T-MOBILE UPDATE DECEMBER 2005

Hi,
i just surfed around the t-mobile web-page and i saw the december update. (don´t know why, but i wasn´t there for a longer time).
From the pdf-documentation it seems, that the update contains the following versions:
Win CE: 1.20.34
ExtRom: 1.20.118
Radio: 1.06.00
Are there any known problems or is it safe to upgrade ? Right now i have the qtek-rom installed .. which one is better ?

It's probably presently the most advanced, stable and fastest ROM. I use ist since about 3 weeks w/o any problem and can really recommend it.
Had QTEK, O2 and i-mate before. Of these, QTEK was the most performant until the new TMo ROM came up.

i've asked the t-mobile netherlands helpdesk if it will also be available in a dutch version, but haven't heard back yet.
I'm affraid to try it, because i once flashed my MDAII with a german version, and then the language was changed also.
Can anyone confirm if we can use this file on english devices?
(I've got a dutch t-mobile mda pro, but i think that any WWE version would work then)

Probleme mit MDA Pro
Ich habe seit dem Update nur Probleme. Das gerät läuft instabiler, langsamer und hängt immer wieder fest. Das schlimmste ist, dass es oft anrufe einfach nicht signalisert. Ich rufe an... es ist frei.. doch der MDA Pro macht absolut nix...
Seit dem Update ist er für mich absolut wertlos geworden, da ich fast jeden Anruf verpasse und er absolut nicht mehr zuverlässig funktioniert.
Außerdem sind alle alten Fehler immer noch da.

ich habe ein großes Problem!!! Ich habe mein HTC one x schon mit etlichen Roms ausprobiert und jedesmal das gleiche Problem gehabt.
Ich möchte unbedingt den neusten faux123 oder Franco Kernel (faux am liebsten) drauf haben um bessere Performenc zu erreichen; Sprich ich will einen übertakteten Kernel mit mindestens 1,7-2,1 MHz haben. Ich würde gerne das meine GPU Lesitung steigt und ich besser Tegra 3 Spiele spielen kann. Wenn es da andere bessere Kernel gibt nimm ich gerne Tips an
So und nun mein Problem:
Egal was ich versuche, ich kann nie einen anderen Kernel drauf packen als den des Roms!!! Egal was ich versuche!
Also ich weiß ja inzwischen wie ich Flashe: fastboot erase cache...fastboot flash boot name.img aber es nützt nichts!!! Sobald ich einen neuen Kernel geflasht habe und die moduls drauf gepackt habe und ich mein Handy neu starte fährt er nicht mehr hoch. Er kommt immer nur bis zum ersten HTC Zeichen. Ich weiß nicht ob es etwas damit zu tun hat aber nur mal erwähnt, habe ich Hboot 1.36 und mein Handy ist auch gerootet.
Könnt ihr mir sagen ob ich etwas falsch mache oder woran es liegt? Am liebsten würde ich wieder Paranoid Android drauf haben, aber wenn ihr mir etwas besseres empfehlen könnt bin ich auch gerne dazu bereit
Bitte helft mir ich bin schon nun mehr als 5 Tage an meinem Handy ohne Ergebniss!!!!

I am using this ROM from @Spezi77 since yesterday and it runs pretty smooth.
The only Issue i recognized: if someone calls me, the display stays black for some seconds and after that it shows me the caller.
Can somebody help me or tell me which settings i have to change?

I followed the directions to install @Spezi77 but I found some problems:
- The home button does not work
- The key does not work quicktiles
- The standard browser closes immediately
- The LED does not work
- The notification bar does not show anything; incoming call, apps installation, whatsapp's messages whatsapp, nothing
Too bad, because the rest is the fastest and most stable ROM I've ever tried.
Also strange that the same device with the same ROM to behave in a different way; In fact, other users have reported the same problems.

There have been quite a few reports about delays with incoming calls for other kk roms (CM or Carbon: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2658853&highlight=call+delay&page=22) as well. In my opinion this is a general device specific issue. There is no solution yet.

About "The key does not work quicktiles" I mean that when you pull down the status bar and tap on the right icon, nothing appears. So is not possible for me enable pie.
But the most annoying thing is the status bar that not show nothing.
About the home button and standard browser, have you some trick or suggestions on how fix?

I don't have the issues described by you on my device. Seems like sth went wrong at installation time. Try first to reinstall the ROM.

GOOD NEWS! There seems to be a solution for fixing the problem with the responsiveness when an incoming call occurs. Please checkout the hint posted by @Robbie P for the HTC HD2 (which is the big brother of the HTC Desire).

Dasaita DAB003 adapter problem

I have just installed my dasaita px6 android 10. I ordered a DAB adapter and Fakra Z adapter cable to connect into my cars existing Ariel. I cannot find a built in app on my HU to use for DAB stations without using my WiFi hotspot.

Hallo zusammen, habe vor ein paar Tagen ein p20 lite gefunden und würde es gerne benutzen. Da ein Look Screen eingerichtet war, war es für mich schwer in das Handy zu kommen. Habe es ein Bekannten gegeben weil er am lautesten gerufen hat das er mir das auf Werkseinstellung zurücksetzt. Fazit ; Das Handy wurde zurück gesetzt aber das Handy verlangt von mir das vorige Google Konto. Ich kenn die Person nicht also kenne ich das Konto auch nicht. Jetzt meine Frage, gibt es eine Möglichkeit das Handy so platt zu machen das ich es nutzen kann?
Was soll ich zum Handy sagen, USB Debugging ist aus und wenn ich es am PC anschließe.
Früher hab ich mal mein Sony Ericson ARC S geflasht und gerootet aber damals war das alles einfacher.
Kann mir jemand helfen oder kann ich das Handy direkt ausm Fenster werfen?
