any rugged waterproof cases?

I'm looking for a waterproof case that DOESNT look like a plastic bag.. something to use as my phones normal phone case.. does anyone know of such a case? please and thank you

I just bought a defender from amazon for only $28, that seidio looks nice but not $90 nice.

I'm going for the Seidio Obex when it comes out.
I'll only put it on when I'm Kayaking down the Delaware though.

I guess if you really want or need a waterproof case, it's a good option.

The OBEX case looks very hopeful! I've been meaning to find a waterproof one, thanks for the thread! :good:

just a pity its BLACK. yuck. at least otterbox "gets it" and has some nice colors. too bad they are still very expensive relative to alternatives.

I have not personally sold mine, however I have seen people getting up to $500 for it if it's in mint condition
However you can definitely get $400 for it easily, and at $350 it will move in 24 hours or less I'd bet.
Check craigs list and ebay to see what others are selling for.

Seems like everybody want to sell their s3 and get note 2. On ny craiglist there are too many offer to sell or trade.

I'm also in NY and for me to move this quickly in mint condition it would take me selling for $350 or less with all my accessories Nd that's not happening. I'll keep my gs3 as powerful as the note 2 is it doesn't justify the money I have to spend getting it over the s3. Sadly neither does the n4.
I wonder what the next step for android will be. The sgs3 was a nice "jump" and the note 2 is a little move forward but I'm looking for a leap before I move anything.

Depends on you area. I keep grttonf offers of $450 but i still dont see a better phone in the market

I'm going to post mine for sale for 475$ dock charger/spare battery slot, and 2 spare batteries, and a rock case. Phone doesnt have a scratch on it... just waiting to play with the Nexus 4 once my friend gets it.

sometimes it can take up to a month, more than that than you can start to have some negative ideas

Seidio does also just sell the case without the holster.

I tracked the package through the ID evay seller sent me.. it went from LA to jamaica New York its there since 16 december maybe because it was holidays they didnt ship it

USPS First Class = slow boat.
One item I mailed to Europe this method took six weeks to arrive.

Due to customs i guess. It usually slows down when it arrives the coubtry of destination whilst at customs.

Are there any TPU cases that fit with the anker extended battery?
Because I ordered the anker battery, but I dont know if there are any cases that would fit AND that they cell in Europe, so if any1 could be so polite to point out if one of this cases would fit..

Sounds like USPS lost it. No surprise there. File a dispute with eBay. Don't leave negative feedback as it's not the sellers fault.
eBay will refund your money and not take it from the seller.
I sold something, same thing happened and it got hung up during the holidays. The buyer demanded a replacement and left me negative feedback. I'm still pissed. 10+ years and it's the first negative. People are stupid.

Today I got my case.. I must say that.......I ****ing love it its exactly what normal people want! Full protection from medium hits thin and not that rubber and silicons that you see around stores.

Lifeproof Case on eBay?

I've seen a bunch of threads regarding that the Lifeproof cases aren't out yet... But on eBay there are a few cases for sale. I'm guessing these are fake but the pictures look pretty legit. Any experience with these? I'm still new so I can't post links but if you type in "S3 Lifeproof" on eBay it should pop up.

I was about to start a thread and remembered there already was one. So since this thread I've noticed a large increase in the number of fake lifeproof's, I'm assuming some company in china got the specs and started making replicas. Looks like the prices are in the $40 to $50 range, so who's going to be the guinea pig and buy one? Part of me wants to try it since the real lifeproof cases cost $80, but another part of me thinks that its stupid to spend $50 on something that could be complete crap. Especially if it ships from china or hong kong, if I don't like it I'd have to pay the shipping all the way back. Plus I'd have to wait 3 weeks just to get it and possibly another 3 weeks to get the refund........
Anybody want to sponsor me? I'll put a big pictorial and detailed review?:laugh:

I'll be ordering one from a US Seller for a slightly higher markup. I can post a video review on Youtube, and here as well. I'll get it some time next week, as I'll probably order it with my birthday money or when my paycheck comes in. And hey, if you want to push $5 towards the cause, I wouldn't be opposed They look exactly like the iPhone version, even down to the packaging and colors available. one seller even mentioned that they aren't LifeProof branded, but had a 1 month return/refund/warrenty. In addition, Paypal and my bank offer a certain amount of time to make sure a product actually works (3 or 6 months, I think). I'm game for giving it a shot!
I imagine that the install would be the same as for an iPhone... and I'd want to check the seals BEFORE installing my phone... that'd be really sad.

Right, that's the whole point of this entire thread. These are FAKE or replicas or whatever you want to call them, that's why this thread got started. That's why they only cost $40 to $50 dollars. That's why some of them are from CHINA. I think I'll probably end up buying one of these once I find a white one that's being sold here in the US. I know they all are probably being made in the same place in Hong Kong or somewhere but I don't see any reason to order something and wait for a month for it to get here.

Being that lifeproof has yet to release the case, what's the alternative? If you need protection a fake case is better than nothing.

I love my water proof otterbox armor series . It's bulky compaired to the lifeproof that doesnt exist yet, but feels like it'll take on anything.

I didn't even know this one existed. I'll have to look into it. I take it you're happy with the case? Is touch sensitivity okay? I had the OBEX for a week and hated it. I like to five and would like to have something I can take on the boat with me that I don't have to worry about getting banned around or splashed. I have no intentions of actually taking it into the water.

i have a red cruizerlite in the post so i dont know if its worth getting a yellow or white case instead. but i hear the red is more orange.

I have black one for almost 4 weeks and is still in perfect condition, no peeling or whatsoever. I hope it stay that way. Ordered just before new year.
