Can Gio able to have auto brightness?

auto brightness needs brightness sensor which is absent in GIO..so sorry mate no its not possible..auti brightness is a hardware issue

Not possible cuz gio doesn't have a "ambient light sensor" hardware which controls the auto brightness feature.

Is there an app or a fix, for the auto brightness? when in dark the screen is at full brightness where it should be dim.
Does anyone know what light levels the light sensor takes? I came from Droid X where the light sensor only sense 4 values. Does the GS3 light sensor only take specific values or the whole interval? I want to know cause my auto brightness is very low when I'm outdoor and not sure which light levels to fix.
Are you sure the brightness is low when you're outside?
AMOLED screens usually aren't very effective in the outdoors, I have to crank the brightness all the way up for it to be visible for example.

I'm sure it's something to do with auto brightness since the screen is much brighter when I turn off the auto brightness and turn the brightness all the way up. It might be a bug in my rom, I'm using CM10.
does adding ro.lcd_min_brightness=255 to biuld.prop
disables auto brightness ?
like it sets minimum brightness and it is the highest brightness the phone reads , does it work ?
First thing i've noticed on my new xz1c is dimm display in auto-brightnes mode? When i turn auto-brightness off display is OK.
Is it only me or You see the same?
Any sugestions?

Done it several times, whenever auto is engaged displays darken
I use Lux Auto Brightness as it allows to dim below zero at night so that the display doesn't blind you. You can also configure the desired display brightness for any lux value of the ambient light sensor. Works quite well for me.
When my auto brightness was on i changed the brightness manually and since then the auto brightness is not working properly.. What should i do?
