Hi!!
So the new X-Gamer 1.9 update came out recently and I'm running the version 1.8. Do I have to restore everything before installing the 1.9 rom or
can I just install it via clockworkmod with everything on my phone as is? And also, there is a patch for this rom to be support the Xperia Pro but
the file's name is "PatchMK16iV1.8.zip" so I'm not sure if i should install with 1.9. Is it safe to do so or the developer needs to update the patch?
Thanks again for you time!

Hi all,
My phone is rooted and has an unlocked bootloader, but I tried to install this rom today:
MooDeD ICS ROM v.4.0 / xUltimate v7.0 Engine [ROM]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1526717
But I forgot to flash the new boot.img (new kernel), wich I had to install using flashtool. Now I can't normally boot my Arc (I can understand why), but I also can't get into CWM recovery! So do I know have to flash the new kernel wich I had to do before.. or can I get Android 2.3.4 somehow back on my Arc? And if I flash the new kernel for ICS can I flash it back to the kernel for Gingerbread afterwarts? The new kernel is based on ICS beta btw.
I hope you can help me
Everything is working very well since I flashed the ICS kernel I am now running Mooded ICS rom v30.5 without any problems (few bugs in the rom, but overcomable)

I figured that flashing ICS kernel and install the rom again worked when I had flashed the kernel I could get back into recovery again Thanks for your reply
does the DoomLord Kernel work on a ICS rom? Or does it has to be the ICS kernell by DoomLord?! on other words on ICS Roms the kernel has also to be based on ICS?
That's correct as far as I know has to be ics

I don't recommend doomlord because it's a bit buggy, but there are plenty of usefull kernells. To make ICS work you will need ICS kernell

Just installed baseband .72 + the libs for it, anyway after i flashed bb72 i keep getting this "Authenticating..." issue when connecting to my own wifi
i waited a while and at the end it said "authentication problem..." any fix?
NOTE: my ROM is Arconium ICS (Stock 4.0.4 FW.431)

First of all from what baseband you have upgraded? What kernel are you using? Usualy all kernels have wifi modules asociated with them... so my recomandation is reflash wifi modeules in CWM. If you have changed kernel and before you`ve had doomkernel, you might need to reflash (from scratch) the Rom also !
Iv upgraded from .56 installed Arconium ICS and flashed .72 as well with the 72libs.zip through CWM, im using XArc v2.0.431 kernel for my arc s
and before i had CM7.2 (GB) with the default FXP kernel for it... btw i dont know if im sure or not but i think i didnt have USB debugging enabled when i flash the bb72.ftf
i also flashed the libraries for bb72 through CWM after i flashed the .ftf
Do a fresh install, and don't flash the libs. They are already included in the Rom.

Hi guys!
I have an Xperia Play on ICS 4.0 Beta with nom bugs for a While,
When I Booted it up one day, I entered the recovery mode and installed a ADDon for another ROM, the "NXT Xperia Play Rom"
was an Addon to see the percentage of the batery
after installing it, the phone begun to Boot Loop after the "Xperia" logo that was installed togheter with the other ROM, the NXT.
Ps.: After the Boot, I installed SETCPU for the ICS to work Better, and Overclocked it to 1,4 Ghz after some tests.
I think I don't need to mention that I have the bootloader unlocked and I've tried to redo the Installation ROM metod ALL the way, even the Kernel (DooMKerneL V3) along with Wi-Fi Modules and Fixes.
If it has a way to uninstall and App or a Addon onthe CWM or anything that doesn't need to boot up to make the process, I think I can delete the addon and/or the setcpu, that should be the reason for the boot loop.
PLEASE HELP!
(sorry for the spech errors)
Thanks! :crying:
this is NXT addon !
not ICS beta addon
You installed a GB framework on ICS, that's why bootloop! Restore the stock framework will help.

Trying all the things Possible, i've tryied to restore to the Stock 2.3.4 firmware with the Flashtool and the tft file, gracefully worked!
I saw the reply to the post now, since I've been idle from the computer since yesterday, but hey! Thanks for the Atention guys!
I'm sure that this post will help future members and novices on the ICS and ROMs threads!
Xperia Play Fixed -> Android gingerbread 2.3.4 / DooMKerneL V14 OC'd to 1,4 Ghz running like a thunder!
Ps.: I've tryied to install the Beta ICS 4.0 again, but this time it didn't work.
The log on the Fastboot said "partition too small" or something like that, I Don't remember now what exactly was wrote, anyway.
I'll stay with the 2.3.4 version for a while.
THANKS AGAIN!
i have Xperia Pro running on XUHD 3.0.2 by jader, stock kernel( or whatever kernel is in jaders rom), heavily modded and tweaked phone, i took a cwm back-up then reflashed a stock firmware(with kernel)(just to test something) then after testing I restored it already
Question: is there a difference between the newly restored one and the one before i flashed the firmware?

I think they are the same...

There is no difference because they're running on the same kernel (stock .587)
Hey every! My Xperia Pro is running Gin2Jellybean 2.4.0 and advanced stock kernel. If I flash Baseband77 from to my device, could anything bad
happen? Gin2Jellybean is GB based and the latest baseband for GB on xperia pro is 64. Can anything go wrong if I flash a newer ICS baseband for
my device?
Thanks!!

It will work fine, though certain baseband-related differences may occur (I am not sure, which).
