Hi, i recently bought a new 32GB Sandisk SD Card and put it into my device, i then realised that i couldn't use the sd card to move my apps to.
So i found this solution: http://galaxynote2root.com/galaxy-n...sd-card-with-rooted-galaxy-note-2-app2sd-mod/.
It worked as i downloaded two apps. But all of a sudden i've being getting insufficient storage available even though i now have 27GB of storage.
PLEASE HELP
I think it's a known issue with this app.
Look for it in the app's forum

This always happens to me before, like all my apps on SD card randomly uninstall themselves, if I reboot, another one will be uninstalled while the previous is okay.
Usually, I go to settings > Storage > Unmount SDcard > then Mount SDcard afterwards.
This pissed me off so I moved all my apps to the 2gb partition... good thing I cleaned some of it so it occupies about 800mb...
Hm strange titanium backup still won't move but I'll try that app... Thanks
Edit: all app 2 sd does is make me go to the manual screen...

I know it works with my 32gb but since I upgraded to 64gb it doesn't like it, if I just install apps without it it works every so often when I reboot I have to mount manually so it's probably a sd problem

You can always buy an sd card, you can add 64gb. At least we have an option to add an sd card. If you need more space there's options.

And if you get a usb OTG cable, you can add a flash drive to add even more storage! I got a 64gb card in the phone and another 64gb flash drive which I've loaded with music and videos.

There's an option to transfer user apps to sd card in Titanium Backup paid version.

I was looking for an easy way to do this because I am lazy. Saw scripts and stuff but that seemed like work.I tried this, but I am not certain it works, at least not well. I ran it, and it says it ran successfully, but the device memory didn't change at all. Same amount taken up by applications, same available space over all.
However, I did try to move the apps back and forth again to test this, so maybe it moved once, but then refused to move any more. Not sure...
Do I have to have a rooted phone in order to move stuff to my sd card? This is insane that u can't move apps or music to an sd card. WHY would Samsung do that?

They are probably not transferring because they don't run properly from the external sd. There's plenty of room for apps in the internal.

I would really like to free up some space on my internal SD. I bought a 64GB SD card , and am using FolderMount to try and move the apps, but to no avail. Anyone figure this out yet? I am rooted running Infamous S4, and have removed all of the bloatware possible. Still really low an memory.
I use the stock file manager to move apps, i had this same problem with storage. Do you have more than one backup saved on your internal sd?

Like I stated in the original post, I am using FolderMount. The problem is the folders where the games should be are empty when I look for them. That is the ones I can find. Its like they don't really exist. I went into my data folder, did find one game, Zynga Poker, and tried to move it, pinned it, and it did absolutely nothing.
Your not moving the whole folder then. Your doing something wrong. Watch a couple YouTube videos on how to. Navigate to SD card, android, data or obb and select one of your games inside either of those two folders

Am I missing some memory? Shouldnt I have more available then 3.5? Is this normal guys I thought this phone has 16gb internal?
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app
You got one of the recall S4's probably. Shake the phone and see if you hear something rattle, if so thats the missing memory. Take it back to the store for recall replacment
Some of that 16gb is dedicated to the "system" (Rom and pre installed app)

Most likely the other part of you answer. Although its a 16gb device only around half of it is usable storage. Still after flashing a ROM I tend to have 7+GB available. Backups take a big chunk. 2.5 - 3gb and by default store internally. Move these to an external SD and select external as default storage on next backup. I actually have a separate 32gb thumb drive+ otg cable with a backup from multiple ROMs. And I select the USB otg option. Keeps my on board SD cards clean.
