A ROM based on the latest AOKP made to bring STABILITY, FUNCTIONALITY, and CUSTOMIZATION to a new level! If you want it, ask for it. This ROM will not be updated on a schedule, but as soon as I add/remove anything I feel is necessary!

Its the dongle that plugs into the phone and allows HDMI out to a TV.. etc.
I would like to know if this is working too. Thinking of picking one up. If anyone reports back with test results would be awesome.

Cory, is this build simillar to the aokp_hercules_unofficial_feb-18-13??? im just asking because i want to give this a try but if its like the other one maybe ill wait for a future release. Dont take this the wrong way, i really enjoy your work. And by any chance do you have in mind doing a build like Embryo 6.3 ??? with the S3 or Note 2 style?

Oh, problem man! Flash any ROM you'd like. This is different in a tweaked way. I've done some minor under-the-hood tweaking along with lowering the DPI for a cleaner look and I also pulled the MMS.apk from CM for the better features. I have WAY more planned, I just wanted to push out a starter
And sadly I don't have an S3 or Note 2... So no. I'm taking donations to be able to afford another phone to dev on though! I'd really appreciate help!

doniqcc was one of the first devs to start dishing out roms for the g2x. glad to see you working on the gs2. things will only get better from here on out...

For now v1 comes with blue toggles and blue battery mod. I'll be working on transparent and different colored ones a little later. But for this build I focused on battery life because I miss my phone going on for 24+ hours with 5 hours of on screen time.

Q - WHAT IN THE WORLD is Linaro?
A - I could go on and on about what Linaro is and bore the masses with facts and this and that BUT I won't!
Basically, linaro is just improvements done to the kernel and the ROM. These improvements are done by optimizing the GNU compiler collection (GCC) toolchain, the kernel, ARM power management, graphics and multimedia interfaces.
Q - What is Linaro going to do to this ROM?
A - Well it will do a few things to the ROM but one thing it won't do is, it won't increase the performance by 200 percent like you first heard when Linaro came out! It will indeed make things snappier. You will notice apps opening up a bit faster and in some cases, it will make a few of them run smoother. You will also see an increase in benchmarks (useless but fun to show off...lol) compare to a ROM not optimized by linaro by overclocking your device but I would recommend you not do this as this will also cause your battery to drain.
Q - I flashed the ROM and now I have an issue, what should I do?
A - Don't freak out! Pull a logcat and paste it on to pastebin and provide me a link in the thread to it. Along with the logcat, please provide me with as much information as possible. Things that you would think could help me fix this issue.....i.e what kernel you're running, what happened, what did you prior to the bug/issue.
Q - How do I pull a logcat?

Q - Do I have to wipe before flashing??
A - YES, even if you're coming from a previous version of this ROM. By doing a full wipe each time, it not only avoids any issues that come from not wiping BUT if you report an issue, I then know that is a legit problem and not because of lack of wiping.
Q - I see (Insert developer name) has fixed this or has added this feature, are you going to do the same?
A - NO! No disrespect to that developer but I have not and will not keep up with what other developers are doing.

With the persistent ICS GPS fix (can't remember where I found it, it's been on my phone for ages), GPS is working fine.

Yeah I pump them out pretty quick when I get inspiration and I'm in the mood to make ROMs... then I'll go for a week or two not knowing what to do next. I'm ALWAYS open to suggestions, however I make no promises... I have to be into the idea too.
