[Q] mod for power button shutter - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Is there a mod i can patch on 4.2.1?
I'd really like some help or point me to a thread to get it going. Would be appreciated....

Aosp camera has the option. You can find a zip on team sourcery website.

Seriously why tell me download something to break my camera app

That's what I used in the post and I never told you to do anything.
Now I'm telling you to restore your nandroid and use the search bar for the aosp camera

Can I carry stock camera apk over to cm9

I heard that cm9 camera has some freezing issues, if i back up my stock camera apk and I see freezes after flashing cm9, can I replace the camera app?
No, most touchwiz elements will not work on aosp/aokp/cm roms, just live with it

Short answer, no you can't.
Download another camera app from the market if you need one that badly.
I'm looking for the same thing. It's the only thing keeping me on a custom tw Rom. I wish there was a way T_T

I think there's a cwm mod in the development section that fixes the camera on cm9 and aokp. Not sure if it actually works, I'll probably after I flash a new Rom. I'd rather have some issues with the camera than a system wide copy paste issue.

Is there a notification toggles for a stock 4.1.1 rom. I would like to have the notification toggles from cyanogenmod ore AOKP. I have tried the toggles from Google Play but i dont really like them. And yes i am ready to root it into my stock rom if that is required
Yes, you can.

Camera Launcher

Hi! This simple app adds a launcher icon for the Camera application on Nexus 7 tablet. What's the main difference between my app and "MoDaCo Camera Launcher"? My app is translated to 50 languages when MoDaCo's isn't translated. The second difference is SDK version - I used Jelly Bean SDK when MoDaCo used old version (Gingerbread probably).
This is my second Nexus-7-only app. I hope you'll enjoy it.

It's normal Jellybean behavior, the same as on Galaxy Nexus.
BTW. Nice to see the awesome people from Ace forums here

Nice, thanks for this. Modaco's never worked on my N7 for some reason, but yours does. I guess the SDK version was what was giving me problems. Awesome work

I get "Unfortunately, Camera has stopped." when using it on CyanogenMod 10.1.

You shouldn't need it. Cm10 already has the camera launcher.
On another note I seriously don't know why Google didn't enable this without a need for an app. Of course they also made chrome the default browser they've already made some questionable decisions.

CM10.1. Where is the launcher? I'm not seeing it.

Photosphere

I am running aokp with Android 4.2 and noticed there was no photosphere. I like the photosphere but I dont want an app like 360. I tried to flash some zips containing the camera which works but it freezes when it generates the photo. Anyone has an idea?

You have the aosp camera which has more settings and features but lacks photosphere.
To get your photosphere back download gapps from goo manager jb 121212 wipe then reflash
Thanks I am going to try that. But which features do I have more with the aosp camera?

Open your camera long press on the screen then go to settings. You'll have your answer

(Req) 4.2 Camera

Was wondering if anyone can upload the 4.2 jellybean camera and also if it could it be modded to have the power button picture option and mute. I decided to go back to stock koodo because I was having too many issues with other roms but I really liked the 4.2 camera.

Can't you just download a ROM or download gapps and pull it off from there? Just a suggestion...
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
I just extracted my 4.2 camera from aokp build 6 n uploading now. It doesn't have photosphere, so if you want that 4.2 search on the forums. I'll post link when done.
Photosphere is tricky to find a work around and will cause ur cam recording to fc so it's a +/- thing if you really love photosphere that much.
