Loving my new stock rooted Note 2 but the fonts in the notifications pulldown are just too large. Anyone know a way to change them (without flashing a custom ROM). It's a shame that they don't change with the font size change for the system. I would think that would be a given.

Recently I've been having fun changing the fonts on my phone. With all the fonts I'm able to change in the list, I can't change them all. I mean, I can but when I do and reboot it gets stuck in a bootloop. I've only successfully changed the clock font and pretty much any font that isn't bold or italicized. Although I would like to change some more fonts other than just normal-style fonts. Does anyone know which fonts for sure can't be changed? If not, I'll even go through them one at a time to compile a list of unchangeable fonts.
Or could it be the font I'm choosing just won't take to the font I'm trying to replace?
Okay, it seems they all will change, but to do it safely I have to change some of the separately.

I faced the same problem but how to solve the bootloop if I face it??
I had to flash a new ROM and lost everything. If you made your list it would also be of great help.

SOME fonts from rom toolbox are for GB and below only. that's why you'll get bootloops.
try finding fonts for ICS/JB in the main Android Developement forum then go to themes section. if you get a bootloop and don't have a backup or something
or you could try THIS out
Hi,
After updating gnex to jellybean(unlocked boot + rooted), I installed a unicode font to read my language(it's based on droidsans) using this application(Tamil Unicode Font -Donated)(i can't post link as i'm a new user)
it has a backup option which backed up my old font. Now I want to revert back to fonts that came with jellybean(roboto condensed?).
This application had a restore option that didn't work. I tried several applications like font changes, font installer etc... but none of them changed my font back.
How can i switch back to original stock fonts(roboto in jellybean) without losing any data?
Thanks
Try the ROM toolbox app in the playstore. It's for free. It has a menu to change the system font, and many other customizations. Hope this helps.
It seems like I couldnt change my font style even I've installed flip font on my device. I have no font option on setting too. Anyone can give me some help?
Maybe you have tried to install some fonts that are not compatible with ICS (i suppose you are using ICS).
A better and simpler way to install the fonts in case you have root is by CWM. There was a thread here somewhere about flashing fonts and there was a guy that could make the font you like, ICS compatible. In case you still need help i will look for the thread and post it here
Hi everyone.I was playing with my navigation keys today,I flashed a zip but somehow that also changed the color layout of the notification bar.
As you already know the dominant color is white not blue.when you look at the pictures the clock at the top the date and the additional settings key has to be white instead.
So now I am looking to find a way to revert this back to default color layout.
Running rasbean jelly 4.2.1 rooted and twrp.
I don't have any nandroids at this point so the option to use a previous backup is a no go.
Thanks in advance
anybody has an idea on this?
Flash your old rom over it. Only wipe the cache's unless you have a backup of your apps.
Anybody know the folder location of the OnePlus 9 Pro systemwide fonts? Want to overwrite them with a custom font using the default font names after backing them up.
Nevermind, I have finally found the way to change my fonts to a custom font! With a custom boot animation, I finally have my phone the way I want it!!!! Yippee!!!!
Be prepared for your lock screen clock to likely show squares cos half the fonts don't show : correctly
How did you changed the font ? You rooted the phone ?
