I was using the Swiftkey flow Beta untill it expired yesterday. I originally had the paid version for about a year and when i went to the play store to download it it says it's not compatible with my phone! I am running PAC Man Rom and remember something about the DPI of the play store affecting things like that but i can't find the info on it again. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Correct. Your dpi needs to be at the stock setting (240 I think) You can also look into getting a modified play store that tricks the apps into thinking you have the right device.

Give market helper a try! I love it for when applications say I'm not compatible. Works for my different DPI Change but in your case I'd suggest using a modded market version.

I have to scroll through the 'All' tab now to find them? I got like 20 lol. I just noticed this because I'm on a new et4g and no longer have backups.
You can visit the Play Store on your PC, and there's a tab for your apps. It'll list all the apps you've purchased (free & paid).

What about on my phone? I don't really feel like going on my PC just to see apps I know I've purchased. It is a hassle to skip throughout free apps I know I've bough.
You can push the apps to your phone from your PC. Make sure your phone shows in menus by visiting your Google Play Store settings
New version of play store has this, just swipe in the my apps screen on your phone and it lists any app you have installed on your account.

Sorry, I had to revive this. OP only wants to see his purchased apps. Not all hundred thousand that he has ever downloaded. Google Market, before Play, only showed purchased apps. And it was perfect. Now, every app I have ever installed is on that damn list. Its stupid. I only want to see the apps I care about: the ones I spent money on.

Yeah but what if your phone died and you had no backups to transfer to another phone? You really want to try to remember all of them? However, filtering options would be nice.

I'll post the answer for anyone that happens to be looking for a solution (as I was). It appears that the consensus is to uninstall market updates (settings > applications > play store) so you have an older version. With an older version, I believe you can see them at the bottom of "my apps." Unfortunately, the market will likely update itself again so it's something you can do anytime you want to see your purchased apps. Some have been successful in preventing auto-update; others, not so much.
The other option is to review your transaction history in Google Wallet.
Do you know which play store version was the last to show bought apps?

Someone modified a play store app to show your paid yet not installed apps. Search xda for play store legacy or something. If not I can post the apk when I get a chance. I found it on xda though so I know it's here somewhere.

I was wondering if anyone could post the apk file for the NBC Olympics Live Extra app as it is only available to Americans and living in Canada I would love to be able to view the olympics on my phone.

thanks!
incompatible with my SGS2 on tmobile too
but your download link apk is installed and working fine! Stupid NBC
Thanks!
Thanks for the dropbox link worked like a charm on my SGS3, tested a video working great as stated can't test live until olympics start but don't see why live wouldn't work.
But the reviews aren't good. Seems as tho it doesn't 'just' work.
Thanks all! it works great
Guess that means people are reviewing without trying it or maybe they have an incompatible phone I can confirm the AT&T Galaxy S3 works.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
On the app's page it states that "additional support for phones and tablets will be added". So I wouldn't be surprised if we see a fully compatable and optimized app before the Olympics.
EDIT: reinstalled from review horizon and now for some weird reason video works, oh well, as long as I can watch the Olympics

Can anyone put up a tablet version? The phone version doesn't rotate for landscape mode.
Thanks.

Strange but even fir gs2 it says incompatible
Can someone please post the version they updated to today? (7/25) The last one tries to force an update which is still 'not compatible'.

Yeah this is infuriating. I got everything set up on my tablet and phone to be able to stream, and they do a forced update today... I can't find the apk online anywhere. Can someone please post it?

Yes, someone please post. Maybe it would be good for someone to post directions on how someone who has the app can ID and upload the apk for us. I would, but never done it. I think look in /data/app directory

Play store just compatible the app with Nexus 7
uninstall the old one if you sideloaded, then re-download in Play store if you are on Nexus 7
and I dont know how to take the apk out,,,,,sorry
UPDATE: On my S2 (SGH-i777) running CM9 nightly (July 23) build (though I don't think it matters) I was able to get the Google Play Store to install the updated .apk:
Note: I had the previous version of Live Extra installed from the old .apk
1. Go into Google Play store and search for NBC Live Extra. It should take you to the app page that displays "Open" or "Uninstall".
2. Select "Uninstall". Message displays saying it wasn't installed from the Google Play Store, and asks if you want to uninstall anyway. Confirm that you want to uninstall.
3. After uninstall, the app page will show, displaying the blue Install button. Select Install, and it should d/l and install the updated (today) version. It's about 12.75 MB I think.
I'll try to post the updated apk later, if this site will let me post files that large.
One thing I didn't consider until now is that...maybe the app actually is compatible with the S2 i777 now, and I never knew until i uninstalled the old apk, in which case I really didn't figure out anything groundbreaking. I don't think that's the case though b/c Google Play wasn't offering to update my old Live Extra app when it was installed.
As we all know Google have removed all the adblocking apps from Google Play. Here is something which will be of help
For ROM Toolbox Pro Users
A secret place for the Ad Blocker you would probably get to it by going into ROM Toolbox -> open the Sliding Menu (swipe right to left) -> and long clicking "DNS Changer"
For Everyone
Here is the standalone version that you can download and install from their server: http://jrummy16.com/jrummy/ad-blocker/Ad-Blocker-JRummy-Apps.apk

Excellent! Now, if only we could have an app, that allowed the user to download all the paid apps from Google Play totally free of charge, that would be nice.
Actually we should have an app that made the developers pay the users to use the apps, that they work so hard to develop.

I just flashed Minitab onto my Note 2 and now the Google Play store is telling most of the apps I need are not compatible. Is there a working around other than finding what I need online. Im really digging this ROM but its useless without good apps.
I just came off that one...In the apps there is one, I can't remember the name, but it allows you to fool google about what kind of phone you're using and lets you download all your apps...
I presume that ROM changes to a non stock dpi.
DPI incompatibility. You'll need to reset your device to stock dpi, reboot, clear Play data, reboot, and open Play again.... Then change back to your custom dpi.

Install the xposed framework and the multidpi google play module.
I cannot find the thread for the module, so here it is in my dropbox.

I believe "Market Helper" is the app you are looking for to 'trick' the play store into thinking you are on a different device

I have the t-mobile samsung galaxy note 2 and am currently running the liquidsmooth rom, I was previously running the Jedi-X14 and Carbon Rom. I bought NBA2k13 in the google play store and have played the game on my phone before, but I am currently am not able to play the game while on the liquidsmooth rom. I made changes to the build prop file (from GT-7105 to SGH-T889) and even installed the multi dpi play store cause i read that it might have been a dpi issue to try to fix the problem and still am not able to download and install the game as the play store always says that the phone is not compatible. Can anyone help me in this issue?
The only thing I can suggest is make a backup with titanium and then restore. Or let google be it friend

the things I have tried or what I figured out through searches on the forums here and through google. don't really understand why it's giving me this compatibility issue when I have not ever had this before!
maybe someone who reads this thread and has NBA2k13 installed on their phone can upload their build prop for me or something!
