Just noticed when going from the 2/22 nightly to the 3.8 stable Voodoo app becomes incompatible.

You try any other AOSP ROMs that have been stable like Root Box? I'm thinking of giving Carbon a shot.

Man I wish I had my 64g SD Card, as I feel my current "4 class 8gb" just won't cut it on CM, etc and I'd hate to not have these AOSP/etc roms using the Sd card for app support (size/speed wise)
Ultimately I'd love to be involved in this conversation, but sadly must wait a few more days

Just Thought id share. The skyrocket roms work on our phone too. Just flashed the Alien ROM just to see. Everything worked fine, granted there was some att crap in wifi settings that is useless to us, but at least we know we can use their stuff too. I also flashed jugs kernel with the rom as Im sure the kernel is different, but maybe not. Anyway, just wanted to let you know. Oh, they just got an ota to 2.3.6 yesterday, ill post the system dump here in a few. Hopefully the devs will move to that base.
*I thought I'd throw a zip similar to what they have together. I think this zip will do the trick. Give it a shot and let me know if auto rotate is still borked. I dont think it will be but I have CM7 setup and working audio so I dont want to ruin that Let me know and Ill fix issues if there is any.

By the way, the Alien ROM for the skyrocket kicks ass on our phone. I flashed it with whatever kernel it comes with and I've noticed a reduction in the stutter.
It does have a an issue with our accelerometer it seems though.

The Alien Rom is excellent as far as I'm concerned, if we could figure the orientation issue out, it would be just about perfect.

Really, no one can give you a straightforward answer without knowing what it is about the S Pen you want to keep. The air view and the like? If so, JediROM has those TouchWiz features as I recall. Otherwise, just about any ROM for the SGN2 will work.

NFC Issue
I've rooted my GNII, I'm still with the stock ROM, and have GoogleWallet. I have an NFC that happens every so often. Mainly when I run my camera app, music player app, and GooglePlay. My phone will freeze for about 5 secs then a window pops up saying "unfortunately, NFC service has stopped". I have tried multiple "NFC Fixes" by flashing them in CWM and manually moving the files in Root Explorer with no success. GW works fine along with everything else. It's just horribly irritating. If I flash JellyThunder, will this alleviate the problem?

What Rom are u on#1?
And have you tried this yet?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1766475
And I'm wondering what caused your problem in the first place. I bet it's how you got Google Wallet working on your stock firmware. Because I seen something b4, about changing/fixing your nfc file.:what: In order to get wallet working! So I didn't try it. And when Jelly Thunder came out and said Google Wallet worth no problems. I was very excited, with everyone eke that wanted it.
So all that being said: I WILL SAY THAT I HAVE NOT HAD ANY ISSUES WYETH THIS ROM WHAT SO EVER!
So I would try to do a clean wipe of your system. Then install the Rom and give it a few days to c how it quirks out for you. OR you can just wait for the NEW RELEASE COMING SOON! !

I've decided to give carbon a try and in all honesty I don't see any benefit of it vs jedi/tw roms. Camera has no low light option, and its rather important to me; call audio is just terrible, scratchy. Besides, i like all that Samsung "crap".

Well I tried flashing them all. And to my dismay, there is a BIG problem. I can't download any apps until I clear the play store and download manager. Then I have to download them all manually. Different strokes. I like being on the latest version of Android and Wolfson audio is better than anything out there. I have no call issues. I have had 3 Nexus devices b4 this one. I prefer AOSP.

I'm running Task650 AOKP on my S4 and I love it!!! I wish it did have some features Paranoid Android has but I am about 97% satisfied.
I'm thinking about flashing the GE Rom but i'm not sure I want to lose all the extra features that I get with a custom ROM.
Make sure you read the change logs and all the features to make sure its what you want.
Try Moon Rom version 1....touchwiz, floating windows, and tablet and Hanley mode...n7105 Rom working great on T-Mobile...I'm also using devil kernel and recovery dual boot, so I can choose my paranoid Rom on the fly when I want to.... best of both worlds...

That sure nails it down.
They point out :
The update will bring with it some new features along with fixing bugs. Owners will be able to resize apps, change their colour and their layout.
Welp, I can do that already with Roms that are built they way they should be out of the box.
CarbonRom with Crossbreeder and Xposed installed is insane.
I may flash back to be able to receive the update.
But it'll probably make me want to kick my own ass, and I'll restore back to heaven.
EDIT: Then again, I wasn't thinking. Once Team Zodiac and our other quality devs get their hands on the 4.2.2 source, the heavens will open up more.
Is everyone pretty much just waiting for Sammy 4.2.2 to leak?

There is a fix zip to flash after rom on the next page of thread from the link. Otherwise you will get phone crash if you dont flash the fix.

I'm not sure how in the world a stock Samsung/AT&T 4.2.2 Rom is going to outperform CarbonRom or Beanstalk.
And no I'm not looking for a debate about AOSP and TW Roms. Just an opinion.
The release date of 4.2.2 is still unknown for Note 2.

And after all that all I have to say is one simple thing Spen.
I am running AOSP right now the alternatives for the Spen are still nowhere near the seamless integration on a TW Rom, no discussion there.
If you dont care aobut the Spen then sure, who cares about TW Roms.
I get improves fps on games and benchmarks with the current ROM at the cost of some spen functionality...I wish i didnt have to choose.
Err..... did you even read what I wrote?
I got a note because of it size and spen. I still can use it just not everything is as seamless as with tw ROMs. In fact I may just go back to one so no idea how you interpreted what i wrote that way seriously....

I can't make the change because of the problems AOSP ROMS have with Bluetooth. I use BT a ton, don't want to have to do without.

This is what is so frustrating. If I could just use the most basic functionality of the phone I would be on 4.2. I have tried several, but have no choice but to return to 4.1 so I can use my phone safely in the car.

I use bluetooth in my car all the time and ive only used aosp roms and they all work great. I don't miss the s-pen at all. But I didn't buy it for the s-pen I bought it for the battery and the non-pentile amoled screen.

How do you place a call from bluetooth? Every 4.2 rom I have tried does not work for placing a call over bluetooth. This has also been a know issue from what I have read. Is there a fix?
