[Q] Fugumod and Grsecurity config - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I just installed the Fugumod kernel (stable-v4.1). One of the main reasons was to mess around with Grsecurity using sysctl - the only problem is that there is only one option available in '/proc/sys/kernel/grsecurity' and it is 'romount_protect'.
Unfortunately there is no /proc/config.gz and I cannot seem to find the kernel config online - so I have no idea what features have been enabled.. I don't even know if sysctl support has been compiled in.
I was wondering if anyone here knew much about Fugumod.. What is supported.. how, if I can, configure Grsecurity without building my own kernel.
I'm also open to suggestions to other security orientated kernels.

How about you talk to nikademus or post in his thread? No one better to ask than the man himself.

Thanks. I initially searched for that thread - that was in fact how I found the kernel - but I was under the (wrong) impression that the thread was locked. Sorry. I will post there thanks.

Does this kernel work on cm9 based roms.
Sorry for posting this question here but I have less then 10 post. I spend most of my time in the DEV section the little time I do have. So I don't post much at all. I would recommend to the moderators is to let newbies post comments but let them have to be approved by an moderator maybe the original poster in that forum that way the general section doesn't get bogged with these post. This done is at BetaArchive website and works well I must add.
If it did I'm sure he would say so in the OP.

Check the kernel repo or AOKP thread for AOSP updated kernels. Also they stated that TCP would update recovery for CM9 users

A2DP quality problems with 4.2 and 4.2.1 - any way to use old stack?

Hi all,
after google changed the bluetooth stack in 4.2, it has made A2DP quality lot worse than it was with 4.1.x (issue is discussed here for example: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=39632). Is there any way to take the good old bluetooth stack from older release?
I'm running on latest AOKP nightly, but the problem remains in factory image as well.
Any help would be appreciated.
why is this in the dev section?

The question ain't AOKP specific. The issue is present in ALL 4.2.x ROMS / releases. Maybe if you read the opening post, you can see I already told this...
the problem isnt rom specific but your request is.. you are on aokp and you want this change...thats why i said ask in the aokp thread. but you post this in the general section if you want

What I'm asking is kind of universal solution (if possible):
- take the old stack and copy it over the new one
My main issue us just connecting to a2dp. Sometime phone won't connect and when it does often drops the connection. I have tried a few different 4.2 and 4.2.1 Roms and it happens in them all.

[Q] CM10.1 stable with halo?

Are there any ROMs out there which have a base of CM10.1 with very few modifications to that, that also has HALO? I've been searching for something along those lines but can't seem to find a stable rom like this. I was hoping for something like this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2346265. if anyone finds something similar please let me know
Not really, you have a bunch of options but no cm base with no other optimizations or using another base. LiquidSmooth is kinda what you might be looking for, or SlimBean or Illusion, flash and see for yourself or watch YouTube videos, they'll help out a little as well.

Help with choosing ROM

So I'm 13 years old and new to flashing/rooting, been only doing it for 6 months. I've currently got paranoid android on my gs3,and I was wondering what other romsc other than cyanogenmod got voice+ built into it.I was looking at PAC-man ,but it doesn't specify if it has voice+.can anyone tell me if it does?
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
I'm not a fan of AOSP roms on this device but PAC - man rom should have it all. Thus it's name.
P aranoid
A OKP
C yanogen
They take all te mods from all of them and PAC them in.
Also as your post ultimately is a question it should go in the Q&A section not in the General section.
Have a great day!

And members are expected to research themselves on this development site. XDA is not a support site so please take the time to read through the ROM threads to find what you are looking for. By reading through you will discover what other features or bugs that you like/dislike in your choice.
