Came across a deal on cases for the Evo while looking for a Dell Streak case. Thought I would come over and post it, my buddy said its a good case. Didnt do too much research but I think its like a 50 dollar case, anyways $7.95 shipped.

I'll be the guinea pig! I just ordered 2 of them for that price. I figure if they try to screw me I will file a paypal dispute. They also have the platinum innocase with holster for the epic for like 6 bux. If the defender arrives and it's legit I'm probably gonna buy a bunch and distribute them to friends.

The site says its a seidio case but if you go to the seidio website they don't have a platinum series case listed.
"platinum" is indeed a sedio case its just been rebranded for best buy. Check bb site and you'll find it .

Anyone have a video review or something of this case? I cant find some decent pics of the case to see how bulky it is. The best buy site has a front view of the case on the phone and it looks really bulky.

I got this case when they first came out and was not satisfied with it at all. The outer skeleton broke for no apparent reason and I ended up having to cut all the port covers off because the silicone was tearing. You can't really go wrong for 8 bucks though. The inner layer is the regular innocase so you can use that on it's own and Seidio's screen protector is definitely the best I have ever used.
The case is quite bulky, but all rugged cases are. I now have a Ballistic case and it adds even more bulk than the Seidio.

My phone is the Verizon Galaxy Nexus i515 and I've had the red Seidio cover for a long time. It came with a clip holster but the clip broke after 2 days. Got another holster and it broke again in 6 days. This was just from slight/small snags.
Basically I'm looking for something that can hold up against small snags. Also has all 3 combo (good rubber case/kickstand/clip holster).
This is something I'm looking for... only downside to this one is it doesn't come with a clip holsters. There's no indication, even on "what else user's bought after buying this", whether any clip holster will fit this particular brand. Link below...

I like the thickness of it and how it has small covers for the USB port and headphone jack. It also has the kickstand.
Does anybody have this particular one and have a clip holster with it? If you do, which one fits with this brand? If not, is there anything exactly like the link above with all 3 combo?
You could try the Trident Kraken A.M.S. case. It comes with a belt clip. Its around $20 on Amazon.

Glad I could help. I have their Aegis case for my GNex and I love it. The Blue looks awesome. And if you have any issues with it, Trident has awesome customer service.

Probably not. These are for stock only. I think I saw a Seidio case awhile back that had options to accommodate a bigger battery door. Seidio and Trident are my 2 preferred cases but I've never looked into one for bigger batteries cause I've never had an extended battery before.
You could type stuff like Trident Kraken case for extended battery. Same with Seidio.

Thanks for the help. I saw that one yesterday. I'd rather not have the huge 3500-3800 battery so I have been looking around for one and am not having much luck. I'll just keep looking. :good:
I don't know how the kraken is, but my wife and I both have Trident's Aegis cases for our Sprint Galaxy Nexi and they fit good, even with the 2100maH battery.
It looks like the Aegis isn't a holster case.

The Kraken case is really good. Its encasing my Gnex right now. Provides ultimate protection and with military grade screen protector. Only issue with it
Is that its a pain in the arse to take apart when I have to do battery pulls sometime when flashing ROMs. I have no complaint about the rest of it.

I think with a better wording for what you're looking for is making it harder to find one. I know some products require specific wording in the search in order for it to show up. I was hoping that link would get you somewhere. I'll help you look for something when I get home from work.
You could also start a thread, if you haven't yet, and see if anyone bought what you're looking for and can point you to where they got it from.
Are you looking for a similar combo like mine (kickstand, holster, hard/rubber casing)?

Thanks for the replies. I've got the Verizon holster and I like it but with this OEM extended battery and cover, its a real snug fit. In fact it's really too snug.

My carbon case. It comes with a two layer case with a really cool kickstand, a holster that can double as a stand, and I screen protector for under 15 bucks on amazon. I don't have a like but it's pretty easy to find

im thinking about buying the seidio battery door with the draco flare red bumper
i read that they compatible with each other but i want to be absolutely sure that they actually are since the bumper isnt that cheap..

That picture conveniently crops out the two corners where the bumper comes together so I would be careful using that photo as evidence of a good fit.
On a side note, I'm using the Draco with Samsung genuine extended and I'm very happy with the fit and how it looks. I posted photos in the thread for that battery.

Thank you for this thread! Been upgrading my s3. I like my tech to look good the way people like good looking cars. So I also decided to go with the draco. Overkill but no other cases looked as good.*happy to see how handsome your draco-seidio rig looks.

Seidio does have a white battery cover, i did purchase it a few months ago i will look for the link when im home because you wont find it directly on their website. I dont know any battery cover with kickstand which is compatible with draco bumper

So after some back and forth with seidio they claim the extended door is available in colors even though amazon and their own site don't show colors. They say i have to voice call to special order the white or other color door. So this is great news.
Before I order i need to confirm some things if you would be so kind. Firstly, in other xda posts this battery door is the one listed as draco compatible:

However seidio's site doesn't return a match on this part number when you do an internal site search, though if you search via google you get a link to a forgotten page on their website with no image... interesting. This item is about 15$.
Now I also see this door on seidio's site:

Which is called the "surface" . is this comparable to the one listed above? it's double the price.
their site also has a kickstand model which I am hoping will work. I know you don't know for sure but looking at the screenshots they provide what is your best judgement? Do you think it would fit? Being that its just around the side I don't think it would hinder reception much. If anyone could post some experience with it that be great, or some good plastic bumpers.
Love my seidio case. Costed a bit (add about $17 shipping to korea!) but more reasonable than a busted screen when I intend on keeping this phone for at least 3 years. Feels good in the hand.
I retired the 3800mah battery after a year.. Using the 2000mah stock battery but still loving this case. Thank goodness for 4.3.

my battery life is pretty bad nowadays, I think the battery that came with my I9300 is dying, it's draining fast,
So I searched in eBay for a genuine replacement (they sell fakes in my country so..), but I saw that they are probably fake too because of the low price.
but I found the 3000mAH Extended Battery and thought of buying it, untill I saw that my Balliitic SG maxx probably won't fit, and I want my phone to have a good protection, so is there a good case that can provide some decent protection for the phone with the extended battery?
Or.. maybe you know of eBay store that sells genuine I9300 battery or any other online store that sells genuine batteries and that ships internationally?

thanks for the help, but I really don't want my phone to look and feel like a refrigerator, I prefer something at max the size of the 3000. but that it will have a good protective case in the style of ballistic, that gives quite a good protection in case your phone falls on its screen ( which happened a few times with this case and it really saved it)

I am not looking for a regular case, I have ballistic SG maxx and it's great, but I wanted to know what cases are going to fit the 3000mAh samsung extended battery and that will provide same level of protection (but I highly doubt there are)
Diztronic is the only case for the extended battery that I know of.

The Diztronic cases are great. Really good quality, and relatively inexpensive too. I have the matt Black one on mine.
I only wish they came in more colors (I'd really like a red one).
