hi...
is there anyway i can use Headset profile (phone voice) with a jellybean rom? i tried liquidsmooth and rootbox but they both seem not be able to resolve it.
From what I've seen, there is no JB rom (on XDA at least) that has Bluetooth HSP working. Sorry.

I have a problem with my Bluetooth headset Jawbone Icon with all firmwares on Android 4.0.4 with Sense 4.x.
For example, last Sabsa 10.1, I pair my headset with the phone, it works fine with music or video players, but the do not send any voice signals while talking. My opponent can't hear me and I can't hear him by Jawbone Icon.
Instead of this my old headset works fine, it is Nokia HS-4W.
Nokia HS-4W has Bluetooth 1.1 - works fine.
Jawbone Icon has Bluetooth 2.1 - does'nt work while calling.
Has this trouble a solution?

Watchout for changing roms.
In this Your BT connection failed (wierd, my car phone set connects, and I can talk all the time) but in another, like R29 cm10 based ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1778202 YOU'RE NOT ABLE to change GSM NETWORKS MANUALLY. So it's worse.
In http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2003273 there is still no BT developed...

Bluetooth headset issue fix (no call sound):
Delete your headset name from the list /system/etc/AudioBTID.csv
For example, for my Jawbone ICON i deleted the string "Jawbone ICON,1411,1511"
Now my headset works fine, I can call and speak through my headset.
I'm looking for a ROM that has working Bluetooth play back and working Google Search voice commands.
The stock ROM has perfect Bluetooth playback but the Google Now voice recognition (or any voice recognition) doesn't work over Bluetooth. It just never initializes then eventually gives an error saying can't reach google at the moment.
I tried CM10 4.2 and the voice recognition over bluetooth works but audio playback is crackly and sounds awful.
Does anyone know of a popular ROM that has both these features working and stable?
Thanks!

Thanks. I took a look at the AOKP thread and according to his FAQ "Bluetooth is not perfect - Task knows but it is not on top of his priority." and "Strange sounds (alien like) reported using bluetooth." along with other Bluetooth concerns.
I've read good things about AOKP but it sounds like bluetooth is still very experimental on that ROM

Bluetooth works just fine and as it should. That's never been a problem. It's not experimental. It's streaming via bluetooth that's the problem.

Hey, thanks for clarifying Task. When you say streaming, is that the same as playing music via bluetooth?

Yes. But there is a fix for that in the form of a flash able .zip to take care of that also.
Any updates? Are there currently any ROMs with full functional BT?
Anyone?
I seem to have the best luck with bluetooth with ROMs based on stock:

I've had my phone on CM9.1 for a while. I want to update to a newer ROM, but I host a 3-way call each week using my wired headset. Can anyone confirm whether any of the newer ROMs (10.1 experimental, provision, baked bean, etc.) work with a wired headset and/or 3-way calling. I'd greatly appreciate the info. Thanks!
I don't use those features so I'm not sure myself, sorry I couldn't be of more help. You can always make a Nan back up in recovery then flash those roms and see.
Does anyone know of a 4.2.2 ROM that has working 4G/LTE and supports Bluetooth AVRCP?
(I.e., when you play music in car over bluetooth, you get artist/track info on your dash.)
Last I checked only TW had this, CM was working on it ...
AVRCP for 4.2 roms
Same issue for me as well. Using the recent version of Liquidsmooth hoping it had it but not so much. Such a Debbie downer in the car especially when your ROM kicks ass. The quest continues.
I have been using the Google Edition ROM (4.4.2) on my M919 and things seem to be working great.
However, on calls, my call receipients notice a huge amount of echo/noise when I use Samsung bluetooth headsets WEP460 and HM 3700.
I tried a regular wired headset (Sennheiser CX275), and things work great! Even my car's built-in bluetooth from circa 2007 (which I believe has noise cancellation) works fine.
Could someone please give me some suggestions on apps to install or settings I could tweak to fix this issue?
Thanks in advance!
