(Req) a theme that works on aokp b30

Aokp b30 themes work from other phones now yay!

i9000 Themes confirmed working...
I was able to install the COBALT theme from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1536330
Looks great, no problems... and no pink unicorn boot animation... =D

these themes work, but will disable 4g and all 4g settings. im thinking if you take the settings.apk from the zip file it might fix it. i'll let ya's know. if it works i'll post the modded red-black theme

yeah that didn't work. still broke 4g settings. get a 4g settings fc as soon as it boots. Can someone try and port these themes over perhaps?? the ONLY thing missing is 4g settings, and it might not be too difficult to change that..not really sure.

yeah but so pretty lol. i'm doing some messing around and trying to get a functional one. i botched my 1st attempt, but it didn't break anything to my knowledge (4g worked). Only thing wrong with it is there were still some blue elements left behind. But there was plenty red. If you're into that sorta thing, a red/blue/black theme, i can maybe put up a link for it if i didn't delete it yet. but if i get a fully working all red theme it's going up.

Glad i didn't flash this I don't feel like trying to fix whatever's broke..

this baby works. might just have to re-sign into your google account and let it sync afterwards. But it's still the red/blue/black. i can't figure out how to make it all red...don't know code or understand what the issue is. But heres a pretty sick looking blue/red theme - http://minus.com/mm6psz0Db#4o.
if someone figures out how to make it all red using the original red/black theme i linked to above, please do. this will do for now, though.

Add a red circle mod battery if you can too and there's a red Latinime in one of the forums too which would look amazing with this theme.

Can someone who knows how to use apk tool or apk manager do this to finish up this red/black AOKP theme? I'm pretty certain this is all it needs to be complete, but am unable to do this since i have a mac and no idea how to do it. Got these instructions from Big Goron (thanks to you sir):
Decompile the framework-res.apk edit the values/colors.xml edit the background_holo_blue_light=#ff33b5e5 to a red hex value (try #CD0000 or #DC143C or some other good, solid red that's closer to the other reds in the theme).
here's the theme that needs it done - http://minus.com/mm6psz0Db#4o (make sure you get the file called TEST1rednblack.zip)
Once it's done just post a link or whatever. i'll test it out if you don't want to. Thanks to whoever does it
as of now, the theme is fully functional, just not fully red. but if you don't mind a red/blue theme, you might actually like it as is.

Really liking this theme a lot!!
I downloaded like 15 themes and this is the one I stuck with.
Only thing was, I usually use "text only" for my battery indicator. Because it's easier to read (for me). But the theme did not change the color of the battery % text. It stayed ICS blue.
So I changed to the circle-battery which popped up with the correct BOSS color.
Would really like to get text-only % back, but can live with the circle % instead.
I'll just have to squint if I want to read it.

it works on any/all models running a custom ics rom with theme chooser. (such as aokp and cm9)

sorry, i have no idea how to theme the text battery :/

Awesome theme, I would just like to point out the one thing I've noticed. When you have a radio button selected it seems that the graphic is squished. Non selected radio buttons look fine, it's just the selected ones.

yea, i heard about this issue on another one of my threads as well, would it be okay to post a screenshot for me?
and this includes the square buttons with a checkmark and also the selected circle buttons as well, right?

Yep, that's exactly right. My data connection is terrible where I am at right now so I will upload the screenshots in about 1 1/2 hours (if you still want them then)

Another thing I've noticed is that while I'm typing (Swype) my phone freezes up and my status bar goes crazy.

and are you sure that that's a problem with my theme? i haven't themed swype so i have no idea what the problem would be :/
i used to use swype with this theme before switching to swiftkey 3 and didn't run into any problems

The dial pad and contacts arent themed white and pull down notification isnt transparent besides that its running smooth on blazer 1.7.

I'm on freegs3 .9 so i dont know if I can test.

Is there anyway you could make the blueish toggles full black with the white when highlighted? It would look soooo much cleaner... :fingers-crossed:

Installed and has been working great. Can confirm that this works for Blazed 1.6 and Freegs3 .8.
One suggestion... Is there anyway to get the 15 toggles the same size as the stock ones? Only becuase they look kinda small and bunched up together....Other than that, no FC's and everything is looking great!!!

Remove some of the toggles that you dont use ,and also its because of the theme that makes them look small ,their the same as all the others

It's In the ascent rom. If you go through a few pages of the gsm galaxy nexus roms you'll find ascent v3.
That icon is in there as well as a really cool browser icon.

You have to download the rom and manually pull the icons out of it.
The icon you're looking for is in the rom itself.

More specifically, it's in the rom, in /system/app/mms.apk in the res/drawable/mipmap xhdpi folder

Dark theme like default Oxygen OS?

Running CM13 and would like a pure dark theme like the one found in the stock Oxygen OS, pure black not grey just pure black. Something that takes advantage of the AMLOED screen. I have tried a few but none are like the default one. Anyone have any idea which one is like the stock one?

Someone posted it in the CM13 thread a while back... Can't seem to find it

Search the play store for true black / dark theme.
Radius theme has a black version if you use arcus.

try in play store we have lot of dark themes like Euphoria , Dark black, Pitch Black etc...

Im rocking euphoria with a custom bootanimation from the other thread and im happy with it.

There is also an app called ThemeDIY which lets you create your own themes You can then customize every color how you like it and it takes just a few minutes

Found a theme on play store which is called "oxygen" cm theme or layers theme.

Someone in purity ROM forum posted a really nice dark theme.

Yeah it only changes a couple things but that's what I wanted.

I'm using pitch black ocean. Always in every rom and lately in purity which I'm using now.

Pitch black Aurora is the dark theme I use. I love the dark purple accents.
