appreciate the quick response. looking forward to checking this out. on my Xoom and Toro.

looks very promising. How is the lag throughout? Like, on EOS4, launcher has some lag/studder to it, so does cm10.1 apparently too. looking forward to a wingray version
Dude, I almost **** my pants seeing this!!!!
Getting it now to test, very exciting!
Do you own a Stingray?
Sounds like a great rom. Look forward to a Wingray version.
Flashed it last night, didn't get to play with it much.
Very smooth, 4G worked right away,didn't O/C or anything yet, so I wonder about stability @ 1.5GHz, but looks very promising. Will continue playing with it and report back.
Is there any chance you can help the kernel boys figure out a Stingray version? What they have produced so far kills 4G.
Issues
There are some issues that still need to be worked out however they will be worked out in future nightlies, I have updated my blobs today and devices so there should be less issues. The keyboard should now be more responsive and I am working on getting pie working on the Xoom properly. The problem is in the SystemUI, I will be working on it in the future nightly builds. Wingray build is out now as well.
I can't get the GPS to turn on, it is on in the setting but WAZE and Zillow cannot operate it.
I've been using this since last night. Kinda similar to the team baked rom with all of the options you get. Working very well so far. Love the combined status bar and nav bar. That plus LMT pie controls on the right side equals awesome sauce.

No store? No gmail?
I've attached a clean log when I run Waze, it just stalls in the initial graphic screen, before it shows the 'initilization' circles.
I've also attached a log while booting just to make sure it's clean.
How do you setup up the statusbar & navbar transparency? I tried the transparency settings and nothing changed.
Anyone else have luck?

Transparency settings don't usually work with anything other than standard wallpaper. Maybe you are using Live Wallpaper?

Nope, using the orca supplied wallpaper (the farmhouse one). Bummer it wont work.
The rom is solid/stable on the other fronts so far. But working transparency would rock!

I believe transparency on some roms depends on the launcher for some reason. If you're not using Nova Launcher, try it once. It may work! Hope it does anyway!
Can it run on MZ600 (Stingray CDMA)?

Has anybody running this noticed that the game pudding monsters doesn't work? Had to go back to EOS because my girlfriend was pissed about that game not working.

mz600 = 3G stingray
mz602 = 4G Stingray
mz604 = Wifi only Wingray
The 600 & 602 can use google firmware for made for 604 wingray, custom roms for wingray, custom recoveries for wingray, ANYTHING for wingray. The downside is you will have no 3G/4G options. But if you are not using those features then use a wingray firmware or rom. They are exactly the same devices. The 604 is just missing mobile data features.
Hope this helps

Drew, on 2/28 build, Rom Settings under OrcaTools is fcing Settings for me. This is with a clean flash. Also the Ring/Vib/Silent toggle in Toggle Chooser is fcing SystemUI. My guess is because the Xoom doesn't have Ring. The Vibrate and Silent toggle choosers work fine.
---------- Post added at 09:35 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:02 AM ----------
Drew I found an easy fix for the Settings issues on 2/28 build. I just replaced Settings.apk, Settingsprovider.apk, and OrcaSettings.apk with the ones from 2/26 build and good to go now

Same issue here. This is with AT&T with both the HSPA and LTE APNs
Ok, data seems to work now. Had to start over (format and install) then set to "LTE/ GSM/WCDMA" in the Mobile network settings WITHOUT changing anything in Phone Info (that's the *#*#4636#*#* screen). So, do not use the Phone Info settings!
My experience, anyway.

This worked. Simply went to recovery, factory reset, and rebooted.
Check out the screenshot!
- Signal strength ???
- Mobile network type should be LTE and a higher number (can't recall what it was on previous ROM).
- Mobile network state "Disconnected"?
Mobile network works, though, but I only got 20Mbs download. Used to get 37 or so.

My pleasure bro, couldn't agree more. It's my daily driver
I'm attempting to use this with my Telus i747m, and it's having issues with mobile data; a lot of the time, if the phone starts up with mobile data enabled, the radio will cut out entirely and not return until a reboot; without mobile data enabled, the radio works fine, but cuts out instantly if mobile data is enabled.
This doesn't seem to happen for the first boot or two, oddly enough.
I've tried some of the other suggestions in the thread and they don't seem to alleviate the problem.

I don't think so Mopar. Once volume gets half way it doesn't get louder. . Can't wait until this issue gets fixed. Its a big problem for me as I love loud music. I'm sure it will eventually get fixed in the near future once ota is released.

I am going to have to try this out.
I'm having an issue with shortcuts rearranging themselves in the dock. Anyone else? I've also received a few install errors from the market. Something to the effect that adv application is not available for my device. It's that because I'm running in tablet mode?
Other than that....AWESOME :thumbup::thumbup:

So far I haven't run into any major issues. Been running for a few hours now. The only bug I've experienced was the same in the last build. The status bar color change doesn't stick after a reboot. Obviously this is not a big deal since one my device is setup, it is rebooted about once a day. Thanks for bringing this build back to life.

you may have to change the market back to 240 dpi. i had mine at 185 and the usual apps started going missing in the market.
i use apex launcher beta so im not seeing the shortcut issues at all.

Now that KBizzle is moving on from developing for the Epic Touch, I will be continuing this rom. Many thanks to KB for helping me out. I didn't see it mentioned anywhere, and either way is fine but is this any different from the last KBizzle build, or is it the same thing, just ported into snipers name and with it's own thread? I don't really expect him to have updated it so quickly after picking it up, I just want to know if there is any reason to update.
Also, SO glad someone picked this up, I was worried for a little while. Good luck sniper.

Its pretty much the same but with a few commits since the other build. I didn't port it but built the rom from source. There's no huge reason to update if you don't want to.

Should be fine....i've been using TWRP since about a week after getting the phone and haven't had a problem flashing any roms yet, even when the OP recommends to use CWM
I don't want to start any drama considering the circumstances but can anyone briefly tell me what the differences between this and carbon are? The features lists look very similar.

Would also like to know if the static issue when using Bluetooth audio in the car, has been fixed ? That was a deal breaker for me, forcing me back to TW ROM's.

well as you know carbon tree was forked from liquidsmooth
since then they went there own way
since then many things were added in liquid , I wouldnt know if these were kanged from liquid or added to carbon via an other way or if they werent added at all or what was added since then by team carbon .. I do not follow what thy do on there github at all..
liquidsmooth as there own kernel and so does carbon , afaik each kernel is unique to these specific roms and kernel plays a critical role inhow phone behaves so your best bet is to try them both ...
I could give you my opinion but ofc im biased ..
I can tell you one thing for sure when I joined liquidsmooth a few of the 'pub' optimizations were used already but not all of them , this has been corrected so you can expect the maximum smoothnest possible in an oasp based rom .
I personally got the highest linpack results I ever did before on this rom , 245 (average) @ 1.9ghz .. nugh said .
now lets not bring up the 'c' word anymore thank you (lol)

ok if the last person in the other thread told you it was not fixed then why would you assume that it would be magically fixed in this rom when they are based off the same 4.2.2

The OP says that there is kernel support for Voodoo audio, yet I dont see it anywhere in the ROM settings and it isnt available for the Note 2 from the play store...am I missing something?
Otherwise...great ROM. Glad to see Liquid back on the scene.
