Hiya folks,
Currently I'm using Darky 9.5 with (Valle-Mod) Honeycomb 5.1, and it looks and works brilliant.
However, i've been searching the overcrowded net for a decent/same styled GenieWidget, or a copy of the Honeycomb weather widget (the simple/digital one, for those familiair with Honeycomb). Same goes for the clock widget, with the rounded font.
Any of you got a tip?
(EDIT: I thought i was posting in Themes & Apps, excuse me!)
Go have a look at BW from market, Super clock has a HC skin in DL section.
I have a trasparent GenieWidget if you wish.
Cheers to both of you, and yes, iknightly; I'd love to have that one!
I have searched newer stock news weather apk installer too without sucess so i wait it too.

Hello everyone.
I wonder if there is a mod for added support of a scrollable widget TouchWizz of origin, in order used colorize widget for example by keeping the original home.
thank you in advance for your answers.
good Sunday.
Hello guys,
I was tired of Google Music, it crashes sometimes, was slow and unhandy for me. As I am a fan of the old standard Android Music Player, I decided to mod the old beast to get a fresher look.
It works flawlessly with every ROM. I am on AOKP MS1 Jelly Bean, just for the record.
The player has a status bar widget, is available on lockscreen and recognizes "VOL-Button to next track", if your ROM supports this.
If you like this Mod, feel free to download and install. Just push the .apk to /system/app and set the permissions to rw-r--r--, reboot and you are done.
In addition I packed a CWM-flashable .zip just for your convenience. Old Music.apk's will be deleted then! Please make a backup if you are unsure.
Version 2.0 can be installed as a normal app! If it doesn't install, you can push it to /system/app - eventually you must delete old Google Music then.
Screenshots and file are attached, keep on rocking!
Changelog:
12-22: Release v1
12-24: Release v1.1, new icons and new Tab bar, small fixes
04-30: Release v2.0, real Holo design, fixed all layout issues
Can music from the Play Music cloud be played through this?
Sent from a cloud of smoke
No, because only the Google Music Player can do this.
Google hasn't released the API until now.
Awesome job! I was tired of that old Froyo look. Works great on cm 10.1
The relentless pursuit of the perfect rom
Thanks, glad you like it
I've updated the player to v1.1, mostly visually to fit Holo more.
Got rid of the old tab bar and styled the menu context icons.
Merry Christmas to all!
Awesome work!!
Great design and functionality.
I come from iOS so this is exactly what I was looking for.
I have one issue though. I use pin protection for the lockscreen, is there a way to set album art to fullscreen? So it could fully cover the lockscreen wallpaper.
Unfortunately there is no .xml for a lockscreen widget, so I suppose this is controlled in the framework of the ROM itself.
The only widget I can change in the app is the 4x1 music control widget.
What ROM are you on? Can you post a screenshot from your lockscreen with the music widget in addition?
Thanks, I have a Galaxy S II running Omega 19.1.
HereĀ“s the screenshot.
AW: [MOD] AOSP JB Music Player Holo + Lockscreen Widget (Update v1.1)
Fantastic Work.
At last the good old MusicPlayer in new JB Style. I love it.
Only one thing under CM10 I9100G, there are the icons/buttons for playlist, shuffle and repeat not in one row.
Oh, a other small thing. Is there translation for menu possible? It appears only in English.

Thank you
Works nicely with CM 10.1...addition of the lockscreen control was just what I needed.

Hmmm
As I hated the stupid german translation and like english in music apps more, I deleted the extra languages - so for my mod: no, sorry
You can easily copy the translation from original app with apktool again.
Regarding lockscreen: indeed this is controlled by framework not the app, so I can't do anything about it.
You'll need to change framework-res.apk for that.

I uninstalled MY OWN mod, why?

Thank you..

Thanks this works great
Thanks for this mod it's a great light player, just what i was looking for. I too didn't like all the bloat in Google Play.
I was wondering if there was the possibility of one addition?
I have .nomedia in my music folder so my picture viewer doesn't load all my album art (i fell out with quickpic)
Would it be possible to have an option to ignore .nomedia?
Thanks, Cuben
We all realize that 4.2.1 is not stable and ready (although it flies on my Note 2) as of right now.
However I'm requesting that a good, kind soul will start to work on a Lockscreen Widgets Mod that will enable adding any widget in our lockscreen. Currently we can add only 4-5 built-in widgets.
Check this thread out
:laugh::fingers-crossed::victory::highfive:
I'm running 4.2.1 with JellyBeer and I can add any widget I want.
Works on all devices (cm needed probably). Very smooth. Original thread here:
