Hello guys
Can you help me please? I have a problem with unlocking bootloader on my phone. On this phone I can get root easily and many times, but when I try to unlock bootloader, my phone turns into a brick after rebooting. There is no access to recovery and other functions(after LG logo - black screen only) and i can use my phone ONLY after restoring my phone by KDZ. Can you please help me to solve this problem? I am stuck and bricked my phone 10 times a day :crying:
Oh, and sorry for my bad english
Are you using the freegee manual or application method?

Hey guys,
I have tried to search for this but I couldn't find it anywhere. Can anyone tell me if this means my bootloader is locked or unlocked?
I want it to be locked because I need to send it back to LG for some touchscreen defects, and yes I didn't even take a look of the locked bootloader before unlocking it.
Thanks for helping!

Best way to be sure you removed any trace of unauthorized modification is tu use kdz updater and a sdcard wipe, after you backed up all your stuff.

I recently bought a E987 Argentina edition in Personal. I need to know if I have any way to know if it's safe unlock my bootloader, because I've heard that many device like mine get hard bricked when used freegee and there's no way to revive them.
Thanks for your help and sorry for my english.
I heard about something called KDZ, if my phone get bricked trying to unlock the bootloader, can I use KDZ to revive my phone?

I unbricked mine with KDZ UPDATE.
I recommend you to use the classic mode to unlock the bootloader with FreeGee.

You probably need to unlock the bootloader, both in dev settings and again with fastboot. fastboot will wipe data

It's been a while since I used Fastboot.
Do you know the exact commands to unlock the bootloader?

Regarding root access, this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-k10/how-to/root-lg-k10-420ds-t3479902
Explains how tho get root on a similar phone like LG k10 using kingroot. Other members have told me I don't have too unlock my boot loader before attempting too gain root.
Do you know if there is any truth in that?

No you don't need to unlock your bootloader to root your phone. Some devices need it.
I bricked my phone while replacing KingRoot with SuperSu. I don't trust Kingroot, removing KingRoot method for LG K10 for now.

If you stop at "Your device ia corrupt... " Just use LG Bridge, works well!

unlocking the bootloade voids your warranty.. only way is to send it to LG... or used the modded KDZ to disable big cores... in case you ncaat fix it. or get new motherboard..

bootloop not software but hardware... but you could try flashing KDZ using LGUP. ive seen some claim theirs worked after flashinf stock firmware if it continues then hardware but most likely its hardware..
mines is unlockable.. and trying to keep it that way for the same reason... ive seen a post that says it can be relocked...
heres is the post.. i would like to ask you a favor if you try it.. make video of it .. to prove it works..

This is the reason why i swap my G4 H818P to Korean Variant G4. The Bootloop problem. Korean Variant is perfect for me. Strong 4G signal and no more SMS Limits in Marshmallow official update.

Dear all,
I'm stuck and I don't know what to do.
I can't root my LG G3 D851 (T-Mobile) phone.
Recovery mode is only deleting the files (Original LG screen).
Purple, oneclickroot, kingroot they all fail cause they can't start in Recovery Mode.
I think that my Bootloader is blocking this, but LGUP doesn't recognize my Phone.
LG Flash no working DLL? I'm stuck and I'm starting to miss ODIN.
Is anyone able to help?
Cause I don't see it anymore
I have a variant of your phone, the LG G3 D858HK, I sort-of had the same issue and also found that KingRoot, Purple, etc failed, but Towelroot worked when I took the phone out Recovery Mode ..... after about the 10th attempt at trying to root using it that is...... Apparently it can take several attempts using the app before you obtain root

You can't unlock the bootloader. You have to downgrade to a lower version of lollipop, root with kingoroot, and run autorec.
