thank you 4 reply but how can i know which pic is taken on CM10 b6 in that picture thread ?????
i'm using cm10 alpha 6 now, and i use the camera a lot.
in my opinion:
pros
- picture quality is just the same as stock
cons
- greenish color on the preview right after taking the shot (known bug)
- artifacts appearing while taking a panoramic shot, very annoying (known bug)
- some features in the stock camera are not available in cm10
Despite of that, i still choose cm10 as my daily driver. Simply because it's smoother than the stock rom and compatible with all
the apps and games i use. (by the way, there is no FM radio in cm10, i'm using Spirit FM and it's good enough for me)

need to stick a better rom than the one i am running on the phone at the moment as it is quite old now and hasnt been updated for ages. i am currently using one of the camera mods to enable my green lense camera to shoot high def.
i see the greenbread mod will allow me the chance to have high def video recording on a gingerbread rom and so my question is.
which 2.3 rom should i choose that works with the greenbread mod, that will give good battery life (minimum of 24 hours medium useage), that is fast, stable and if possible can be themed?
thanks in advance
Which ROM are you on at the moment?
You can take last CM7 nightlies, battery drain is solved and it's the fastest ROM.
If you want an official ROM, take CEE or Nordic.
rom on at the moment is the old leaked froyo 3.4.2.117.
Is cee or nordic 2.3? i thought they were 2.2.
thought about cm7 but i dont think greenbread mod works on there. correct me if i am wrong cos if i am then i will jump on the cm7 bandwagon gladly.
Sorry, sorry and sorry !
Yes, CEE and Nordic are 2.2 and yes, greenbread mod doesn't work yet on CM7...
Try this Rom >>

where can I find this? The cyanogenmod nightlies section is blank on their website?
Sometimes it wobbles under load (lots of people downloading) - wait a while and try again ... http://defy.tanguy.tk/jordan-nightly/ is the one I use and its pretty damn reliable overall....

thanks bud i will give it a go.
it amazes me the number of replies from people who dont actually read the op properly!
i may yet try cm7...
does anybody know if i can enable the camera mod for the green lens that allows 848x640 video? i am using that mod at the moment and it works perfect. in all honesty if i could enable this then i would more than likely go with cm7.
so if anyone knows let me know if not the rom above looks like the winner.

It will unfortunately not work on CM9, the ICS-->JB update is quite rich, it is no longer a simple copy/paste matter. You need to wait for a flawless JB release, I personally suggest you to try the XtremE Rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1795200 this is quite stable and AFAIK the best JB rom realeased yet thought I'm experiencing a huge battery drain. Or you can wait for the Resurrection Remix JellyBean Rom to get improved, as this Rom was the best ICS Rom for me, stable fast and no battery drain.
report arinvo
I tried the RR ROM and i really like it except for one thing : the gallery shows the pics which are supposed to be hidden (Whatsapp n viber images i.e the pics with the .nomedia file)
I tried refreshing storage etc but they wouldn't go away
Got any ideas?
Guyssss plzzzz any1???? I've been searching for ages but couldn't find a solution !!!
Hello to everyone. I'm on XZX2, but i think that it is very slow, not laggy, but slow. I tried both of cm 9 and cm10, but never cm 10.1
My questions are:
1) What bugs are in CM10 and what bugs are in CM10.1? (Like HDMI, 1080p video recording, FM Radio..)
2) I can use nova kernel 1.6 with cm10, but Can I use its with CM 10.1?
3) I love cm10.1's camera app, what rom (FXP, Cyano, Opensemc...) do you suggest to me?
Thank you all.

ps: i know that in the end of March/April will roll out Jelly bean, but i want to try 4.2.2 also..
Go and try, make a backup before... U got nothing to lose.. I am on cm10.1 open semc 04.. I think it is the best rom...

1)FXP's CM10 have no bug in it's latest stable ROM ,OpenSEMC's CM10.1 have some problem with FM Radio.(but it doesn't matter
2)You can't use nova kernel on CM10.1
3)All 4.2 ROM's camera are the same(Slim, CM10.1 ,PAC).
If you want a ROM that very stable, try FXP's CM10
If you want a ROM that high customation, try PAC (19 based on CM10(4.1.x) ,20 or 21 based on CM10.1(4.2.x)
If you want a ROM that daily use, try Slim Rom or OpenSEMC's CM10.1
sorry for my poor english :<
The main problem on cm 10.1 is HDMI and Fm radio is Not working perfectly. Most of the cm 10.1 rom is not battery user friendly. But as I think and as I have got battery is good on cm 10.Both of the rom are not yet stable. Many times rebooting by itself.Networking problem on both cm10 and cm10.1

Does anyone of you have issue with the mobile data network? I can't seem to get it working, but everything else looks/works quite nice on latest OpenSEMC.

Does anyone knows if anyone of those ROMS has camera support? I mean fullHD 1080p video and 12mp photos? And if there is support for 3.4 kernel ?
Sent from my LT26i using xda app-developers app
In general, the main bugs are related to network, sometimes it disconnects itself and have to disable and reenable data traffic. Moreover, 1080p and FM Radio is not working in most of cases, but in general, CM10-10.1 ROMs are very stable.

Bro he's using Slimkat, not CM11...
But to be honest, if you want an AOSP-based ROM with almost the same quality as Samsung's camera, try newer builds of CM11. It has tons of customizations even tho the camera preview is a bit laggy...

I don't know man... there's no stock 4.4-based Touchwiz AFAIK... The aforementioned port might work on CM10.1 and CM10.2 which are based on Android 4.2.2 and 4.3 respectively... But not 4.4 because of different APIs. It's wiser to wait till Samsung release a 4.4 update to one of their flagships (Note 3, S4) and port it to our device... much easier.
Don't take my words as fact tho... I'm not a developer.
I've been looking for a light rom for my Marvel 2012 model, but sadly all of the links were dead, or the project was discontinued.
since i haven't found any after hours of research i thought that there could be someone who might know light rom based on cm9 and by saying light i mean light, without apps that most people don't use. so any help would be appreaciated mutch. btw sorry for my bad english :/

thanks for your response

yes they are fast and stable, but i want best that i can get from that phone, especially when it comes to performance and how mutch apps i can install by my self, but so far as i saw there's none of that kind of roms available, there was some kind of a project of slim roms, but the developer removed them and now i can't find any of that kind of rom's available.
this was the project that i was talking about http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2068879
by the way the rom that you gave me the link is very unstable and haven't been tested fully and the rom project is being discontinued. ;(
Why not try some of the latest like:
CM7.2 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2646338
CM10.1 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2321283
Odexed version - (However this version of CM10.1: camcorder gives FC)
Both are very stable and fast.
Succes
