Hi i have searched and done what has said in various forums i have a xperia play r800i on 2.3.4 its unlocked and rooted everytime i put sky go and hide root etc i get the forced to stop message how do i get past this message so i can watch sky??

Was trying to root my Xperia Arc after updating to 4.0.4 using a method on the Sony forums (won't let me post the url, google "{Guide} How To Root Xperia™ Smartphone Running ICS"). I got up to step 4, turned on my phone and a message popped up saying "com.android.phone has stopped." then the same happened with contacts, messaging and it removed a load of the apps, such as music, galley and camera. Have I completely f****d over my phone or is there a way to fix it.
Reflash a stock ROM with the flashtool.
I recently rooted my Desire Z but now Google play won't install apps (When I attempt to install anything it always says "no connection" even after retrying) and also it won't recognize my already purchased apps, The only way I found to temporarily get rid of this problem is to select "Uninstall updates" to get it back to the old market that came with the ROM, Then it will both install and recognize my purchased apps until it automatically updates itself to Google play and then it it starts having those problems again!
Can anyone help me with this?
P.S. I already rooted my phone once before (And then had to get it replaced due to a hardware problem) and back then it didn't have this problem!

It's been a week since I could not sign in to play store. I've tried to factory reset by cwm and in setting of the phone but to no avail.
It's says "can't establish a reliable connection to the server" .I'm only using wifi. My other phone Sony Ericsson X8 have the same problem
I can log on to google on my pc and on the stock browser on my phone. By the way I'm on rooted stock rom only. Is there any way I could sign in to google other than installing custom rom?

just curious... can still sideload? i tried but it doesn't let me select any Google account. just tries to load and load. i did a permanent root and still the same. using ARHD ROM.
