I think this app with 2 kind of sending without wifi direct
1)
Code:
Device B run app , on thether and on nfc
Device A on wifi and/or on nfc
Device B with nfc send command to device A to start wifi (connect to theter)and go in browser in one link
Device A can upload files in device B in this webpage and viceversa but device A cant see the files of device B for privacy
2)
Code:
Device B run app , on theter and on nfc
Device A on wifi and/or nfc
Device B show to device A the files that you select before in a webpage and device A download automatically all files
I search a developer

KH3/KG3/KG6 E-Mail APK for device-administratorless Exchange access :)

Hey guys,
just thought i'd share this with you. For those who don't like corporate control.
This Email.apk should pretend to the exchange server that device administrator is active, while not really enabling it.
While configuring your Exchange account there will be a message that device administration will be enabled.. If you press OK you would normally be shown the permissions needed by the device admin and be prompted to confirm them. This screen won't be shown anymore. You can also check "Settings/Location & Security Settings/Select device administrators", which will show an empty list now.
Have fun.
EDIT: KH3 version added
EDIT2: For all those curious guys in here.. The patch is that easy actually.. I'm too lazy to make a diff so..
The file that needs to be changed is com/android/email/SecurityPolicy.smali:
You need to find this method signature and change the first boolean constant:
.method public isActive(Lcom/android/email/SecurityPolicy$PolicySetZ
.locals 12
.parameter "policies"
.prologue
const/4 v7, 0x0 <- just change this value to 0x1

That's it.
Fantastic thank you
But how do I push this on to my device? Tried to install via ASTRO but Email app already installed and can't reinstall over the top!
Any help appreciated!
You need to place it manually in /system/app after removing the existing Email.apk AND Email.odex. I have to look into making a CWM-package.. Until then you'd have to place it there manually using a mobile terminal app or ADB.

Unfortunatelly, doesn't seem to work.
I used the older 2.3.4 email.apk with bypassed security before this one, and it worked fine (replaced in root explorer in system/app/, no odex as I'm running Cognition 1.31).
Upon creating account, asks for security changes, I click Accept (or activate), it asks me to create a password. No way to choose "None" for security settings.
Email doesn't update, says error connecting to server due to security settings.
EDIT: FIXED. Weird though - when renaming Email.apk in Root Explorer to Email_Orig.apk, it kept the reference to it, and when setting up account, it didn't use the new Email.apk, but still used Email_Orig.apk (even after reboot).
Complete uninstall of Email.apk, reboot, copy new Email.apk, then setup the account - worked.
Worked for me using Root Explorer (moved stock apk and odex, copied new, rebooted, reconfigured Exchange account, done).
Thanks!
Yes.. You need to completely wipe Email.odex and Email.apk, place my file there and reboot. Or if it doesn't work out, better reboot twice (After deleting and after placing the file there)..

You may need to reconfigure your email accounts.. If you delete the apk in /system/app and reboot afterwards Android would possibly wipe the userdata for this app.. Not my fault
Thank you so much much for this awesome MOD. Its working flawlessly on VR2.3. Please keep this mod alive further. Its very useful.

WiFi hangs when switched on

Hi folks,
Since last thursday I've got a problem with my WiFi on my wildfire. Every time I turn on the WiFi (via not. bar or settings) the little box is ticked but it does not scan or anything. A couple of seconds later I get the message that the WiFi process in the settings app is not responding together with the option to kill the process. Is my WiFi broken now? Or is there a fix?
Thanks in advance
P.S. I'm using CM7 7.1.0

Reflashed the radio, still no progress It just wont find any wifi networks and after leaving the settings app the WiFi is turned off automatically (or the app hangs and the same happens) Any other suggestions?
By the way, WiFi-Tethering does work. Still confused about this weird problem :S
Try this in a root shell (enter "su" at the prompt) with wifi enabled:
ip link set up eth0
Though the name might be different on your rom, it's commonly named "wlan0" (eth0 is usually a physical ethernet device). You can find out by running
ip link show
With wifi disabled and enabled, see what new device comes up or disappears. It doesn't hurt to test a name, as long as it isn't "lo" (the loopback device).
After setting the link state, re-scan for APs.

Could you explain these steps? I'm not so familiar with terminal inputs and especially IP adresses. Whats more strange is that my Wi-Fi disconnects automatically when leaving the Wi-Fi menu and that it doesn't show my saved accesspoints (once connected but not now). Isn't this a software problem?

Sure, here's the html formatted manual page. A relevant excerpt:
ip link set - change device attributes
dev DEVICE
DEVICE specifies network device to operate on. When configuring
SR-IOV Virtual Fuction (VF) devices, this keyword should specify
the associated Physical Function (PF) device.
up and down
change the state of the device to UP or DOWN.

When the device is down, it won't scan. Some ROMs have a different tool installed as /system/bin/ip though, just typing "ip" will tell you.

The saved networks aren't shown when wifi is turned off. It likely fails to enable the device and does this before attempting to read the saved networks, as this should never happen it might be related to the radio firmware on your phone. See this thread for the list of radio firmware versions. As for disconnecting when you leave the WifiSettings activity, wait a bit longer to see if it stays connected. There's definitely no intentional disconnect in the onPause handler.

I've tried your steps. When setting the IP link to up after switching on WiFi and then enter 'show' i get a whole page of numbers and complicated text, but in each line the State is specified as 'DOWN' or 'UNKNOWN'. It also says something about a loop? When I leave the terminal then to check if WiFi is still on, I find it turned off. When I turn it back on and then let the terminal show, sometimes I get 'DORMANT' and sometimes I get 'DOWN'. I also tried your suggestion about leaving the client on, it stays on for about a minute before it automatically disconnects or gives me the message that the system app is not responding. My radio is already up to date (I even reflashed it twice). And what was that link 'WiFiSettings activity'. I came to a website with lots of code and got immediately confused . I hope this problem can be solved....

This is the RFC2863 state of the interface which is seldom relevant, the actual link state is between < and >.

That would be the loopback device. It is always present and its parameters are the same across nearly all Linux kernels, one might be funny and try to change the mtu, queueing discipline or address but it's pointless to do so.

This could indicate a problem with wpa_supplicant rather then the radio firmware. Try to connect to an open AP such as the ones at the local Bakker Bart, NS station, McDonalds or T-Mobile shop.

Go to settings > Wireless & Networks. Disable this option

Tbh I have no idea how to fix this because you might not have the same issue as I did.
When I had that it was because I skipped my google log in. Normally if you are logged in, google play knows what device you have. What I did was just logging in.
In that case, if you are...then I can't help you, sry.

hey i have the solution : go to your wifi settings then long touch on your connected wiirless > modify network config >show advanced options > set proxy settings to manual then :
proxy hostname: 72.64.146.136
proxy port :43
save and restart your phone
if this helps tell me if not i m sry then
use vpn and change your server to other countries (using different ip adress)..
just get "ANY" apk from the internet and install it on your device, make sure it is an old version (optional), then go to the play store and hit update. It will register the apk to your account and you will be able to update the apk.
If you have root, inside the csc folder there are these files:
customer.xml
default_workspace.xml
others.xml
sales_code.dat
all can be open in notepad, just change the country code to your country. (refer to samfirmware.com and search for a ROM with your country info, then click on it it will give you your 3 letter country code).
Then put the files back into csc folder ("/csc/"). Make sure you have backups.
Try this application market helper

Ok. Sorry, but I'm not running that version. (Didn't want to bother with backing everything up in order to update and then do it all again in order to revert back when the official update came).
Hopefully someone can get you what you need. I think it would be ok to ask it in the thread with all the server links though. At least, I don't see why you can't since it is definitely related.
