All,
Any updates on 4.1.2 OR 4.2 Update for the Note II LTE (GT-N7105), as the updates are out in other markets.
But, here in the UK, with EE, nobody seems to be talking about them ..
Also, will N7105 with EE, get updated to 4.1.2 Or will it straight away get updated with 4.2.2?
My Phone is very new (1 week) and not rooted and I don't intend to root either, atleast for a few months.
Go to system preferences - > about the device - > software update –> check for updates
Then will put your device on the download qeue sure many successive updates to reach 4.1.2
Later (6-9) week maybe available 4.2.2 on some networks just check once at week since then

Anyone had recieve the OTA 4.0.4 IMM76D in this days? It's seems that is not available anymore...
Anyone knows something? like...when it's going to be available again or if someone got it in this days without using "trick"?
It should be available? Have you tried going to your applications list, selecting all apps and scroll down to "Google Services Framework" and wipe its data? Might have to do that a few times for it to work.
I have read Android 4.0.4 is currently rolling out via an over-the-air update to Galaxy Nexus phones. The Android version of my Galaxy Nexus is currently 4.0.2. I have been checking for a new version over the past weeks through:
Settings / About Phone / System updates / Check now
but it has always being saying that "my system is currently up to date". Is it normal I didn't get the 4.0.4 version yet? Is there maybe anything else I need to do to "activate" it?

They halted the IMM76D update because it has radio issues. That's why there's a new OTA to IMM76I that fixes the issues. Chances are they'll just resume it and push people straight from 4.0.2 to IMM76I.

Read above. Also, if you're not a "yakju" device, you probably aren't getting it yet either way right now.
My sprint gnex came with version 4.0.4 build IMM76D.

Cool story?
Here's the complete link:
http://www.slashgear.com/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-jelly-bean-rollout-begins-24248924/
...and an excerpt...
"Samsung has begun pushing out the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S III, with users in Europe reporting that the new software has showed up through the KIES update app. The 282.5MB update includes Google’s new Project Butter interface acceleration and support for Google Now, though is being pushed out via tethered upgrade rather than OTA (over-the-air) tipsters told AllAboutSamsung."
Wait is almost over!
Dear All
I currently own a Galaxy Nexus GSM phone. I bought it here in the UAE from Samsung. I installed the Android Info app, and found that my phone is a yakjup build phone. I am having difficulty getting the update for jelly bean that has already been rolled out nearly 5 months ago. I am wondering if someone can specify a link to an easy guide or specify instructions to follow so that I can change my phone to a build that can receive the updates automatically OTA from Google.
Thanks

1. Search
2. Follow this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1626895
In short, your build is still on 4.0.4, if you want 4.2.1 you'll have to change to yakju/takju
Got a 100mb update today. Flashed it.
Anyone with a source that says what it actually did?
are u sure i have no update what rom do you have wich country?
Stock, Norway wifi model.
Are you sure it's not the minor update from 3 weeks ago?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2725654
They did release a minor update (+-100mb) 3 weeks ago, not much changed just some under the hood tweaks for some apps
My wife's fully stock (4.4.2) N5110 started getting update notifications from Samsung Software Update.
Per the info, it's a 7.61 MB 'device stability and bug fixes' patch that includes security enhancements and StageFright fix.
Is there information on everything installed with this patch?
Will installing this block any future attempts at root / installing a custom ROM? (If she ever lets me; this is solely her device and doesn't care about root/ROMs )
Since this is a wifi only note8 - how vulnerable is it to stagefright if I don't patch? Everything I've read says 'stagefright is more than an MMS vulnerability' but then the details only go into the MMS vuln :|
Thanks in advance and sorry if this has been covered elsewhere - I searched and didn't find anything.
I noticed the update today and decided to install it. It did not take very long to install and the Android version number is still 4.2.2, so it doesn't seem that there is anything major. I have yet to notice any changes, but I haven't used my tablet much today I should note that I am also using the wireless version of the Note 8.0 and I have never rooted this devices.
If I learn anything else I'll post here.
It's too bad that they didn't decide to bump things up to 4.4.4 (could use those Bluetooth fixes that were introduced in 4.4.3) while they were at it.
Anyway, I just noticed that there's a new stock rom posted for the USA variant on Sammobile.com and samsung-updates.com. So this is officially "a thing." Haven't flashed it myself yet and I probably won't; I've moved on to Cyanogenmod 12.1. But it's nice to know that Samsung is still pushing out updates for this thing.
