[ROM][4.1] XPERION based on JB 203

This is my first ROM ever. So I believe you people will bear with me.
This ROM is based on JB 203 leak. And only for Unlocked Bootloader.
Features:
- Fully Deodex+Pre Rooted+Debloated
How to flash:
- Flash ICS last firmware in Flashtool. (It avoid tools screen while booting)
- Flash the kernel.
- Flash the ROM. (Do not wipe anything if you follow 1st step)
- Enjoy.
- First boot may take a wile. Let the ROM settle a bit.
Download:
Download ROM from HERE.
(Put all 4 files in 1 folder and extract the zip file. It will create zip file)
Download Kernel from HERE.

This kernel. You can't boot up JB on stock (or even modded) ICS kernel.
Would be nice if next ROM will include boot.img.

I ask for 204 on the leaj thread. But no one is willing ti give me a link. So I cant make it. And I heard 203 is better than 204 and 204 is full of "3"'s bloatwares.

There is a thread he created in Themes and apps section. And I think we need a special kernel changes for it if I am NOT wrong.

.203 is a way less laggy OMG. I've never tried it before but I prefer it.
Thank you for the ROM btw.
If I can suggest something, add talk.apk. It's needed for the user to download apps from browser's GooglePlay...

But why are you deleting Google Now?

Using AnTuTu on FXP kernel shows 7500 points (forgot exact number already).
On Sony kernel it's 8603.

Deodex Xperia S 6.2.B.0.200 with use Recovery

Requirements:
Xperia S 6.2.B.0.200
Both locked & unlocked bootloader
Root
Busybox
Recovery
How to install
Download the Deodex_6.2.B.0.200.zip and save it on SDCARD
Reboot device into recovery
Make sure that the /system partition is unmounted or you'll get error status: 7
Flash the Deodex_6.2.B.0.200.zip
Reboot to system
Enjoy!

It is not ROM, it is DEODEX for ROM.
This package deodex (convert) odex-files to deodex-files in folders /system/app and /system/framework, and so some of the mod/theme you will need to install again.

I have not tried. You can try this
If you installed it in addition to the STOCK ROM, you may need to install it after DEODEX again.
Make Backup.

This package works well for me and other.

Hey Bird40, one Q: i've done fresh install .211 from Doom, next i've flashed Your deodex tool, everything went fine, but i see many .odex files in /system/app and /system/framework.
Why?
During your deodex tool flashing there was message "deleting odex-files", so why are still here in these folders?
Subquestion is: can i delete them safely without system brick?

I do not know, why do you have .odex-files.
Write a list of .odex-files.

All this odex-files should be deleted automatically.
With RootExplorer go to the /system and select RW. If you happen reboot this means you have a bad root.

Hey, i'm using this ROM for few days, now i see this odex files and i remember that this should be deleted, so i'm thinking "i'm gonna ask for that"
I'll do backup with CWM and will delete all odex files.
For me everything should be fine, because your odex-tool went fine and don't give any error, so i'll try and will give feedback.

So I have a WIND variant S4, M919V (identical to TMob M919) and I wanna remove all the lame bloatware. Is there a list I can use to help list off all the stuff I can remove. Im also using TiTBackUp to remove most and maybe freeze a few... good idea?

I would start with removing all your carrier apps and then remove Chrome, TripAdviser, ChatOn, and especially Lookout.

Some carriers apps you got to be careful on. With T-Mobile here, you can remove the carrier IQ. I had the S2 model SGH-T989 which at 1st you couldn't remove the carrier IQ. Now you can on this model.

Quite Frankly, This Removes Every Useless App that came with your phone STOCk, now of course most of these can be downloaded form the app market.. Except for the stock samsung apps . Like S_Translator, Optical reader and whatnot. the rest, you'll most likely never use. Your gestures and samsung gimmicks still work perfectly.

I would probably only keep those two you mentioned, S_Translater, and Optical reader. If Im correct, Optical Reader is a nifty app that lets you scroll over words and what not and gives a definition and even has a voice to show pronunciation, and this is for several languages too.

Out of all those, I only keep SamsungOCR2. SamsungVideo SecVideoPlayer, I don't use S_Translator so I don't keep it, and I delete everything else.
Don't Forget That Thanks Button, Really Need Them.

Theres an app/icon now called "google settings" and I cant seem to find it on the TITBackup listings to remove it.. any ideas?

one mans crap is another mans... well its probably still crap but they might use it... thats why i was wondering if there is a list where the app dependencies are listed.... not a big deal..just a wish

So what would be the most painless approach to remove these apps? I'm not an expert with Titanium Backup, but can it be done through that app? I disabled most that I could through app settings. But only a few could be disabled.

Weird, does this require titanium back up?
Is that why its soft bricked?

Just ran the apk. I didn't do anything else. It rebooted and that was it.

It's based off the list proved a few posts back. My guess is you didn't have a launcher installed besides touchwiz

try this: textinput-chn.apk

Did some deodexing myself too.
Tested & working fine.
textinput-chn.apk
JapaneseIME.apk
Copy both to /system/app/ using any root explorer.

Will this work on C6506? If not, can I link the FTF file and would you mind creating a deodex for us?
*Update: flashed this on my c6506 to try it anyways, no issues so far.

Yes they are, from my ZL.
You need to be rooted of course, and need to flash via CWM as per original thread.
(you can't install them as apk, only cwm, or manual copy to system\app via root explorer & fix permission)

Is this universal for all Xperia Z phones or is it specific for Dany's phone?
