[Q] cm7 installing problem-wildfire s

Team,
I am using HTC wildfire S , still I am unable to install cm7 on my handset..I have downloaded the cm7 from rom manager but I am getting the error aborted..Please any one suggest with full guidance with cm7 download link..Please help me..
I am sorry if any thing wrong in my wordings

you can also try a cwm-based recovery as well

Update ur cwm

when i try install cm7 i got aborted too i am using now JikantaruROM_XE_11711
works great

heyy u all mates....i m a noob here bt it worked for me...
Download the .sense rom 1st

then flash this rom after flashing restart your phn and then you will find a wifi error....even after trying other kernals also provided in aroma installation they wont work.......so waste of time trying them...

after flashing the rom flash this kernal zip...ther u goo mates wifi will work as smooth as cheese and u wont be having any words to describe how awsome ur phn will work with wifi evrythng working in .sense...... xD

btw data2sd wont work on this rom ??
i flashed data2sd and it stucks on the boot screen and in roma installer also it doesnt work.

I didn't test it so I don't actually know. I can't click thanks because i'm limited to 8 a day.

I flashed this patch and got an error "Installation Aborted" on the recovery . I'm using CM9 Alpha 8

CM9 Alpha 9 already has a working YouTube HD.

No, i believe we got the Gingerbread OMX and ported it over. However Rymate did most of the work for this, so i am not 100%

this is what apperars in hboot menu . At first i wasnt able to run official cwm... i checked several threads atlast i found one which was working properly from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1997465&page=3... but the problem is when i tried to install cm9 i didnt get any visuals.... its just strucked in white HTC logo... again i restored to my stock .. but iam eagerly waiting to have cm9 on my wfs . Plz any one help me out

if cwm recovery isn't working.
try TWRP recovery.
download goo manager from market and flash TWRP recovery from it.then flash cm9.1 again.
or check ur steps again like you wipe everything correctly and your rom zip isn't corrupted.

I tried goo manager and downloaded twrp recovery and installed it but when i reebooted into recovery my phone strucks with white HTC logo.. and i tried by wiping all the data correctly and instalation of cm9.1 is also done through the modified cwm recovery . when i reeboted , Once again my phone strucks at White HTC logo .. so i restored my backup file ..Otherwise pls help me by telling the other custom roms of ics

You have a 2012 Wildfire S. Only The modified CWM which you used earlier will work. And no CM Roms will work. Tough luck. You need to use stock based Roms.

Our phone is old, we don't have ics or jb stocks. Only gingerbread. Stick with it now, nothing can be done.

We do NOT have ICS or JB stock Roms. So no ICS and JB Rom will work for you, they are all CM based. Don't even try CM7. Go for Sense 2.1 Roms only. Otherwise, you'll be stuck in a bootloop.

nope.its cm9 based.
if your phone supports only stock sense based rom,there are some 2.1 sense and 3.5 sense based rom available.

Look in the development section for Wildchild. Or go to androidforums.com and find disciplexone's sense Roms.

Dude i have a question u said that since my phone is new i cant install custom roms bcoz of my stock rom.. but i have a doubt if i install ur stock rom 2.13.720.1 which i read in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=34912509
If its done. Then am i able to run any custom rom or not.. plz clarify me

cm10.1 boot problem

I updated my HTC One V to an Unoffical version of CM10 ( Cyanogenmod ). An Official version isn't available yet. I had to:
Unlock the bootloader
Install twrp recovery
Root the phone
Boot into recovery and make a backup then wipe the phone.
Install cm10.zip
My first attempt failed because I didn;t realise you had to flash a custom kernel that supports CM10.I flahed the latest HELLBOY kernel:
boot-HELLBOY-CM10-201302142348.img
Success. I then installed the Google Jelly Bean apps & it was all good.
I've since realised thee is a later version ( 10.1 ) for my phone:
cm-10.1-20130217-UNOFFICIAL-primou.zip
Definately right for may phone as the CM10 that works was also for primou.
Now I boot into recovery & wipe the phone as before
Then install cm-10.1-20130217-UNOFFICIAL-primou.zip
Reboot phone
"HTC it's brilliant" splash screen appears and then nothing. With the working CM10 I get a Cyanogenmod boot animation.
I've restored the phone back to the working CM10 so not bricked.
Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong ? I looked for a later HELLBOY kernel that supports 10.1 but couldn't find one.

Any rom based on Android 4.2.1 for primo u is not at all stable at this time.... Infact, it doesn't even boot.... So, stick with 4.1 for now...

This Rom does boot. You can either try Maxwen's 4.2 kernel or you can extract boot from the zip. But primou version does not have gsm components working so you can't receive our make calls.

its available via goo manager....dont try it....doesnt even boot

CM 10.1 does boot with Max's 4.2 kernel. Though as I said, it does not have GSM components active. Still everything else works.

But people said its booting..... Just gsm components are not there....also, codefireX, pacman ar also not booting....but they are here....

Even i have flashed it.. was booting fine with Max's kernel. But there was no network.

This ROM was not even out for using. Lloir did not even mentioned it was ready to use, it just exists in goo.im
Latest working is CM10 10/1/13
