One of the main things i miss about CMPA is the camera app, and now that it has HDR built-in I'm green with envy. Any way to just get the APK file? How would I port it over?

is there any way to make the camera on XDA IIs appear fullscreen? or is there any ROM with that feature?
all the roms use the same camera driver and app, that is why the cam interface is still the same it was in wm2003. i don't know if it is possible to change that.
I recently switched to the Epic and love the device but the camera app on the epic is not very good. After you take a picture, there are no sliding animations, I really miss the auto rotate when you are viewing pictures using the camera app. Is there any way I can link the camera app to the gallery to view pictures, or is there another suggestion?
Thanks
Camera 360 is pretty cool
The camera that is in Cyanogen 6.1...where can I get some info on it? I really like the buttons for the settings but I am missing some things...
- what is the resolution of the pics and can it be changed? (I do not see a menu item for this.)
- the stock app had widescreen and regular, is that just not in this version?
Having fun with the rom so far, but camera is a BIG part of my phones and the reason I own an 8mpxl camera phone.
(Side note, are there other camera apks floating around that will work on the Evo?)
When I use a shortcut for the activity com.android.camera.Videocamera my vidcam doesn't open but the regular photo camera. I didn't have this issue in earlier versions.
Is there any known way to start the videocamera without selecting video cam within the camera app?
Bump
I am trying to set my camera up as a temporary streaming option by mirroring my phone screen on my PC with the camera app. The obvious issue being all of the UI on the camera preview screen. I have tried some of the streaming apps, but they don't have all of the features of the stock camera app (like utilizing the wide-angle lens). Does anyone know if I am missing anything? Or is it just impossible?
