Thoughts on a two part rom?

I know a lot of people like the stock look and feel and others like the themes and mods. So my question is this: What are your thoughts on a nodded stock ROM with a flashable theme if you choose to use it?
I thought it would be something different, not new because its an older build, but an idea anyway.
What do you think?

Been thinking of doing this. But there are already a few stock'ish roms out there. So I've just separated into themed roms and themes generally. I do like my tweak kernel combo, but don't think its worth making a stock
rom out of it when we got TD whipping up re-calked so nicely

I haven't been on ICS in a few weeks now so I doubt I'll go back is anytime soon. Aokp, cm10, paranoid android jelly bean all run so smoothly its rediculous

I just happened to be in Q&A and saw this. Have you seen my rom, LightWeight? It has a stock option as well as three themes (blue, green, and red) which have some options as well. I'm planning on adding more colors.

I recently got with whitehawkz via twitter and he gave me permission to release his juggernaut rom with updated files, mods, tweaks, apps etc. Who would be interested in this?

I don't see the point in reviving any thing ginger bread but to each his own. There are a few people up here who can't get Android 4.x.x working on their phones as sad as that is, I'm sure they'd appreciate this.

We do appreciate the hard work developers contribute to our Hercules community. Other users preference is not a weakness.

I'm up for it. This seems to be the one rom that my phone works the best with and battery life is fantastic. I've tried several ICS roms and while I really like certain things about them, for whatever reason, they don't always play nice on my phone.

That would be great i was thinking about trying the ROM out I got my phone right when ICS came out for this phone i would love to try it out

I say rock out with your **** out bro, and do it big once you do it. Juggs was perfect as it was so adding new tweaks and glamour for sure will make a force to be reckoned with. I say ride or die!!!

I think it's a good idea I would at least keep it as a back up. I prefer gingerbread over Samsung ICS

Need help on rom

So I'm trying to build my own rom. I'm being taught by some of our devs and have learned some stuff along the way.

Stock/aosp lightly themed. I'm not a fan of ROMs with elaborate themes. Probably why I love Darkside evolution so much. That's just me though..

Just installed via droid life. Not bad, looks a lot cleaner and smoother. FYI the droid life link for the download is also in the Themes and apps section.

Making your own is much more gratifying. I don't have time to make/port one but I have thousands of icons/images/buttons, if that'll help. What color Alienware theme did you have in mind? Lol "I'm Wanting"

So did you make one? That screen shot looks really good. If you'll share those images I'll see if I can put a theme together. I'm working on a white one, but I like that. By the way they are ROM specific so shady ROM are we talking about?

I haven't tried that Rom yet I'm currently on Carbon Rom. I tweaked a few things but that's not my build. These are the Icons I used not mine but I will reach out to who made them. I have about 1200 of these Alienware icons, when I get home I'll zip them and share them via Dropbox. Are you making a Cm10.1 Theme?
