Guys I found this on one of the Cyanogenmod member's GitHub. He is adding lot of comments to his GithHub about Samsung Skyrocket. Check the link below, if anyone could make more sense of this then please explain. ( It looks like Alpha cm9 but I could be wrong )

Im not sure if you were answering my question, but if you were, i dont think you understood me. I meant to ask if this source could be compiled into a functional cm that ran on our devices.

Pretty sure he has more than 1 phone. He has the GS2 and the G2 which has CM9 already. But he likes this phone more so he is ecstatic about getting CM9 on it.

Lol, no, the T989 is my primary phone, but I still have my HTC G2 as well, and that has "unofficial" CM9 running on it. Would be great to have it on this phone, as it's really difficult switching back to such a small screen when I want to enjoy some MIUI, AOKP, CM9, AOSP ICS, etc...
But I still love that little phone with a physical keyboard, dammit
EDIT: Just thought about calling the G2 little. I remember when I thought it was the perfect phone size. Now, I can't imagine ever going back to that size screen for primary every day use, lol!

I am making this thread for the general discussion/speculation of 4.1 Jelly Bean for our device, whether it be official or a WIP custom Rom. Yeah I really do hope T-mobile doesn't let this device fall behind firmware wise because the GSIII is out now. I mean even the Nexus S is getting an OTA of Jelly Bean and it came out 2 years ago.. haha

We all want it but deep down we know that ICS is as far is it'll go.

Yeah, I wouldn't hold my breath for an official JB update from t-mobile/samsung. We'll of course get custom JB ROMs though.

The s2 can't even handle ics properly so what do you think jellybean is going to do to it...lol this phone was made for gb that's what it was tested for so you may be able to get all this other stuff but it will never work like it did with the operating system it came with....but we will try...lmfao

i have had absolutely no problems with ICS on my t989. I actually think it works better. I use the siriusxm app a ton everyday and on GB my t989 would lose data and the stream would stop. Since updating to ICS that has not happened once. Sorry but i feel like your opinion here is wrong.

I can testify the Rom is rock solid on my Nexus S4G why don't you guys ask one of your developers to ask rascarlo if you'll can port it over to Sprint G-Nex ! No freeze ups no reboots & the thing is FAST & SMOOTH everything works if you get to flash it on your phones you'll love it its a keeper forever on my SD card !!

rascarlo's ics on my crespo4g ran as well as stock ics on my toroplus. i can scarcely imagine the awesomeness of his jelly bean.
too bad fergie jumped ship for the gsIII (he ported rascream to ns4g)

Omg, why you ask that!? Axi0m does not have hybrid settings, nor PA settings ... Also no PGM support with the in - built kernel ... sUxx!

Do NOT ask for ETAS!
If you cannot abide by this simple rule you should not be flashing their work! They spend their time working on their projects and they don't need your annoying questions 24/7 asking when the next release will be.

Didn't ruin my flashing, just slowed it down. One of my favorite ROMs and grateful to have v5 ported to GNex.
