No you cant, you can use some of the apps maybe, like for example a calculator or browser, but not the framework, so it wont bevthe full rom.

Hi,
I was wondering if someone managed to port the Mms.apk from Cyanogenmod 10 to a stock ROM on Note 2. 'cause the Samsung sms app is just awful while the cyanogenmod one is great for me.
If it has never been done, can a dev do it please ? It must not be really difficult but so useful !
Thanks.

Hi, i hope i understand clearly - do you want install custom theme, right? So you have to install ROM with theme manager support, like CM or AOKP.
Difference between theme and ROM?? Sorry, but this is veeery noob question... Theme only modifies system look. ROM... is a ROM This is a whole system.
And yes, you can install CM 11 BUT:
- You have to install firstly newest CWM Recovery 6.0.4.3
- make full wipe and system wipe before install

a theme only replace the system ui and some apps ui and for using it you must have installed a rom that supports the theme engine, so a rom replace the entire system, it is something like a custom version of android!
[you can install the xposed framework and xthemeengine too, so you can apply a theme without changing rom]
and cyanogenmod 11 can be installed on the gnex, not on 4.2.2! it will replace your 4.2.2 with a custom and adapted [and very smooth and performant] android 4.4.2 kitkat!

it is stated in almost every forum..anyways...
our kitkat roms don't have any bug till date..they are most stable with best gaming performance....
as they are aosp based...so no touchWiz voodoo stuffs like multiwindow or anything (as its aosp pure Google nexus based)...
4.3 roms are not stable at all in grand...
we have 4.2.2 custom roms then our developers were trying for 4.3 and in that time only pawitp (respected developer) developed kitkat..so we use that now..(most of)..if u want all touchwiz features,u should go with tw based roms like GENNXT ...many more are there on stock based..u shud chrck few threads...
kitkat has better gaming performance.... but all aosp based ROMs have less camera quality then Samsung stock.... though aftr latest uodate by developers, camera is mch equal..still..carbon is undr development (by the main developers)..... that means..its stable and will get features like halo in future.....
more if u want .u can search forums and ask...
hope i helped
Thanks so much ^_^
I will download cm11
But I need another like for the last update because it's so slow when I download from that site

Hi
I want to install android 4+ (4.0 , 4.1 , 4.2) on my htc wildfire s.
What is best rom for daily usage .
Problems Like wifi tether are not important for me.
But common thing like camera , music player , dialer ,. are important.
Which Rom do you suggest?
Try crossfire 77's crossfire ICS ROM or djolivers marvellous cm 10 for 4.1 and thehacka 1's aosp port or cm 10.1 by owl project for 4.2

well i almost tried every single one of those ROMs in development section all of them almost has a bug which is annoying but trust me when i tell you this try Marvelous which the most stable, fast , working great ROM between all others, and i strongly recommend you nfollow the installtion process exactly as said or you'll have problems, also try to instal int2ext and gapps which their link are in the same thread as the ROM. you can find Marvelous Here

If you want speed, Dont Use CyanogenMod 9, 10 or 11, use CM 7.2 by MMB as it is very fast (even faster than original ROM)
