Kinda I would say.. But I just ran thru all the setting in there.
It's pretty much, Google+, Google NOW, Google Maps, but takes you right to there setting instead of opening the app up.

Hmm. I have none of that garbage. Might disable and see how it goes.

Ok if you have none of that then just uninstall it. No need for it. But you do use Google search right? I'm quite sure it's just some add on to some app..
Ok after doing some investigating.. You can't uninstall it. If you go into setting the scroll down to your accounts click your Google account. And the same functions come up that's in that so called app.. hope that helps YOU

it seems like it is a place for the settings of google apps at one location. in mine, it shows setting for google maps, google + the social app, google search, google ads, and settings for google location. you can change settings for each of these 'separate' apps all in one convenient spot is what it seems like they may have done here with this google settings 'app'

I was actually hoping to see this when I first tried 4.2 with GNow and lost 45 min - 1 hour screen time on average. ..it just needs to be inverted with a dark icon

How do I see running Services

Anyone know?
Settings - Application manager - Running?
Settings > apps > slide over to running
From there it will tell you how many apps are running then how many services each app has.

How to get YouTube HD on Mobile Data?

I get it hd on wifi no problem. When I try on Mobile Data, it just goes as far as HQ. I have unlimited 4G and like to take advantage of that and my hd phone. Stock jb no root.

I think you'll need to sideload a modified APK. There are some floating around XDA.
I'd need to do that without root, is that possible?

Meaning it's under the system apps? It should overwrite it. If not try disabling it under settings and then installing the apk.

Simply download the Gmail app from the market. This is the right one, you just have to enable the option. It is NOT enabled by default.
While in Gmail
Menu>Settings
General Settings >> Check Auto-fit messages <<

new google translator app from s4

http://db.tt/B82lbNcp
Works great on rooted note 2
Just flash in recover
thank you but just a heads up id reccomend making a mirror to that because dropbox will suspend your account for a couple days if enough ppl download that at once
What's different between this version and what is available now?
Mac
How does the Google translate on the S4 differ from the latest update on Play store? The ability to download language files for use when not online finally makes it a useful tool.

If the developers here can't do it then I'm guessing it can't be done
Its a great idea though

An example, copy and paste one document to another... I am sure there are better examples but can't think of any off the top of my head. ..

I'd use it to have 3 XDA Premium apps opened. 1 for each of my devices. Much easier and quicker then having to go back and forth through my saved Favorites.

This would be good then I could open all the car forums I have saved up in tapatalk.
