Smaller mhl adapters? - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Accessories

Can you get more compact ones i find them to bulky and annoying to use, is there one you can get that is just one lead with small micro usb port for the power?

I use this one: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/190708255661
I think it's pretty compact, although we might have different definitions.

Yes that does look better having the power and micro usb coming from the same lead

I agree, a very nice design, that I didn't know of.
Thank you for this.

So with this cable I can connect the Note to a tv with HDMI ?

I think the case is the hardware you're referring to.
Yes charging wirelessly requires either a pogo-pin or a usb-connected back-case. And I can assure you it will charge slower than a pc-usb connection
I am trying and looking for a qi charging receiver like this kit http://product.madeinchina.com/2012-Newest-Portable-QI-Wireless-Charger-Cable_14117282.shtml

My phone is Xperia S .50 kernel
Did you try a different tv?

I'll probably do,but the point is to use my TV
I had this exact same problem, after I bought an HDMI to DVI connector to try and hook up the phone to a spare monitor, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2060773
still not sure what the issue is
in service menu (test- tv out- sttings) try set resolution to SD ...
It's quite strange, but the issue actually involves the cable. With the 1.4m cable I bought, the thing worked on a new TV at the store, bot not on my '07 Daewoo(see above).Later I've bought a simple tiny microHDMI->HDMI adapter for 2$,and it worked flawlessly, except for it's quite quirky and sometimes disconnects if you move it around.Anyway,I have no idea what it is.

[Q] Does your micro USB cable look like this?

My little cousin was playing around with my S4 Mini's USB cable and he connected the USB part with the micro USB one and just now I noticed that one of the things in the micro side is missing, see this picture:

Can you guys do me a favor and check if the second one is missing or mine is just "broken" now. Still, charging and connecting with computer works but I'm worried it may cause other issues such as establishing connections with Odin and such.
Yup, it's supposed to look like this. Read the Wikipedia entry on USB.
Second opinion reporting.
Yup mine looks like that as well.

Thanks for your replies. Feeling relieved now. :victory:

Magnetic dock/charging cable friendly cases?

Hi there,
Are there any good cases that allows the phone to be charged via the magnetic dock or charging cable (i.e. not micro USB)?
Thanks,
Chester

My original plan was to use this dock:

with the micro USB cable from my Note II and just use this adapter:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Sony-XL39H-X...DA_Cables_Adapters&hash=item51b37645a3&_uhb=1
I can't tell you how well it will work, since the charging adapter is still in transit and the dock still hasn't passed funding stage yet.
I also looking for a case that will fit in the dock dk31.....any one know...?

Replacement charger cable for Galaxy Tab S Tablet

I'm looking at Amazon, and the cable is a 2 amp. My question is, what's the amperage on the one that comes in the box? It sounds awfully cheap at $3.99. It also includes the wall plug too! Is this legit or should I be looking elsewhere?

I bought a few supposed oem referbs off eBay
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=191459004963&alt=web
They have a slightly different appearance (fake) but all seem to work properly.
