Lp sense Ui is great and highly customisable and Go launcher has also got many features and transistions but can be buggy but you can actually overclock (ask me about this is you wasnt any help) and go to 900mhz which might make it better!!

Holo launcher is beautiful but not smooth

Atrix HD circle 3d wigdet

i found the circle 3d wigdet of atrix hd
but none of them work!!
the circle widget is only compatible with atrix hd launcher.
can anyone please make the circle wigdet compatible with s3's stock launcher???:fingers-crossed:

Me too ... :/

just download the "One More Clock" widget from the Play Store... and select the Circles theme.... it's FREE

i cant get it to work either just do what the previous said download the proper launcher...or ask a dev to create a new launcher:silly:

one more clock widget get it free from the play store, and use the circle theme

I think Samsung too going like Htc sense way!
we know stock weather widget from S3 also not working on other launchers.
any one tried to fix this....

One More Clock - Circles theme. Then modify the widget to go to weather when temp is touched and the alarm/clock settings when the clock is touched. Magic.

it works only with atrix launcher.... u need atrix launcher to make it work on s3

I'm running the nexus at normal speeds 1.2max - what launcher do you guys prefer? I'm not huge into tweaking so a few options would be nice but I'm more concerned with the launcher running snappy

apex or nova are the better

I vote Nova. If you go to the settings and get the beta version (1.3b5 at the time of writing) it's even better, with the Jelly bean code rewrite same as Apex.

Holo Launcher HD + Holo Launcher Plus. Works great for me without being too over the top with customizations. Always runs snappy for me as well. No problems.

I'm using Nova Launcher and enjoying so far. I didn't try other launchers yet.
And i'm not into tweaking that much either. I'm all stock running Jelly Bean 4.1.1 and rooted. That's all

I bought apex, tsf, and adw but all I use is golauncher. It is the smoothest one of them all for me.

But I have Holo HD and love it, is simple and fast

Question: other than a nice UI and all, whats the benefit of using a nova or apex launchers? More free ram? Faster?
If its sits on top of stock doesn't just collect more ram? If so can one replace the launcher completely?

Stock is the fastest of all if you only care about speed.
Other than that Nova and Apex are almost as fast too(specially Nova), but with customizing options

Nova no doubt. It is way faster than stock if you remove the animations. It gives you the option to speed up/down the animations and transitions and by that you can make the phone blazing fast.

I just got my Nexus 7 and im very happy with it! I wasn't sure if there was a topic about sharing home screens already or not but It would be nice to see others creativity so I can get ideas on setups for this large screen!
Here's mine Simple:
Rom: Clean Rom3
Launcher/Theme: Nova Launcher Prime and Vexillum
UCCW: Sense4 Clock Mod

It used to run pretty smooth in my Arc S. Very good launcher, but I prefer Nova Prime
