can someone show me how to calibrate S-pen in SGN2? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

I utilize my S-pen for sketching purposes, though, somehow, the pointer seems to be off. Don't know what's wrong with it, if I need to calibrate or something else. Your opinion and guide line is helpful. Thanks in advance

Dial *#0*# and go to the wacom test, see if ur screen itslef isnt messed up.
If u wanna increase or decrease sensitivity, ur gonna have to take the clicky portion of your stylus off, the button u push to get trace effects or enter settings with. Theres potentiometers inside, turning clockwise decreases sensitivity and turning counter clockwise increases. Ive only read about it and havent done it myself, id post a link, but the info goes to another forum, a simple google search will give u more info.
Good luck and report back

You can go to a tmobile store and show them and they can maybe replace the stylus for your, just don't mention that you opened it

Wow, thanks for the info, I may have to tinker with my son once I'm brave enough.. . lol

I found a solution to my own problem, initially, I was have tough time using spen during sketches and during other apps that uses spen; The problem was my hard cover case that has magnet to close, that magnet always came behind the screen as I opened my case while sketching or using spen.... You keep the magnet away from the screen and that's it... problem solved.

[Q] Baby heartbeat moniter?

My wife is looking for an app that detects the unborn fetus's heartbeat. Unfortunately, we've not yet been able to find one. So my wife wanted me to post and ask everyone here if anyone knew of an app that works for this purpose. Thank you in advance...

You could try "instant heart rate" maybe? Instead of using finger use her belly.

I wouldn't use the phone to do that. Who knows how much radiation really comes from our phone. I read a report stating guys can go sterile from keeping a phone in their front pocket. The report may have been hyped but I would play it safe unless its just for a second or two here and there
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA Premium App
I never thought of the radiation thing, thanks fellow xda members.. she did mention that on a forum she goes on, someone mentioned that there's an app for the iphone that works. But not for her Evo.

What is your favorite Galaxy S3 exclusive feature?

Of the many features Samsung included in the Galaxy S3, what is your favorite (or one of them) and why? Even if it isn't exclusive to the phone, I'm curious to know.
Personally, and I didn't think this would be one of them when I heard about it, I LOVE Smart Stay. I usually use my phone a lot to browse and read forums and other internet documents. My old phone was constantly turning off the screen while I read a long post. My Galaxy S3 never turns it off. One of the best features of the phone imo. It's all the little things that work together to make this phone so great.
So what is your favorite feature of the phone?

I also love Smart Stay, it just makes reading easier than having to constantly be touching the screen.
Personally, I love all the ICS and JB leaks I get to play with!!! Never seen a phone with so many so fast!

S pen issues

Has anyone else had Issues with the S pen 'making contact' when its only meant to be hovering?
I had a N7105 for a week with no issues...sent it back and picked up this N7100 yesterday. Starting noticing the issue today with a drawing app. I kept making marks when I was hovering!
Any ideas? Do I need to take it back?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
I'm getting similar issues so would be great to find out if this is a common occurrence.
Sent from my GT-N7105 using xda app-developers app
I also face same issues and its practically UNUSABLE due to this issue. I found an advise on youtube where removing the cap on the button on S pen expose a potentiometer and slightly turning the screw clockwise reduces the sensitivity of the S pen and can fix the issue. I haven't tried it yet but will certainly do in the near future and update here.
I still have the N7105 boxed and ready to be returned... could I swap the pens or do they only work with the device they are shipped with?

Stylus sensitivity
This is fixable by turning the tiny screw under the button of the stylus there's a thread about it

Cheers, I should have searched for this first.
It was suggested on this thread...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2028581
That a firm tap on a hard surface can fix the issue. Some people seem to have had success with that. I've tried it, but its too soon to say if its worked.
I don't plan on tweeking the sensitivity adjustment, because I've only had the handset for 2 days and would rather just return it as faulty.

Is your question, can you leave this off? Or on?
You're taking about the setting in the Hidden Menu?
Someone else posted something about this, their name started with a"C" I believe.
Anyway, mine is turned off and has been since that other post. I don't really think it did much for my battery life.

If i can leave it on because i love my antutu score of 21000 and my brightness issue and my bateery life has been good i tether alot but the phone stays right around 102 im going to do a full bateery test with it today but i just wanna know is it gunna kill my phone having it on at all times
Sent from my LG-LS970 using xda app-developers app
So here's the thread it was originally brought up on. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2328478
I remember my issues with it. I'm outside a lot and the phone will autodim down to 67% making it unreadable in sunlight. When I used this setting, I worked great outside but the screen would do some weird things when I left it on all the time. But I think it was conflicting with the autobrightness. It probably does make your phone run hotter as the cpu and the display won't be using any temperature regulation. And the Display has always been an issue on stock.
Yea i readthat one allready i just need some to giv reassurance that its beeb thoroughly tested
