adb logcat.
Also, if it helps, here's some info about my phone:
Rooted & S-Off, with newest radio
Rom: nickmcminn60's XM-8 Vr 1.1
Kernel: Miguel's
Mods: darktremor A2SD & ?Firerat's? Custom MTD Partition
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
1) don't use Miguel's kernel with these latest builds.
2) did you fix permission with rom manager to help with fc's.
3) I don't think this will fix the screen issues, that's is mostly hardware related.

Thanks for the help! I hadn't done fix permissions yet, as last time it somehow broke my rom. Unfortunately, I tried doing a nandroid backup first, yesterday morning before trying fixing permissions, and after my phone finished and rebooted, the phone just froze, and I couldn't reboot into recovery ( my volume buttons don't work ), and after a few reboot attempts, my screen died. I'm going to try ADBing into it tonight if I can.
In case I can get it fixed though, what kernels should I be using instead? I tried drowningchild's, but I seemed to have fewer issues with Miguel's.
Use stock cm kernel when using cm roms if using sense I believe nbetcher has a good kernel

Hey everyone!
I installed CM 10.1 and so far I am really happy with it. My devide runs finally smooth again and the overall experience feels great.
BUT sometimes when I open a new app the device freezes.
After a few seconds (around 20-40seconds) the device does a soft reboot (cyanogen circle appears again until the lock screen is visible again).
This "reboot" doesn't fix the problem.
Once it freezed once, it freezes all the time afterwards.
The only fix I have so far is to do a complete reboot of the device or sometimes even wiping the cache.
Then the phone works again until it freezes (which can take sometimes quite long til the first freeze).
After installing CM10.1 over CWM, I installed the gApps and then did a full wipe (Cache + The other thing).
Anyone knows how to get rid of the freezes?
Thanks for your help in advance!

Hey guys,
I talk for my girlfriend, because I mod her phone. She got a Desire Z. We rooted it, installed cwm (phone bought brand new and s-off) and flashed lots of firmwares. We stucked at the mildwild rom (gingerbread) and it worked perfectly. After a few months she decided to switch the rom and we had everything, from jelly bean to kitkat and we decided for the coolos gingerbread miui. The phone started getting slower and it had many force closes and I wasn't able to modify the launcher as she wanted (I wasn't able to fix all issues for landscape, if anybody knows a solution, please tell me) and we got back to the mildwild. But the random freezes didn't stop. We've got the following issues:
- if she installs a specific office app, the phone stucks in a bootloop
- phone randomly freezes
- issues are the same, even if we change to another custom rom
what we did:
flashed several roms and wiped dalvik cache
what we not did:
we didn't took a look into the logcat and we didn't try to flash a stock rom again.
edit: actually we record with CatLog the logcat.

logcat recording finished. Because of a missing pc, we recorded it with an app and I splitted it to 2 files.
I see nothing special, just some crashes in go launcher and miui lock screen...
We've got a new log (smaller one)
At the time of 16:05, the screen stopped reponding. If you turn on the screen, you can unlock it and do everything you want, if you got in the launcher, everything stops. You can change with the home button to another app, but you can't do anything in the app. It rotates without problems and you can make whatever you want in the lockscreen, but somewhere else nothing happens if you touch on the screen.
Also we've changed the Launcher from GO Launcher to Acelauncher.
Lockscreen: Miui Locker
CM version: 7.1 vision
Kernel version: 2.6.35.14-cyanogenmod-g8090e84-dirty [email protected] #22
Rom: MildWild CM7.2
time of issue: 16:05
So i updated my sm-t210r (worst decision ever) and instantly began noticing bugs one of which is my apps stopping at random even system ui and touchwiz home. I used the latest philz touch recovery did a clean wipe and flashed nolekat`s rom and the same thing happen apps keep stopping, so i did a test i flashed the same rom in the same exact way on my sister`s tab (not updated) and what a surprise everything works great on hers, no random stops, great battery life, even the screen and graphics are more whiter than mine, so i concluded that its this 4.4.2 updated that is causing all the problems. So what i ask of anyone is steps to completely downgrade romoving the new bootloader in the process, i already tried flashin the old 4.1.2 through odin but all the issues remain, any help or tips would be apreciated
help guys no matter how tedious the process i really want to downgrade and remove this bootloader
Hey guys,
i have been using Ivan Mehler's cm 5.1 rom and since early this year i am on his 6.0 rom and everything was fine until mid june. Since than i have the 'sleep of death' syndrom (phone won't wake up from deep sleep until hard reset). I can keep it from freezing when i stop it from going into deep sleep via apps like 'Safecharge' or having muted music playing in the background. It could be a hardware issue. I have dropped it twice pretty hard, once in 2014 and a second time 2 weeks before the sods started. Else it runs without issues. I reverted to a backup, installed another cm 6.0 rom and reverted back to stock, to no avail.
First, how do i best diagnose whats causing this?
And secondly, are there any leftovers from older roms that could interfere when i install a new rom via twrp and doing a complete wipe including reformatting the file system etc? What i like to know is whether when installing the latest stock rom via odin, does that mean that every bit on every storage/memory of the phone is being completely wiped and newly written, or are there some basic parts of android/linux that would not be touched?
