Hello Everyone!
I just reciently rooted my HTC One V and have gotten some decent hacking apps [ Faceniff, DSploit ]. These work and dont work from time to time. If anyone can suggest some other great hacking apps, or just apps that are good ( Which require root ) please reply or post a link below!
Thanks,

To add to the rooted Apps, I suggest installing "Fast Rebooter". It clears all app data, cashe, and UI to make the phone work at a higher speed.

Just beware that on Cyanogenmod for our phone, network tweaks kills reception and WiFi. Only reception will be seen.
I recommend Rebooter, Solid Explorer, and Titanium Backup.

My best apps would include...
Here are my best 3:
1. AirDroid - allows remote control of your phone from a web browser
2. Fing - General network tool include ping, traceroute, network scan etc... very nice indeed
3. Wi-Fi analyser - shows wireless signal strength and channel use for all nearby wireless network
Enjoy!
just check the link in my signature
I'm using RhythmicRom along with rom tool box and I'm having issues with the boot animation I select through the toolbox. Basically, lol, it will update, but no bit anim will play... any input?

Try this:
Private Place Secret SMS MMS and Calls which is just superior for root phones: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fahrbot.apps.security.firewall
RAM manager Pro
very nice with one V's not so good RAM

Strange isn't it. Mine did that yesterday too, even though I had previously deleted Market-updater.apk from /system/app
The latest version of new Market is a lot better though, especially with different DNS settings.

Hi
I used adfree for long time and it used to work fine, but from last 6 six I am updating adfree on daily basis but still receiving a lot of adds on my phone, in Apps. I am using ginger villain rom.
I hope someone have an idea or app link or. Apk,
Cheers

Try Adaway.
via xda app
Adfree Android
AdAway works better than Adfree for me, but in general both work only then really well if one is S-OFF),
well I was using this one adblock enable v2 but Its not working for me as well now :-/. http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=630043&d=1308494869
In gingervillain there's an app called villain setup from there you can flash an ad-remove script. This script actually changes your host file(ip of ad-servers are redirected to localhost) so adds can't be loaded anymore.

Whenever I open it at bottom of app I gets loads of ads n accidentally touch it always.they do not have paid version for app so can not buy that. Earlier adblock n adfree used to block ads in this app. Any idea????
Thanx for all ur comments.
Cheers

Try Settings - Apps - Downloaded - Line - Clear data
downloaded the Line app, open the app.. don't have any FC for Full Sense, I believe it should works ok with Sense Lite too as there is no reason for it not to work in Sense Lite.. but only later at night I can try it.
Tried on Sense Lite... still works ok.
Suggest you try to clear the Line app data.
diffrence

The most obvious difference
Sense Lite - 5 homescreens
Sense Full - 1 to 7 remove/add able homescreens
I edited the topic of my thread because I have some questions when using other roms too.
When using "SuPrimo v23.0", I found keyboard with arrows would force-closed.

Thanks ckpv5 for help.
I think the problem is system tuner pro.
I use the app to backup my application & app's data.
And I installed 2.0 rom, then I used system tuner pro to restore apps.
I reinstalled apps from market and they wouldn't be force-closed.
Maybe system tuner is something wrong with 2.0 rom.
But I've never seen this problem on previous roms.
It worked normally before.

You may have to copy the app out of the stock ROM then push it to your system files on your new one. Make sure the permissions are set correctly.

You can use titanium backup (free in the play store) to make a backup of the app, then when you flash a rom, you just download titanium backup from the play store and it will find the backup of all your apps, and you can restore them

OK.. here it is 100% working (as far as I can tell) CM9 for the CDMA primoc.
IT WORKS WITH THE UPDATED (OTA) Radio & HBOOT. Please do not ask...
EVERYTHING works, including USB tethering, bluetooth tethering, wifi hotspot, bluetooth to mono headset (voice !), bluetooth to A2DP, bluetooth sleep !, wifi sleep !, videos, sms, mms, camera 5 mp, camera flash, panorama, video recorder 720p, adb, adb root, ...
It's all there. Built from the latest source. The only "mod" is that Apollo 1.1 (latest) is included.
There is only one very minor glitch.
It is VERY, VERY rare, and only in VERY low memory situations - there seems to be some font corruption in some apps. Disabling the 'purge assets' under performance seems to fix this. Do not enable 'purge assets'.
It uses the original HTC camera files, so it is very stable. I am going to work on changing it to use the open source Code Aurora drivers this winter.
Could not have done it without the CyanogenMod team, simonsimons, rukin, and jmztaylor and their posted github code for ideas.
It's a great ROM for our devices, very fast, and completely stable.
Some rules... Sorry but I will not answer any "how do I..." questions. I just do not have the time. There are plenty of forum posts that direct you how to install a custom rom, add mods, etc.
If you do find a bug/issue, please post it here. I will probably not be posting frequent updates, except for critical issues. Enhancements will probably be done this winter when the golf season ends...
rom updated: camera flash fixed
rom updated: bluetooth sleep fixed
download link - tested
download link latest - untested
BTW, you also need to flash gapps. Also, flash the boot.img in the rom using fastboot. You need to do a full wipe if coming from a jellybean based rom.

Try dev-host Mega will give you problems if trying to download with phone, Not mobile friendly.
devhost. more reliable as far as roms go..to share your source thats another story.i cant say on that.
I plan on sharing the source. Noticed today high battery drain when Bluetooth on. Seems to be a kernel lock issue. Seems a common ics problem. Going to post what I've got, but also build a new kernel from the HTC source with a few mods for overclock and have to make sure all of the other stuff still works.

Just an FYI, the Bluetooth battery drain is not typically an issue since it is normally in the car, and you can be charging. Also, use a tasker setup that turns off BT when not needed and you're all good.
