Just letting you guys know that Google Wallet is now function with the new ota (MA7) It isn't available in the play store for the note 2 anymore though, but I downloaded version 1.6 and it no longer shows the unsupported device screen and gets to the point of showing all my cards.B
I've been waiting for my update just so I could use Google wallet. It's never taken this long to get an update.

Hi all,
We are looking for volunteers to beta test Screencast on the Nexus. You will need to have it rooted, and will get a free license for participating.

Requirements:
Rooted Galaxy Nexus
Willing to test new builds and report back.
Familiar with adb
Benefits:
Help bring Screencast to the GNexus
Free license to the paid version.

Anyone can tell if this works on a custom rom 4.03?
Hate to bump such an old thread .. but did anything ever come from this? Was anyone able test that can comment on what's happening?

This would be great. Much better than having to shoot a video of yourself doing things (installing ROMS, unlocking, etc) for posting. I use Camtasia on my PC and this seems pretty similar. I hope they are still working on a GNEX version.
I would test if still needed

What's the status of this app with the Galaxy Nexus? I could use it today and would buy it in an instant if it works with the GN.
I bought this about 6 months ago when i have sgs. Good app, i want it to gnex too
What's the delay on this? Is the system still blocking you from recording it?
I was asking myself why this doesn't work after I saw some videos in YouTube that were recorded on GNexii. Not bashing this app; it's more of a "how the hell did they do that" than a "why does my favorite screen capture app doesn't work yet in my newfangled device"?
OMAP4 and Tegra are kicking your ass, aren't they?

What gets me is that for a "developers phone", there seems to be way to many restrictions. screen casting, call recording, etc...

I think most restrictions were applied to the Verizon models, and devs simply gave up working on the GSM one (which is a "truer" Nexus, since it's actually the worldly phone).

I assume it's a fact our phone will be getting AndroidOS 4.2, but does anyone have a link as to when that might be?
Thanks for any info.

I` am sure we will get 4.2, it is not a major update. Even the Note 1 gets Jellybean after a year. Samsung isn`t LG fortunately
Sammobile just leaked a new jb firmware for gt n7000...in that post they say that jb 4.2 is planned for Q1 2013 release...for s3 n note 2...

I am using Mackentosh 2.5 Allstars and my phone displays that my phone is unsupported but I can still use google wallet. If you can view your cards it should work. Google does not support rooted phones with google wallet but that does not mean you cannot use Google Wallet.

Thanks for that. It didn't work for me at first, but after I manually edited the build.prop to list the device as “SPH-l900" instead of “SCH-l900" it worked. I also changed the ro.carrier entry from “unknown" to “Sprint" but I doubt that made a difference, other than cosmetic. It could be it was just the reboot associated with changing the build.prop, rather than the actual changes I made that really gave Wallet a kick in the pants, but either way, it seems to be working for now.
