Its simple, have you unlocked it??
if yet...and you want to do this with all risk try to do this
Press dial phone
*#*#7378423#*#*....when it said Bootloader unlock : yes
Its mean u can unlock your bootloader..then go to this tutorial, remember you will avoid your guarante, but after that you can flash any amazing custom ROM...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=12873655
Or if just want to keep on stock..I suggest you to reflash the stock rom/firmware..follow the instruction carefully..
EDIT : sorry..just forgot that u get bootloop
So just doing last step : reflash the firmware...

the problem is that the phone is stuck at sony logo. so i wont be able to unlock the bootloader as it needs the dial pad...
I have been flashing this phone with LT18i_4.1.B.0.587_Kernel.ftf but no progress is seen.
i dont have much info about bootloop and bootloader?

thanks it will be LuPuS v5 kernal correct? I will try and flash the kernal and install the rom thanks alot monkey..
No v6 is the latest and if you have a r800i you need to flash a special file too or you will bootloop

ok v6 lupus and gsm not cdma correct with verizon.
well i found v5 but no v6? http://www.mediafire.com/?iv5ujs3y2iecr which one should i download?
cdma=verizon=r800x
GSM=UK area=r800i
and im pretty sure the r800at=at&t
and im pretty sure r800a=mexico
so if you are on the r800x just flash the kernel, if you have anything else you need to flash a special .ftf for the kernel to boot just refer to the offical thread here
i flashed kernal but stuck on lupus boot screen won't go into recovery? I installed cw recovery before I flashed..

You need to apply some APN's call Verizon and ask them for some apn's to set up your phone and they will give them to you

Just call the normal Verizon support number (I don't remember it off hand) and tell them that you need to set up your phone for their network and they will either
a) walk you through a manual program which probably won't work on JB as most ROMs took this part out or disabled it or whatever it just don't work.
Or
b) give you the apn's to set up the phone.
I would try and go with b as its much simpler to do
sent from my Sony Ericsson Xperia Play™(r800x) Running Slimbean 3.0 using Tapatalk 2™
one thing i noticed was when i went to mobile network i kept getting error even under apn? I tried manual and automatic just kept saying error.
Well then I suggest trying a different ROM or contacting the ROM creator and telling him/her what's up with the ROM and they may assist you further

Well I ask this because 2.3.4 is unrootable unless you flash a pre-rooted kernel so if your BL is unlocked then flash a pre-rooted kernel and install CWM recovery then install your prefered ICS ROM or I would suggest JB then flash their kernel and you should be good

I dont understand why u say "i'm using STOCK ICS"... what is STOCK ICS? Since Xperia Play never had an OFFICIAL STOCK ICS.
Anyway if u are having problem, probably u have Markphyton rom.
Advice: if u want a perfect ICS rom stable with 100% touchpad, use CM9.1
This is simple, just flash This 2.3.4 enhanced version, turn on USB debugging mode, then use SuperOneClick or flashtool to root it.

This will not help with your headphone jack issue, you will have to buy this adaptor: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-EC250-Headphones-Adaptor-1249-0456/dp/B009HW15UG/

If you have DoomLord Kernel you must have root it's built in!:good:Your thumbnail picture say's superuser not installed if it is install this alternative
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...GwsMSwxLDYsImV1LmNoYWluZmlyZS5zdXBlcnN1Il0.If I have had problems with su/root before this as helped:good:
If you have superuser installed remove that and use the app in the link.
Also try this as well https://play.google.com/store/apps/...t=W251bGwsMSwxLDMsInN0ZXJpY3Nvbi5idXN5Ym94Il0.
Use superone click for root! For some reason the rom your using doesnt recognize super user from doomkernel.
Or use SuperSU... It worked for me...

Hey ! Download the RootXperia from the FreeXperia , if you have the DoomKernel you can flash it , just put it on your sdcard and there you go iam tried it and its worked for me
Hello everyone,
I am working on building a flashable 6.1.A.2.55 for Xperia SL LT26ii. Many of my users have told me that the USB was not working. When I tested it myself on my Xperia S LT26i ( not SL ) even my USB was not working. Tried all the solutions of force stopping MTP-app but to no avail. Not only that, my phone was not even getting charged with a wall charger!
I took the updater-script for my rom from here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2005595
I am sure that there must some missing symlinks are permissions. Any ideas? Does anyone have the updater-script for a stock ICS based rom for Xperia SL LT26II?

Do you also experience this USB problem? Because I figured out that the problem was in the rom itself. I was extracting the rom from Xperia SL's FTF in Windows which caused the problem. When I extracted it on linux, then the USB started working.
