request porting rom sense 3.5

Hi all, I wanted to know if anyone could be ported to the following rom: # post17997157 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=17997157 maybe adding data2whatever, or you could recommend a program to easily perform porting and add the data2whatever?

That post is a guide for porting.....its not a rom

I tried your method but does not work and some files are not present in any of two Roma. Someone close to jinkitaru could ask them to do a port HTC Explorer? since he has already done what the Salsa

Jikintauru is working on it I think.

Hi, maybe because this rom is only for developers and have a lot of bugs,and this rom is in alpha version, just flash another rom

Hey, if you mean the ROM from jorfaz then it won't boot (for nobody). It's a known issiue.
I'm sure he's trying to get it booting
Try this one it boots but touch drivers arent working that good (you have ring instead of your hand which gives the touch commands).
Hazou made it so all credits go to him

No problem
Yes that's not only your problem you just have to wait until the developer releases a fix/update for this ROM
The ROM in the link works but i wouldn't recommend it to you to try this ROM because almost nothing is working (but atleast it works see this)

We'll see which bugs are remeaning. The first ICS ROM was released one year ago and there are stil bugs. I hope we get Jelly bean as soon as possible

but what you want to try when it doean't work properly?? still it's in beta tests and has a lot of bugs ); if u want sth new and sth what can be used as daily rom then try some ics rom like cm9.1 by jordfaz or something like that

I would like to wipe out ICS & Sense 4.0 from my HTC One V and install any stable custom Gingerbread ROM. Is such thing even possible? Any pointers please? I don't need Sense at all in custom ROM. Help appreciated. Thanks.

Won't Jellybean ROM would be too much for specs of One V? I am just fed up with this phone being so slow and almost instantly starts lagging after a month's use. I need something lighter which will make sure this phone will run without noticeable lag.

Ok. Thanks mate. Sorry I am new to rooting and flashing ROM. When I try to search link for steps to install CM9 on HTC One V, I find too many results and can't decide which one is stable with minimum bugs. If you can PM me any link which I can follow to accomplish this, it would be great.

i still recommend CM10(jelly bean)

I am trying to install primoU CM10 ROM mentioned at below link. But is there any link which will give step by step navigation on how to install this ROM? I completed steps of unlocking Bootloader and Rooting my HTC One V.

It is the sk8erboy one. Sk8erboy is the maintainer for HTC One V Miui China. So yes it would be safe to flash. Just remember to use the CM10 Hellboy kernel.

I tried sk8erboy Miui V5 rom it was amazing on look , but to slow opening apps and games . Is that problem on all primou Miui roms?

Yep :/.
Sk8's MIUI v5 is the most smooth, I also find his HTC Sense based MIUI V4 smooth as well. Paarthdesai's MIUIv4 CyanogenMod 10 based it pretty smooth as well. But most MIUI ROMs are slow on the One V since it's only a mid-range device :/

Hi I am newbie, sorry I didnt found any similar post.
I have a HTC One V GSM, I trying to install MIUI rom, I download it from its official site, I plan to use Titatium Kiss Kernel,
The main reasons to install MIUI is to change my phone a increase its performance, I currently have many issues with lags.
How much time takes to install the miui?
I am using TWRP to install the rom I saw the download picture but I dont know How much it takes to complete the installation?
1 hour, 4 hours?

For me , I didn't took over 15 mins.
of course exclude download and install all apps
BTW, MIUI interface is look great except it's slow because of lagging compare to CM and Spongle.

Thanks dude Something must be wrong, I am pretty sure I have left my phone booting 15 minutes but nothing happends
I have try also with paranoid and AOKP (the one of the pink unicorn) but I havent achieve to install another rom to my phone.
One more question: I want to create a new back up but TWRP doesnt allow me because It appears a message related with MD5 image.
So should format my sd card?

I think so, I install Titaium Kiss Kernel 3.0.16... indeed it is the current kernel I am using in the stock rom
I having many lag issues.

Stock ROM? with TK kernel? Try overclocking and use smartassv2 governor, deadline scheduler.

Sorry for my late response, I have been pretty busy at work.
I dont know how to overclock my phone...
Just what I want is to reduce the lags of my phone either installing a new rom or making a factory reset (but this is my last option)
I tryied to install miui and AOKP but this looks they get into a boot loop...

i root my htc one v (India) and updated the 4.1.2 Slim Bean Rom ( and other roms ). But its totally slow and very low performance. Now i want to go back to Stock ICS Rom, but the indian version of RUU ( 2.24.720.1 ) is not available for download anywhere.

I know this doesn't answer your question directly, but have you tried Ignorance (which is stock rom plus some tweaks)?

I think your answer is absolutely appropriate in this case. Some modified stock ROMs are really comparable with the genuine one. In addition to Ignorance (really nice one) I would mention myOneV, mySense, HTCdroid. There are more for sure. You just have to try...

And am a beginner for this, so i have one more question to ask " Now am in 4.1.2 jellybean rom, so i can flash myOneV or mySense roms (is android 4.0.4) in Boot recovery ???

You can flash any OneV ROM you want, but remember to wipe everything except SD card before flashing ROM different than is installed. And yes, you will lose everything personal - data, apps, etc.
